I'm facing this problem of sound disappearance. I was casually browsing on YouTube when suddenly my sound went off. I thought maybe it was the internet but no everything was okay I also checked my speaker it was ok. Then I found out Firefox was unable to generate any sound. I tried to re-install but didn't work. Can you give me a solution?

I am using Firefox 136 browser and browsing my browser sound suddenly has disappeared. The PC sound is just fine with other applications, even with Opera browser I tested. Help is needed.

FireFox updated to 136.0 (64bit), running on Winders11. Youtube does not play video. No error messages. no audio no video no buttons to click on to start. I really need to get this running. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks Stan W8SRD

Is there a way to force the video to continue playing after closing picture-in-picture player? It's a hassle to go back and forth every time since the pip player is blocking something.

This issue just appeared. Video will not play in Firefox. Windows10 PC, up to date with latest versions, as is Firefox. There is no error message or code. Just the spinning wheel. I see other people are having the same issue but I haven't seen a solution. Any ideas or help appreciated.

TV signal, and audio cuts out (black screen) when using mouse arrow to drag scroll in side bar. Also gives a loud audible "click" as sound is temporarily cut out. ( Most probably whole HDMI signal is cut)

Black screen bug happens randomly with You tube with no mouse or keyboard action, but 100% repeatable with this website when scrolling :

• Youtube's video audio playback has a bit of 'choppiness' on it, there was this clicking sound everytime. I tested on Chromium-based browsers and this issue is non-existent to them, previous versions of Firefox for Android also does not seem to have this issue as per my experience.
• Bing search results on Firefox v135.0.1 for Android also sometimes becomes incompletely loaded and reloading the website does not seem to help, only up to half of the search results for the first page is loaded as the middle to bottom of the website is not loaded anymore.

Recently decided to try Mozilla for Windows. There is such a problem, and only on Mozilla: the video is very overexposed, the brightness is high, like in a fog, and on all video services, including YouTube. At the same time, I checked on all the other 3 browsers - everything is fine with the video. I did not change any settings in Mozilla, everything is by default. How to fix it?

So, I cannot get sound through firefox and you want me to search through numerous panels that do nothing to get a result., You want me to check connections and equipment that work in other apps which I have already gone through steps to prove.

Windows just had an update, in that when I did it now Firefox has no sound at all in Youtube, Disney plus or any other site.

Now I did my own trouble shooting, games have sounds, my music player (winamp) has sound, I downloaded chrome and I oped volume mixer and played a video in that, there was sound.

I do the same thing in firefox and there is no sound, and in volume mixer where the lines go up showing the volume as it plays, it did it for chrome but not Firefox.

So there is no issue with my head set, my computer or my sound, it is firefox alone.

Starting today, YouTube on Android Firefox using below version of Firefox, the audio distorts and has a continual popping clicking on each word of an audio podcast when you speed up the YouTube video to 1.5 or 1.75 prior to today it was fine ... The audio is still understandable but distorted when using one of these speed up settings

Using the Chrome browser, everything is fine on the speed up settings on YouTube.com
