I just swapped to a new PC and logged into my Firefox account but it keeps disconnecting me and says account is disconnected and I need to re login to connect. I re login and the issue continues again and again. Any ideas?

I imported my whole folder from AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles by copying the profile into my work computer and completely forgot I wouldn't need my gmail acount on this pc so I removed the account from the left side keeping my business account. Now thunderbird has a window pop up every time I open it where it says mozilla thunderbird email wants access to your google account. It doesn't matter what I select it will still back up next time. I clicked on the profiles. The gmail one is gone completely. Calendar was still showing my google calendar but I unbubscribed from them. Still have the issue. Kinda drives me nuts. Any help would be appreciated. I tried to follow some info i found from 2 years ago but didnt help

I am running version 128.1.1esr (64-bit) on Windows 11.

A few weeks ago one of my email accounts stopped working so after attempts to find and fix the problem I resorted to deleting and recreating the account in Thunderbird.

The account is a hotmail.co.uk account and the server type is "POP Mail Server".

I noticed that there were fewer folders under the account (Inbox, Drafts, Sent and Trash). There may also have been a Junk folder. I thought that perhaps Thunderbird would create any additional folders as and when messages appeared in them, but I have now discovered that I have messages in the Spam folder on the server but they do not appear in Thunderbird.

Please can someone tell me what I have done wrong and how can I fix it.

Hi Thunderbird community - I use Thunderbird for 14 email accounts. In a couple of them I have a lot of emails.

Recently the software started asking again to Compact, which I stopped doing due to all the temp files that would hang and then bloat my drive.

I accidentally hit Compact today, but I do not see any 'nstmp' files, but instead I see a duplicate 'INBOX-1' showing up.

Is this the new 'temp' file that we should delete in this case (of a hung up compact job)?

How do i keep my work browser seperate from my home browser account. This week they got mixed up and now i only have my work firefox. I lost all my bookmarks on my home firfox.

You took this without prior warning and letting me know what it is for. I will probably cancel this if you are not forth coming and if you dont answer I will put PayPal on the case. I need to comply with new Microsoft authentication requirements before Sept 16, or I will lose use of Thunderbird for my Hotmail email. Trying to update the server settings does not work; my email program does not send or receive emails after changing the Authentication Method. The only other option I know of is to Remove my Thunderbird Current Account, and Re-Add it... if so: If I remove my account account & then re-add it, Do I lose all my previous emails (which I have several years worth)... If so, what should I do in advance, before I remove my account, to save all my previous emails? Are there other updates/work-arounds with this Microsoft Authentication issue? When/how/where info will be most appreciated.. Thank you, Paul Ricker

Thunderbird was not responding and tried to reinstall profile. There are many (needed) emails that were saved in folders that are missing from the profile.

Used the export and import functions under tools menu. Possible corruption in sav8ng the profile.

How can we get the folders back ? The server copy has inbox but not folder baes email

Using Tbird 115 (or later) can gmail contacts be the listing used in Tbird and be in synch when changes are made in the gmail contacts list. There appear to be various methods and I seek the best and simplest. Thanks

So, I have a professional account with outlook.office365.com for my professional email (which is aleclercq@sobemab.fr). But I use my personal email to contact you right now. We have Black in Mail operating for all new email and then I can't get email from you unless you authenticate yourself.

Anyway, my configuration is : HP computer, windows 11 Professional (build 22631.4112) Thunderbird version 128.2.0esr (64-bit). Add-on Owl for exchange.

Now, when I launch Thunderbird, it connect properly and I do receive emails. All good.

But the problem comes when I want to SEND an email. It doesn' t work. I have attached some screenshots for you to see. It will be easier that way, I guess. I'll appreciate your help on that matter ASAP. Outlook is ok, but I can't stand it and I really want to use Thunderbird. :)

Hiya, I want to add my work account to thunderbird but it requires me to sign in via SSO (had to add the Microsoft SSO extension to chrome to make it work there).

The thunderbird browser cannot do this and cannot see any way to use chrome instead. It looks like setting up an 'app password' as some suggested online has been disabled as the option does not exist for me.

What options are there?

A few months ago, I filled a feedback survey on Firefox, and at the end of the survey it contained an option to check if I was interested in pariticipating in a follow-up study with a researcher from Firefox, and it was promised a financial compesation for my time.

I received an follow-up email today (from fx-researchteam@mozilla.com), talking about the recent survey I took and that I specified that I would like to do a follow-up interview, specifying available dates, interview duration (~60 minutes), and so on. It contained with a survey link from qsurvey.mozilla.com. The survey asked basic personal informations like email, name, gender, nothing too suspicious. Also, they specified they could paypal me $150 as a thanks for my time and feedback.

I saw someone received the same type of email and people claimed it as legit (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1442740), but the email that sent the survey was a different email (from firefoxresearch@mozilla.com).

All I'm asking is if Mozilla does conduct such interviews, and also pay people for their time... if this is not a scam or something...

Whenever I try to open up my emails in my Thunderbird email Program I keep being requested to enter a password and it doesn’t seem to work properly. How can I fix this? It’s only with my Outlook emails my husband and my mother have the same issue please help.
