I have automatic updates disabled, for the last month or longer I have refused to update Firefox and kept dismissing the notice when I start up my Firefox. Yesterday when I opened Firefox it just updated itself automatically and without even asking if I want to download the update. I tried to find a way to contact support but all I can find is posting a question on here, so hopefully someone can help me with this question: Why did Firefox ignore my update settings and download and install an update I have been denying for weeks now, and how can I prevent it from happening again?

Firefox used to have my background colors, and on the latest update, my pull-down menu and tabs are robin's-egg blue. I can't figure out how to get my colors back, and I hate that color.

How the hell do I get back control over my colors?

I'm using the latest version of Firefox. A website I visit a lot - https://www.underconsideration.com/brandnew - uses the Disqus system in its comment section. The problem is that no comments at all show up when viewed in Firefox, I have to switch to Safari just to read and engage with the comment forum. Why is this happening? Any ideas? Thanks.

I would like to change the authentication method to OAuth2, but it doesn't appear in the drop-down menu.

My Thunderbird version is 140.4.0esr (64-bit). I have all cookies set to allow.

I can not access my Outlook/Hotmail account in FireFox. I get a plank page. I have never had this problem before. I have no problem loading it in other browsers. Did something change? How do I correct this problem?

Yesterday, 50% of my bookmarks were deleted and now I can't bookmark anything. I tried to restore my bookmarks to several previous dates, but I received the following message each time:

I tried to bookmark different websites and no bookmarks are saved now. I updated to the latest Firefox today and no change.

I would like to send three photos as an email attachment. It seems that Thunderbird only allows one attachment at a time. How can I send more than one photo in the same email?

Hi, I have an old PC with Win7 and Firefox 115.30.0esr (64-bit) (latest version from 11 november 25) and this website cultuursmakers.be has problems aka differences with Firefox 141.0.3 (of my Android tablet) and other browsers such as Chrome. The green heading block overlaps and hide the upper part of the content block. For example, if you select inloggen (log in), then you see that the user name (naam) is not visible and only the box for the password is shown. Work around: Right click on the header and select Inspect. In the Inspector (html column) select the header tag. In the Inspector (css column) uncheck in the '.header.--fixed' selector the line 'position: fixed;' Now the content block shifts down and all content is visible. Can you verify / fix that? Today, using Firefox--or at least what i think is Firefox--i checed session history while logged into my mega.nz account. It lists 2 instances, one of which is for 3 days prior when I originally set up the Mega account using the Mega app, and the other is for yesterday when I entered the account using the FF browser--or, again, what i think is the FF browser. What's curious is that it shows i was using the Chrome browser, and that I'm apparently still using this browser as it's listed as the "Current" session. How can this be? While I have the Chrome app on my phone, I disabled it long ago and have never used it, and most certainly did not use it during the time and activities in question. I have long speculated that I have been hacked and that my phone is sometimes (always?) controlled by this hacker, though no solid proof. Assuming the hacker uses Chrome, could this be reflecting their using the Chrome browser, as opposed to the FF browser, which I'm currently using (or think im using)? In other words, is this the proof of a hack? Or is this a glitch within Mega, mistakingly listing Chrome as my browser?

I just moved to a new computer. Still using the latest version of Firefox (145.x). But of course I have a much higher rez screen. So I'm looking at many more bookmarks across the menu bar, and they are all very small. As are the tabs at the top of the window. I can not find a way to make these larger in Settings. Grok tells me to work with CSS in the profiles folder, but that doesn't seem to work. (And I bet that every time a new version came out, I'd have to move or remake that CSS file and/or folder.) Is this just the way it is on the high-rez screen, or can someone point me to a solution?

When I send an email the recipient receives lots of information above the email. It seems to show all the security paths the email has gone through. It goes on and on. I have gone in to View and set Headers to Normal. But doesn't really work. If I Forward an email again all the information appears that the recipient does not need to know. HELP! If I delete the information I get rows and rows of lines.

Evil Corp (aka Microsoft) updated my Windows 11 PC from 24H2 to 25H2 and now I cannot access quite a few websites (i.e. Amazon, Bank!, etc.) and some take a long time to load (surprisingly, my Firefox Home page...Google...also takes a while to load) . I searched the internet and found many so called fixes and most are very complicated and many contradict others. A lot of them say to disable DNS and reset network stack (using the command prompt) which I do not know how to do even though I worked in the tech business for 40 yrs (mainly data networking)...I retired 20 yrs ago...so I'm old...so I'm not as savvy with computers as I used to be. I tried changing a few Firefox settings, but nothing worked, so I changed them back to the original settings that worked before the update. If someone could give me detailed (and hopefully simple) instructions to resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm am in a bind, so a timely response would be great. I opened a profile that I had just used recently to a blank tab bar. I closed it and the sessionstore-backup folder did not have a recent backup, The most recent about a week old.

Just for testing, I tried to restore with one of the upgrade.jsonlz4 file, about 2 weeks old, but it also had no session. I then restored one that was 2 months old. That one had a session

Now, Firefox no longer generates the upgrade.jsonlz4 files
