The latest version (78.6.1(32 bit) installed today) appears to have introduced a bug in the Today Pane Task List. For tasks which regularly repeat (eg monthly/quarterly/annually) the task list now shows (in red) every previous occurrence even though they are historic and have been ticked off as completed

After the install of 78.6.1 (32-bit) on January 13 completed tasks are displayed. Yesterday I completed tasks from Jan 1 to Jan 13. Today they are all re-displayed in the Task panel/tab along with today's tasks. Help please.

A piece of software I need to use for work requires an older version of Firefox (Firefox 68.4.2 ESR) to run, so in the past, I've had to delete Firefox and re-download the older version which has worked fine. However, I recently got a new Mac and now when I try the same thing it's not working. Whenever I first open Firefox after downloading it, it opens as the correct (older) version, however it does not seem to be able to connect to the internet and I get the spinning wheel that never ends, and then whenever I close out of Firefox and reopen it, it automatically updates to the newest version. I have multiple times gone into the settings on Firefox and changed my preferences to check with me before installing updates and I've gone into the settings of the App Store to make sure it's not automatically updating any apps or programs. My computer is currently running OS version 11.1 (Big Sur) and I'm wondering if maybe this version is too new to be compatible with Firefox 68 ESR? Any help, ideas, or advice is greatly appreciated!

I'm trying to import a PGP that was "discovered" from the mail message. It shows the key ID but does not matter if I click Accepted or Not Accepted it still comes back with the same "no keys imported" message.

I have not been able to send or receive emails from one of my 3 email accounts for 2 months. AT&T webmail works. This is the message I am getting: Sending of password for user [email]@att.net did not succeed. Mail server inbound.att.net responded: Server error - Please try again later. I cam not take a screenshot.

I have been using Thunderbird forever and for some reason today when it opened. The tasks section of the Today Pane shows the tasks repeatedly mutliple times. When I try to select them to show them completed and have them not show up. They end up coming back. What can I do and why did this start today. I do see that it must have done an update today to 78.6.1

Firefox said the browser was running slow and suggested I fix it .. it removed some items including True Key. I can not find any was to put True Key's extension in Firefox. Firefox is not unusable for me.

I was running Thunderbird 78.6.0 (Windows 10) without any issues. Performed the automatic upgrade to 78.6.1 - after restart all my recurring tasks (from as far back as 2013) have been marked "not completed".

Is this a known issue? How do I resolve?

BTW - I reverted back to 78.6.0 and the symptoms went away. However, after auto-update to 78.6.1 again, the issue reappeared, and is now present even when regressing back to 78.6.0.

This is a odd one. i know it has work before , i have use Firefox for many years. so something most have change this.

and i know it did work from the past, because i know i have tested with it, but i bet a update or something cause Firefox to do this.

the bandwide is there , its just Firefox that half the speed in the Browser. this is not even about slow , but i bet other firefox user will not know that, and problem is also when did this happend, before it was show in the browser.

I’m trying to figure out how to login into my Firefox account through the echo show. I want to link the accounts so I can find something on my iPhone and “send to device” echo show. Currently when I try to send it it says “you don’t have any devices connected to this Firefox account. All my research as came up with is I might have to sign into the Firefox on echo show but there is no option to sign into my Firefox account? Please help.

I refreshed my browser (84.0.2) 64bit, and now I can't save passwords because when I try I get a popup asking for a lockwise password. I have not implemented lockwise so what do I have to do to get rid of the popup?

Cannot create webpage shortcuts to add to my Home Screen from iOS. Is there another way to do this? I see a Support article for Android, but nothing for iOS. Need this as we access sites instead of downloading apps, but creating shortcuts to those sites on the home screen makes it quick access, like an app would be. Thanks and love the browser!!

Hi I am running Firefox version 84.0.2 on Windows 10 (Build 19042) - Desktop mode I like to use my computer with a mouse only and I use the built in Windows 10 touch keyboard when I need to type something.

My problem is that every time I click on the touch keyboard button (lower right corner of Windows 10) when in Firefox, the touch keyboard opens and then automatically closes. I think this is a problem with Firefox because the touch keyboard works fine in Edge as well as Notepad and other applications

The message that appears under ui.osk.debug.keyboardDisplayReason is the following ui.osk.debug.keyboardDisplayReason - IKPOS: Touch screen not found.

If anyone knows how to fix this, please help

Installation of Thunderbird 78.6.1 disabled Lightning Calendar connection with Google. Provider for google Calendar is operational, No Lightning updates are compatible with this version (I understand Lightning might be included in the Tb download (?), but the only solution was to reinstall Thunderbird 78.6.0 and then all was well again. Help Please. Or is this subject for a bug report?

Hello: Since my last update Thunderbird has gone wonky on me. After updating to 78 I lost all mailboxes and address book etc. Thunderbird help said to go back one version, and when I did that, I got a message that my profile had been modified and that I should only use the new version. I tried that, as well as several versions, but no luck. I tried "-allow-downgrade" and that didn't work. I finally downloaded Beta 79 and tried "-allow-downgrade" and everything came back. But of course none of my third party add-ons (send later, templates) would work. Then today when I started Thunderbird all but two messages in my Inbox were gone. I tried to rebuild the index but my Inbox is still empty. My profile file says that my inbox is 20gigs. And Ive tried to backup my profile (and even make a zip file) but I guess it's just too big cause he process craps out. Please help me.

I am experiencing a conflict when using my Gmail account with Thunderbird. The error message is login to smtp.gmail.com server using rjasbra95@gmail.com failed. Enter new password.

I have changed the password multiple times in Gmail and tried each new password in Thunderbird. How do I recover or change the saved password on the smtp.gmail.com server? No problems with Gmail on my IPhone and iPad. Thanks.
