In the firefox browser I am looking to set how many lines scroll up or down on a page.
I would like to know where in the settings page I can go to adjust the amount of lines that scroll up or down at a time?

Today, randomly, duck duck go no longer works natively with Firefox. If I set DDG as my default search, and try to search using the search bar or use one of the shortcuts like "@ddg" I get an error "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." I have tried closing, clearing cache, clearing history, and nothing seems to reset it. I can still go through Google, search for duck duck go, and use it that way, but it seems that the native search is now broken.

I'm a long-time user of Thunderbird (decades) but haven't been a big fan of the preview pane. That's just me. However, with the advent of Supernova, I decided to turn on the preview pane particularly since you added the Card View feature. I use the "Vertical" layout with folders, messages and then the preview pane on the right.
Perhaps I'm just not in the know but is there an ability to open a message in a new tab from the preview pane? I looked at customizing the toolbars but didn't find an "Open" message button. I thought that double-clicking in the preview pane would open the message in a new tab but alas it doesn't do anything. I also right-clicked in the preview pane and there was no option on that menu to open the message either.
Even though I use my 55" TV for my monitor, I don't give the preview pane 100% capability to view the entire width of a message because I want to see more of the subject in the message column and a complete date and time. It's very clear that not all messages are created equally so some wrap and fit nicely and other won't wrap and the slider bars appear. I'm good with how this works. So when I'm using the slider bars in the preview pane there are times I want to open the message in a new tab to more readily read the larger message. I hope this makes sense. Thus my need to be able to open a message from the preview pane either by double-clicking or by using a button in the preview pane. And, BTW, my "General" settings are set to open a message in a new tab when double-clicked. I prefer to work from tabs (another very nice feature!).
If this feature doesn't exist then I would appreciate it if you would consider adding it and a button at the top of the preview pane panel to open a message in a new tab.
I'll look forward to your reply.
Kindest regards,

"Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.onlineviolintutor.com. Peer received a valid certificate, but access was denied. Error code: SSL_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED_ALERT"
I tried on several different browsers and always get the same error message. I'm trying to access this website link so I can download one page of sheet music.
Can you help me figure out what's going wrong?
Thanks, Sheila

I use to be able to open a new Tab and automatically get the home page to appear, now it seems that I either get a generic Firefox home page or a blank one. This is not what I want nor need, if it was I would have chosen it. What is the point of having a home page if you cannot use it??? Having the home page icon now becomes a special icon for a page one just likes to use every time they open a new tab that you have to click on every time you need it. It just happens to be EVERY TIME I open a new tab.
Thanks for your help.

I'm locked out of my Firefox account. I set my previous employer's email address (sean-mccleery@cdolinc.net) as my primary email address, and my personal email address (smccleery@gmail.com) as a secondary email address. I attempted to reset my password using the password reset email that was sent to my secondary email address, but after I enter a new password twice and submit it the page reloads with the following error message:
Your email was just returned. Mistyped email?
I'm sure my previous employer has an out-of-office email setup to indicate that I no longer work there. Is there anyway to resolve the issue without asking my previous employer if they can turn off Out-of-office replies temporarily?
Thank you, Sean

After a Firefox restart for a version upgrade, there are 8 windows listed in the Windows menu, but only 4 are visible. Trying to select one of the invisible windows from the window menu, or cycling through open windows with cmd-` displays nothing. I tried checking other desktops to see if the windows had landed there, but they're not. The missing windows don't show up in Mission Control.
I also tried exiting FIrefox, deleting the xulstore.json file, and restarting. This had no effect.
I'm on a 2021 M1 Max MacBook Pro Firefox 117.0.1 Mac OS 13.5.2 (22G91)
Any ideas? This is a weird one.
Thanks!

In case this is not possible, could the devs please consider adding this option? SRGB piecewise function is not appropriate for LCD displays with contrast ratios below 2000:1.

Several attributes disappeared with latest updates introducing supernova. I've found the CSS code #toolbar-menubar{order:-1 !important;} added to userChrome.css works to move the Menu bar to the top. I've tried several examples of CSS code to set tree rows eg Inbox to display alternate rows background white/grey, however, none seem to work. Any suggestions? Thank-you.
How to remove these 4 headers?

I have tried setting it up in vertical mode, to make it easier to read pdfs and to write. And ideally, to make it easier to avoid sidebars and/or move them away above the main content where they're less likely to trigger as many @##$% migraines.
I've noticed that most websites are designed for the horizontal layout. Elements disappear off the right edge, sometims with a horizontal scrollbar to reach them, sometimes without. Is there a trick to get miost or all websites to fit?
I use about:config fixes, add-ons, and user css to try to increase font sizes, switch colors, block animation, and reduce frame rates to completely block "smooth" animation. I can't do without these, so I don't think I could adapt the mobile version to my needs.
I've noticed *many* other problems in other apps, but if I can get all these websites working in Firefox, I can probably sort out the other problems elsewhere.

Recently I have been unable to send email from Thunderbird although I can still receive email in Thunderbird. I get the following error message:
"The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.comcast.net was lost in the middle of the transaction.Try again."
However, I can send email when I log into my Comcast email account from a web browser (Firefox). Therefore, when I called Comcast, they insisted the problem in Thunderbird or some other app. I doubt that, however, because a local tech support company took my PC and did the following to troubleshoot the problem:
- They tried using an email client other than Thunderbird and still could not send email and got the same error. - They deleted my email account in Thunderbird, uninstalled Thunderbird, and then reinstalled Thunderbird and added my email account but was unable to send email and got the same error message. - They installed Thunderbird on a different PC and added my email account but was unable to send email and got the same error message. - They checked the third-party setting for accessing Comcast email and it was set correctly as Security->Third party access.
Here's my configuration. I've also attached screen shot of my Thunderbird settings.
• My mail provider: Comcast
• ISP: Comcast
• Firewall version and antivirus software: Kapersky Total Security version 21.3.10.391
• OS: Windows 10 Home version 22H2
