Getting a weird issue. When I open Firefox Beta, if it is not already running it loses focus on Firefox and pops open the Google Play Store over the top of Firefox on its Firefox Beta page. It's doing this consistently and repeatably. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy A52 5G on the latest update of Android 14.

Mozilla has announced that:

> Beginning with Firefox 144, the minimum supported Android version will increase to 8.0 (Oreo)

Where can we download version 143 to install on older devices (Android 5 to 7) from now on?

I've tried disabling it with the secret menu and it makes no difference. Seeing as Mozilla don't give a singular toss about the needs of their neurodivergent users I want to install an old version of firefox for android with a version of the UI that doesn't make me want to self harm. I know how to disable android updates but not install an old version safely. How do I do this?

Attached a screenshot of the new UI. As an aside if anyone can recommend the drugs that the people who designed and approved this ugly tosh are on I'd love to know what they are, must be good stuff for them all to make decisions this asinine.

I'm using Fennec Firefox on mobile and I'm having this problem where my the page refreshes on the slightest touch. I'd like to turn this gesture off all together. I have done some research and found this code: document.addEventListener('touchstart', function(event) {

I don't know anything about java or python, so if someone could give me a hint or point me in the right direction that would be helpful. I am also looking through the source code of Firefox looking for answers.

The Firefox homepage is constantly broadcasting privacy incentives and ways we can donate to improve a free web, yet they need the permission to access my camera, mic, files and so on in exchange for the use of their program? I find this very contradictory, and would love to hear more from Firefox. I understand that certain permissions are necessary but i find the request for these things to be intrusive and upsetting when it's coming from a company that pats itself on the back when it comes to privacy and the fight for a free and open Internet.

Please at least provide the option to turn permissions that aren't necessary for the operation of Firefox on Android, off. Camera and mic, are not integral parts of my web search past time and therefore, i don't believe they are any of the Mozilla corporations interest either.

If there are ways to get back some of the privacy taken away by these requests using Android, as i understand getting away from all these permissions from every app is futile.. Please let me know. Maybe an app that retains some of these permissions, or blocks access to apps from accessing then? If there are suggestions out there I'm open to suggestions, thank you.

For some reason after an update I lost the ability to access my collections. I can add new pages to my collection but have no way to access them. The option to add it to my homepage is now gone.

How do I use tampermonkey for Torn? I have the tampermonkey file but I get a message saying I don't have an app that enables me to use tampermonkey.

Here's the thing, Firefox isn't preinstalled on any PC or Mac or iOS or Android. This is a userbase that already went out of our way to pivot from the default ecosystem to come to Firefox.

So if you keep pushing this "AI" on folks, they have already proven their ability and readiness to leave.

I've been with Firefox since the big Quantum refresh. I already know what other browsers I can migrate to. And I'm a hobbyist writer who has been one of the many victims of AI companies scraping my work for their models.

Reverse course on this AI push, or not only will I leave but everyone I chat with, every computer in my department at work, we're all out.

So, I noticed that the default font Firefox uses on Android when nothing is specified is a sans-serif font. But I would like to use serif.

I've already seen an answer to change the values of "font.name.sans-serif.x-unicode" and "font.name.sans-serif.x-western" in about:config (also "font.name.sans-serif.x-user-def", but that must have been removed, nothing shows up when I search it), but I haven't gotten it to work. I assume I'm not inputting the right value. What should I set as the value to get it to use a serif font? Or is there another way I should do this?

Hi, Since this new version of Firefox, I have been unable to use PayPal. I get a message saying ' unable to display the page if another website has embedded it' - it does this when PayPal tries to load it's one time passcode page.This is happening on multiple sites, and has only started since version 146 issue, which indicates an issue with the browser, not the website as suggested in Firefox help ?!

Windows 10 pc can not start,I have gone through automatic repair and diagnostics steps,but am now on advamced options and think I need to Reset it.This will lose Firefox.When I install it again will I be able to sign into my Firefox account to retrieve bookmarks and passwords?I am very nervous about this,don't even know how to install Firefox,as someone gave me the computer and it was already in there. I've just installed Firefox for Android (v.66.0.5) from Google Play Store onto my Samsung Galaxy S10e (running Android 9). Installed OK and browser works fine, but results will not scroll vertically or horizontally. No similar problem with other apps. Is there a bug or am I missing something ?
