When opening in Chrome, it works as always. Same computer.

Starting this morning I suddenly cant delete or mark emails as read in Outlook.live.com. Even if I open an email, and it appears as read after that, if I refresh or leave the page and come back, its marked as read again.

I tried dropping all add-ons (a kill switch to drop all add-ons and re-activate them is still a feature I feel Firefox needs, I have to click every single one of them every time) to no avail.

I was in the process of writing this question on the Microsoft forums (which is usually like whizzing in the wind) when I thought to try a different browser. I had zero issues and Outlook.live.com worked perfectly normal on Microsoft Edge.

This HAS to be a bug in a recent update in Firefox

I am running v122.0.1 on a Mac and since the last update if I open a Facebook Messenger message which pops up at the bottom of the screen clicking the minimise or close doesn't do anything and the message stays on screen The only way to get it to close is to log out of Facebook and then log back in again. Is this a bug in this release?

Majority of the songs do not play and I'm given with a pop-up, "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it."

I will play a song from a playlist and is given that pop-up, it will continue skipping to the next song until it plays, but only for 9-10 seconds until the song mutes, to specify, the dot (when hovered on the progress bar) will still move, indicating that "it's playing".

Some clarifications: 1. I use Spotify Desktop app (windows), Spotify App (android), and Spotify Webplayer on Chrome and Firefox. Everything works just as fine on all of these, except for Spotify Webplayer on Firefox. 2. Skipping to a later timestamp does not unmute the song. 2. I have Spotify Premium 3. I have no VPN 4. I am running Firefox with an ad blocker 5. I am running Chrome with an ad blocker (same ad blocker in Fifefox) 6. I am running Firefox to the latest version (Firefox 119.0.1 (20231106151204))

What I've done so far: 1. Cleared caches and data. 2. Updated my Windows to the latest update available - Win10 v.22H2 3. Signed-out of Spotify for all my devices, then logging-in first on Spotify Desktop (this automatically redirects to Firefox webplayer) 4. Ran Firefox on "Troubleshoot Mode" 5. Un-checked and re-checked "Play DRM content" setting. 6. Disabled and re-enabled the plug-in "Widevine Content Decryption Module by Google Inc". (this plug-in is last udpated on November 17, 4.10.2710.0

This issue has arisen on Firefox for Linux Mint (my current version is 123.0 (64bit)). I like Firefox, and I like its bookmarks toolbar, and have used it for many years, but there seems to be a new bug introduced today:- The bookmarks toolbar is present and correct when I start Firefox, but now it disappears as soon as I select any bookmark, or if I enter any web address or if I open a new tab. The [View >Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar > Alway Show] option is already selected, but the toolbar is no longer visible. If I click on it again, the bookmarks toolbar reappears (or I can restart Firefox, and this will also restore the toolbar). But the toolbar now disappears as soon as I use the browser in any way, and so is currently not really of practical use, as it needs constant restoring. Hope you can help resolve this. I recently lost my firefox configuration and now see the Amazon.DE search engine rather than Amazon.com. I have no idea why...

I followed assorted support guides but haven't been able to add the Amazon.com search engine: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-or-remove-search-engine-firefox#w_add-search-engines

1) I clicked the link "find more search engines": https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search-engines/. This took me to a generic list of extensions and didn't find an official amazon search option for the search bar. Those suggested had few downloads and weren't vetted by mozilla

2) I visited Amazon.com and then clicked the magnifying glass with the green plus sign in the search bar. Then tried to add amazon.com as a search engine but got this error:

Firefox could not download the search plugin from: https://d2lo25i6d3q8zm.cloudfront.net/browser-plugins/AmazonSearchSuggestionsOSD.Firefox.xml

Can someone explain how to get this working again; I just want the normal amazon.com search in the search bar

In general, getting to the "ask a question" button in the support website is like finding hens teeth.

Didn't there used to be a Discussions forum, where you could see all of the questions being asked?

Possibly there was an auto update of MOZILLA FIREFOX on our DELL LAPTOP (Windows 11). Now, we cannot get a Mozilla window to open - due to error message:

XUL Runner Error: Platform version '118.0.1' is not compatible with minVersion >= 118.0 maxVersion <=118.0

I am unable to send an email from my Thunderbird email account. I am able to receive emails. Spectrum is my ISP. They say it is a Thunderbird issue. I am getting a Spectrum error AUP#Out-1130 meaning the cmsmpt is blocked. When I am able to clear that error I get an error that it was unable to send because it timed out. It is not asking for my outgoing email password which it always has in the past. I am using Express VPN and Windows Security. I am using Thunderbird version 115.8.0. I am using Windows 10. I can send emails from the Spectum website (same email account).

I have tried disabling the Firewall and the VPN. It makes no difference with the problem of sending emails.

I am using Port 465 on my outgoing SMTP which the ISP recommends. Also SSL/TLS with normal password.

I need help be able to Send email from my Thunderbird account. The issue started about one week ago.

Thunderbird has always asked for my password to send email. It is bypassing this step. I think that it is necessary but it is bypassing this step in the process.

For context, I accidentally made my root D: folder into the downloads folder and during this time I was still able to download using firefox. But when I finally changed the folder to my default one, firefox stopped being able to download anything larger than 1gb files. I can still download small images but anything larger than that I can't download. Else, it would only just show "Failed" in the downloads bar.

I've tried: 1. Changing the download location

2. Turned off dangerous downloads 3. Putting an exception to the sites I try download from 4. Clearing the downloads 5. Tried troubleshooting mode 6. Restarting my computer 7. Restarting Firefox

I can't download on firefox but the same files I can download on Chrome.

When using private browsing window, bookmarks toolbar keeps disappearing every time I open a new tab or anything else. My setting for show bookmarks is "always show" and it works normally in a regular window. It also used to work normally in private browsing until a few days ago. Clicking "show bookmarks toolbar" works until I open any of the bookmarks, then the toolbar disappears again. How do I make the toolbar permanently visible in a private browsing window?

So a super positioned photon has a 720 degree of field displacability within its' emtiness and with its' orbitals and what-not...

But why does 4-Wheel luggage move so much more freely; it may even be in one place while maintaining the same 360 degrees of motions that a 2-Wheeled Luggage has - while it is in a fixed direction...

But they both offer the same 360 degrees of singular direction of motion...but...if you have4 Ball-Socket Joints on the bottom of the luggage, it could be going - without axle request-response reisistancant-fixation...; in spirals about the axis which it is also 360 degree traveling in...it could cover double the distance, while only traveling half the actual linear distance...

P.S. I found a glitch as I typed this - If you "Copy Image," you can Click "Add Image," then "Paste," the Image , successfully - it appeared on the display within that Folder...now it is on My desktop, but it fails to Upload, I can go and repaste - ACTUALLY replacing it on my Desktop...but it fails...


AHHHH unsupported Image Type...

You all could totally allow me to upload into an HTML6 Canvas with WASM, which I would suggest Simply Strips out the Color Positional Data; Storing it as a Binary Format - and then when you go to Display it; simply Read that Fetched Binary into a Linear Memory Sequence, as SetPixel Commands into the Canvas API...You do not REALLY need the WASM...But WebAssembly! (I guess it was the File Type.)

Hi Everyone: This is the first time I've ever gone to a "community" to ask for help. Please bear with me. I'm pretty simple minded and I am not a computer person. I was very happy with the old format. I would start an email, with another person or persons, and if the general topic was the same (such as a project I was working on with 1-2 people) I would use the "reply" or "reply all" to continue this string of e-mails. The recent changes now bring up different "tabs" at the top of the screen. This is very confusing and shows a series of emails that are generally not relevant to what needs to be addressed. It also does not always show who the current email is actually coming from. My question is: How can I go back to the old format. I found it simpler, easy to use, and more succinct.

Thunderbird 115.2.0 on Windows 11. User idiocy not ruled out.

Very often when I'm composing an e-mail and swap between windows, ctrl-V to paste doesn't work, but instead sets variable width. (The nearest reference I find online is Ctrl-T to set fixed width.) Thunderbird seems not to remember when I come back to the window that I'm in the composition pane/message pane/ bit where you type the message.

It's almost as if it defaults to the formatting bit of the screen. Except that I've _only_ noticed that arising with pasting; and I do switch between programs for other purposes, so if it were really that, even an idiot user would surely have noticed odd behaviour at other times. (Never underestimate idiocy.)

It's annoying that I can't routinely switch between programs and paste *into the text box I'd just been typing in before switching*. The real problem, though, is that I can click or double-click repeatedly in the message pane of the composition window, moving the cursor between clicks in a hopeful fashion, and still not get the desired result - Thunderbird seems determined that I really want to change formatting and nothing else. So far, right-clicking to paste does work, once I remember it - but 20-odd years of habit are working against me, as is the fact that sometimes ctrl-V does do what I expect first time, so I'm not retraining my habits very well and can take about 5 steps to achieve a simple copy-paste.

No similar problems using Word, etc. I have only recently learned of the wizardry that is ctrl-shift-V, and have never remembered to use it unless reminded by unwanted formatting, so can't swear to its behaviour.

I have tbkeys lite, and can't claim to understand what I'm doing with it, but I can usually follow simple instructions without excessive sobbing. I'd happily disable all formatting functions, if that was necessary, since I send only plain text.
