WHERE to key security code? What Page? Heading? NOTHING on any of those pages indicate "Key security code HERE." I GVE up! I have been round & round & canNOT get a response from the email that SHOULD give this information.

Today I went to TikTok, was using it earlier in the day also, when it showed me logged out and when I go to log in using my email, a windows security pop up shows, saying that I should insert my security key into the USB, something I don't have, and that this is being asked because of Firefox, which I can click cancel, but when I try to sign in with my email, I can't seem to, the password doesn't seem to be working, and can't sign in with the QR code through the phone which connects with the app. Still signed in just fine on Chrome and the app on my phone, so not sure what is up, as that shows my password should be fine due to neither of those logging me out if my password had been changed.

That I changed one thing yesterday related to something "secure", was that I enabled SecureBoot in BIOS, because games like Battlefield require it now for the anti-cheat and I'm curious if this has somehow affected this in some way as that's the only thing that changed recently for me.

I have a fingerprint scanner and a slot for a security key, but I have never used a security key, either in the slot or a USB plugin.

When I try to go to Gmail, I enter my gmail address, and then Firefox pops up a screen wanting me to insert my security key, and there are no buttons to change how I verify my identity.

I've hunted all around for what setting in Firefox is causing it, but no luck so far. Ideas?

To sign into my Amazon account, I'd like to enter only my email address and my password.

But I have to enter my email address and my passkey. A verification code is then sent to my email address. I then need to enter that verification code to complete signing into Amazon.

On the Amazon's Sign in page (where I enter my passkey), it says "This request comes from the app 'firefox.exe' by "Mozilla Corporation".

How do I disable the two-factor (aka two-step) authentication for Amazon in Firefox?

'Gmail continues to require 2-step verification when I sign into one of my gmail accounts. I cannot seem to turn this off, even though I've turned off 2-Step verification on my Google account. Is Firefox part of this situation?

I am having trouble setting up Two-step authentication.

After I scan the QR code and enter the code, I am presented with below error: Incorrect two-step authentication code

I first tried scanning the QR code using Microsoft Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried scanning a new QR codeGoogle Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried to manually enter the secret key into Google Authenticator app, which also did not work. I then tried scanning another new QR code with the Twilio Authy Authenticator app, which also did not work.

Can anyone help to resolve?

I'm keep receiving mails to verify my account, when I open the link, it redirects me to my Mozilla account but everything seems to be in order and y don't want my account to be deleted. How am I supposed yo verify it? I have Two-step authentication, the Account recovery key, a Secondary email and I even singed in several devices.

Just to be extra safe I tried using my account recovery key and it told me it was invalid. I was luckily only testing and am still signed in, so I made a new key, and copy pasted it directly from where I made it, and it still told me the key was invalid.

Seems bad.
