I signed into my firefox account on my wife's computer and now ALL of her bookmarks, passwords are mixed in with my data. I've signed out of both accounts on that computer. I've signed out and relogged in on my computer. This is not a temporary issue. All of her data is somehow in my account. This seems like a MAJOR security flaw of the software. Were both using Windows 11 computers.

During the last desktop update I lost all of my bookmarks. I’ve tried to sync between my iPhone and desktop but when I finally got paired nothing happened with the sync from my phone to desktop

I am unable to send tabs from my desktop devices to Firefox on my Android device.

- All devices are logged into Firefox Sync. - Sending tabs from Android to desktop works fine. - Attempting to send a tab from desktop to Android, nothing happens. Have tried with multiple different tabs from multiple desktop devices, it never makes it to my Android device. - Synced tabs works fine. I can see the open tabs on all my devices from all my other devices, and it stays up to date. - Have tried logging out of sync and logging back in. Didn't fix the issue.

Desktop devices are running Firefox v146.0.1 on Windows Android device is running v146.0.1 on Android 16 (Pixel 8 Pro)

Hello, I just completed a wipe of my whole device, beforehand I obviously signed up and synced up my Firefox account to keep my boomarks and data. After reinstalling Firefox I managed to sign in, sync up and get my bookmarks back - great. However after reopening of the app they were gone again and when checking back-ups the only available one was from after the "automatic wipe". I quickly checked my mobile Firefox app as well - it still showed a bigger of number of bookmarks so I had hoped they stayed at least there but after entering the folder they appeared empty and then gone completely after re-entering. Please if possible assist, it seems like Firefox decided to overwrite this data so maybe it's still somehow recoverable as these bookmarks have been collected over the years. Thank you in advance.

After a few days of having no internet connection, my account was disconnected from my PC and saved passwords disappeared. After signing in to my account again and syncing, lost passwords were not recovered. I need help to recover them.

Desktop browser: no Bookmarks Phone browser: Bookmarks Goal: Sync phone browser Bookmarks to desktop browser Bookmarks. Danger: backup Bookmarks before Sync syncs wrong way and no data wipes data device.

Desktop browser sync prompt is wrong: Menu -> tap Sync and save data -> tap Ready to Scan -> scan desktop Firefox QR code -> Pairing unsuccessful. Try again. OK

Here's the correct steps: Sync your Firefox experience -> tap I already have Firefox for mobile -> tap Continue -> Sync Firefox on your phone or tablet -> open Firefox 144.1 (62735) on phone -> tap Menu (3 dots at bottom) -> tap Settings -> tap Sync Now -> desktop Firefox -> open new Tab -> Bookmarks appear -> right click Import bookmarks from another browser to Firefox -> tap Remove from Toolbar.

I think Firefox won’t load because I have duck duck go on iOS. I am trying to perform the sync option offered by Firefox. I am unable to use the camera within the app for the QR code but duck duck go comes up. What should I do next?

My account won't sync my old passwords and browser history. I recently reinstalled windows and when I tried to sign in to my mozilla account my data wasn't there.

I use Firefox as my default browser for my PC, Mac and Android phone. Suddenly, all of my bookmarks and home screen shortcuts have disappeared... I'm guessing after an update. I'm also guessing I'm not the first person with this issue I have tried syncing multiple times as well as uninstall and reinstall... Nothing, they are all gone. They are all still there on my PC versions. Can't find any tab for bookmark backups, Can you help me get these back?

sync between Android pad and Win desktop only works occasionally. says "last sync nn hours ago" for a long time but then syncs regularly. this used to work in earlier versions

When I choose add new device the website displays 2 choices: mobile with installed Firefox app or need to download the app.

I chosed mobile with installed app then the website return to this main page without show the QR to scan from app.

Now, I logged in using email on my Android mobile and failed to sync my web browser profile..

I have a profil i didn't use since 22 days because computer issues

I need to retrieve ALL my tabs from this device For some issues i could'nt to it all before.

Now, i can see in my firefox profil pge, the profil exist. But if i go to my firefox installed in my new computer, i don't see THIS firefox device with ALL my VERY IMPORTANT tabs.

Is there any way to retrieve them ?

I've recently upgraded from an a34 to an a56, both phones running the same build of Firefox, both signed into my account however the old phone can see the tabs of my laptop and the new phone, the new phone can't see anything. I'd like to be able to port the tabs over ideally.

Also of note is the tab view is totally different between the two phones in layout too.

I'm at a loss as to how I can painlessly move over the tabs.

I have about a dozen computers synced to Firefox. The Bookmarks go nuts when an older seldom used machine powers up. I spend days cleaning out my bookmarks only to have old ones come roaring back. I have began manually backing my bookmarks up to a hard drive. Firefox has failed me. I wish to delete all, or some of the backed up bookmark files.

How do I do that!!! I've spent hours over weeks online trying to stop this madness. Can I wipe out all the files by deleting any of the three "places.sqlite files? Is there a way to selectively kill the very large files that keep coming back and keep the other recent backups?

Does someone sell a pay to play bookmark manager similar to Foxmarks / xmarks?

Hi, i synced everything, in your browser, checked it few times, i had all my bookmarks from chrome to firefox few months ago, reinstalled windows, downloaded firefox and connected to account its clean, no of my information is there, wtf? i forgot the password, so recovered it. Give back my data for fuck sake, or it was mistake comming from chrome to firefox?

I was advised by ESET to change my Facebook password, which I have done on my desktop. The new password was successfully saved to Firefox Password Manager. My Android phone is SYNCed to the desktop, but Facebook on my phone refuses to accept the new password.

I synced my data today in mozilla and after that i reinstalled windows on my PC. now i installed fresh mozilla and logged in into my account but my data is not synced... i lost a lot of open tabs,bookmarks etc... what can i do? is synced version still somewhere or what? i did everything as i supposed to do but i cant see my previous open tabs and bookmarks..

Yesterday I only change the photo in my Firefox profile. Today I can't log-in to synchronize my account. When I click on "Anmelden" (German for "log-in") at the top right corner, a new tab opens, I can enter my e-mail adress, klick onto the button "Anmelden oder registrieren" (German for "log-in or register") it fades out and nothing else happens. I can access my account here as I logged in to send this message. What is the issue? How can I start synchronizing my account again? My Firefox version is 146.0 Thanks in advance, Chris
