Hello!
Firefox on Android won't display pop-ups. I've checked privacy setting but there's no checkbox for a popup blocker. Also tried about:config but didn't find any setting to change. Any ideas on how to be sure Firefox is comfigured to allow popups? I participate on a Zoom webinar and can't start Zoom through Firefox so have to use Chrome.
Thanks!

Long time Firefox user on Linux. Password manager has never saved passwords, but I just lived with it. Recently, I tried setting a primary password, and now I can't log in to eBay, or Mozilla. On eBay, I type my user ID and the continue button is greyed out. On Mozilla, now I get "Local storage and cookies are required", but I DO have them turned on. I tried to change/set the Primary Password, and I get "Unable to change Primary Password". Is there a file protection/privilege problem? How can I track this down? Thanks, Jon

An error occurred during a connection to app. You are attempting to import a cert with the same issuer/serial as an existing cert, but that is not the same cert.

You don't indicate what or where this certificate is coming from for any forum user to know what is happening or why it's not being recognized by the browser.

Hello. How do I tell Firefox when I wish to access a website that it isn't letting me access? There is no way to do this, that I can see. I'm getting a "Hmm. We're having trouble finding that site." error. I get this periodically & wish there was a "give permission" button right there. It's for a subscription renewal screen, in this case. I've already tried my internet security software plus my VPN, nothing. Thank you.

Hi there,
I'm a first-time user of Thunderbird and I really like its functionality and interface, however, I can't succeed at adding my Google accounts - every time I get a message one of the following messages: "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead" or "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue. Thunderbird detected a potential security threat and did not continue to accounts.google.com because this web site requires a secure connection."
I tried changing the configs but nothing works. Could you please assist on this?
Thank you for your cooperation! Best regards, Mirela

I am interested in your VPN, and also have Malwarebytes and uBlock. Do I use all 3 products or get rid of everything but Mozilla VPN?

Hi folks,
I've been using Thunderbird successfully with my Earthlink email for a couple of months (Windows 10)
Today suddenly, sending stopped working. Here's the error message:
Sending of the message failed. The Outgoing server (SMTP) smtpauth.earthlink.net does not support the selected authentication method. Please change the 'Authentication method' in 'Account Settings | Outgoing Server (SMTP)
I have the correct settings for Earthlink (STARTTLS, port 587), and sending has been fine until today.
When it first happened, I rebooted the PC and then it started working again.
Trying again later, it stopped being able to send.
Someone posted that the issue can be solved by sending and receiving insecurely, but that is not a solution!
I was also using Encrypted Password with no problem, and today that started causing an error message, forcing me to reset to Normal Password.

Second: Your browser is being managed by your organization. That is not true. There is no organization, there never has been, I'm retired and this is home use desktop running Windows 10 and no one but me has EVER managed Firefox and I've used this browser, though no longer as my default, since it first became available. So why does it think anyone but me controls anything about it?

Firefox was working well on HTTP websites until a few days ago, but now HTTPS-Only Mode seems to be permanent. Despite changing settings to 'Don’t enable HTTPS-Only Mode', when HTTP sites are selected I get the same message as for 'HTTPS-Only Mode'. Also, if I select 'Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in all windows' and add exceptions, I get the same result.
Despite the fact that I unchecked "Open previous windows and tabs", Firefox always opens them.
Every time I open Firefox its keep forgetting my google account. I tried every solution available on web but not a single one help me.

Thunderbird (up to date version, release channel) is configured to log in to my e-mail server, hosted remotely, and download my mail. Password manager no longer 'remembers' my password and I have to manually enter it from the list of saved passwords even if I select to have password manager remember the password.
Bug?
How to retrieve my password which worked before?
