I think the virus is back, it interferesbwhen typing, it's stopping my smaller antivirusles from working properly, it keeps turning the VPN off, it's blocking my internal and using my pin card! And I'm blocked from my Amazon account because chrome went to buy something! I've had this virus before so you must have a report number about it, it's very clever but I'm fed up fighting it now, been going on for months and theres nothing wrong with my phone, but starting to think about getting another, this annoys me every day!

Going to full screen on YouTube (and other video websites) usually breaks the Firefox app on pixel 7 pro. It keeps playing but just closes and can't be reopened. I have to stop the app, open it again, and try again. Does anyone know how to fix this?

When I am watching videos in the firefox app, about 70 percent of the time I go fullscreen to watch the video, it will close the app. Not crash, but leave, like I'm hitting the home button. This has been going on for a long time now. Last time I asked for assistance I got "Have you tried closing your other tabs?". I have 12 tabs open. I never have this issue with any other browser. I have 30 tabs open in chrome, with no issues.

I'm trying to add a new Google Gmail account I just recently created to my iOS 17 iPhone 13Pro Gmail app and it's telling me I need to use a browser that has JavaScript enabled. I'm using Firefox as my default browser. How do I enable JavaScript so that Google will let me add my new email account?

For awhile now since I last updated the android app it's started freezing after awhile when I try to open a new tab or type in the address bar. Sometimes it looks like it's opening a new tab but it's just a duplicate of a different tab then it freezes. Restarting the app makes it work again but it won't remember the last thing I was doing and the history shows up entirely blank. Even closing the app before it freezes it won't remember what I just had open

Why won't web pages show in dark mode and are still white. So far the only browser I have seen that will also darken a web page is the standard Samsung browser. Love Firefox on my computer but on a tablet the darkening of web pages from the bright white is crucial. How can this be fixed?

In the dark theme mode, there seems to be an issue with the animation when long-pressing the Tab. However, in the light theme mode, the animation works fine

About half a year ago, there was a problem with parts of webpages being blocked out by rectangles in background colour on some Android devices. As I understand it, that was a problem with hardware optimization on Adreno 308 GPUs, as my phone has. The problem was fixed in 116.

Now, in 121 (and possibly earlier), the problem is back on my phone with this GPU.

E. g. on https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ForgottenTrope, there is a white block in the second paragraph, hiding a part starting with the second half of the second line and two lines more. The text becomes visible line by line when I zoom in.

I found an entry in bugzilla, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1843749, which seems to pertain to the problem. It was closed with the fix in 116. I guess it needs to be reopened, or a new one referencing this one?

What can I do to set the wheels in motion so the problem will be solved once again?

I'm facing a severe battery drain issue that occurs with all of the current Firefox versions for Android (Stable, Beta, Nightly). I have noticed that the problem mainly arises when I have played any type of video through the browser, such as a YouTube video or any auto-playing html video through a website. And I don't mean that the battery drain occurs WHILE I have the browser open, I mean in the background, after I have exited Firefox. I have also installed GSAM battery monitor with the necessary ADB battery stats permission given, and it seems that the "Video On" wakelock is always on with Firefox. It's like that the thread that plays the video has not stopped, even if I have force closed Firefox, and killed the video tab. For example, I'm attaching two screenshots from the battery monitor, where I have previously opened Firefox and played a video for like 15 seconds (see the "Audion On"), then immediately closed all the tabs and force closed the application. As you can see, the "Video On" has not stopped, like the "Audio On" wakelock, and continues to count (35 minutes). This may go on forever, such as if I leave the phone at night, I'll wake up the next day with Firefox video wakelock displaying something like 15 hours of playback (something that of course, is not true). The only way to stop the drain, is to restart the phone and not open Firefox.

Though, the issue may not even be related with video playback. I have read in the forums (like here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1432706) that other people are facing this issue as well, and worked around it by not using Firefox as the default browser. I have not tried it but, even if it works, this is not at all convenient. Since updating to Android 14, I have had this issue twice now. I notice that my phone has way less battery than normal at the end of the day. When I check what has used all of the battery, I see that firefox has used over 10% with only like 3 minutes of screen on time. Reinstalling the app seems to fix it, but I don't want to keep reinstalling.

i have a mozilla account. I am pretty sure I am logged in on both desktop, laptop and android.

no matter what I do, the "sync and save data"option on android does not appear. when I view the qr code on my android galaxy a14 5g android version 13 it takes me to the google play store where my choices are open or uninstall. when I tap open, it asks "do you want to leave firefox?". google play screen re-appears. 2nd time I tap to open, it just displays the url and android browser is blank. mzl.la/3NDxAIS
