Okay, i have been using librewolf for awhile now since i got my desktop fully built. today i went to go search something related to my phone and instead of using duckduckgo it automatically used Google. i do not want this and have no idea how to fix it

I am writing to report an issue with the page frequently auto-refreshing. This feature causes a significant disruption, especially when I am in the middle of entering information into data fields, such as forms, passwords, or One-Time Passwords (OTPs).

Every time the page automatically refreshes, all the data I have input is lost, forcing me to restart the process from the very beginning. This happens repeatedly and is extremely frustrating.

I request that this auto-refresh functionality be disabled. It would be much better if the refresh action could only be initiated manually by the user. This would ensure that data being entered remains intact without interruptions that cause the process to restart.

An 81 year old not as savvy as I was, very long time user of Firefox on mac and android phones. Just purchased new Samsung Galaxy A16 SM-A165F/DS. Two problems, 1. even setting Firefox as default browser in mac and phone it goes straight to Google and 2. Snapchat suddenly appeared on the phone every time I accessed Firefox and because I do not have an account without signing up I cannot get rid of Snapchat. Help please...

I'd like to ask about Firefox's behavior and settings. I'm using Firefox with vertical tabs (using an add-on), but it seems to be behaving strangely. The things that have changed since before are: 1. Open from pinned tab 2. Now opens in a new tab → Previously it opened in the same tab 3. Clicking on a newly opened tab opens a new tab again → Previously it would open pinned tabs/same tabs → in a new tab It has changed. I haven't changed any of my Firefox settings. Windows 11 Home 23H2 Firefox version 139.0.4 (64-bit).

On certain websites , the audio and video still auto play even though the option, "AutoPlay" is blocked for both audio and video.

Please see the attached screenshot which shows that auto play is blocked, it is circled in red. While the video has auto played, circled in orange with a timestamp of 17 seconds being played prior to it being manually stopped.

Please fix this issue.

I need to enlarge the font on the bookmarks toolbar as I have a visual impairment. I can find ideas for the regular toolbar, but not for the bookmarks toolbar...oh, and I am working on a Mac.

Why have ratings of reviews on Amazon disappeared and how do I restore that feature? I do not see a price tag in the upper righthand corner. I'm running Firefox on a PC w/Windows 10.

Hello, after a power cut I lost all my bookmarks. When I try "Manage Bookmarks -> Import and Backup -> Restore -> Choose File..." nothing happens.

In the folder ".mozilla/firefox/6924v31j.default-1728390329118/bookmarkbackups" there are several backup files, but the newest has the date Jun 25, though the name suggests it's from Jul 2: -rw-r--r-- 23850 Jun 25 13:07 'bookmarks-2025-07-02_184_mg1znof1NbBiyJ14ZcO9SluvTvLZI-rxPSm20YZUJww=.jsonlz4'

In the directory ".mozilla/firefox/6924v31j.default-1728390329118" there is also places.sqlite from Jul 4 11:59 (that was the moment when the power was cut).

How can I restore my bookmarks?

Hello, Thanks for taking your time to help me with an internet page problem. The pages load but when using the cursor to select an option, I must reload the page using the circle with an arrow icon almost every time. Never happened before and it's annoying. I left a review and was asked to post this here so here goes. Firefox on android is currently the highest user of power on my Google Pixel 8 android phone. From the battery usage data (since last full charge) Firefox has used: Screen time: 2hrs 33mins Background: 5hrs 46mins Totalling 19% battery usage. Even though I turned OFF allow app to run in background!! Before I turned this off, the battery usage was similar. In comparison: WhatsApp -the next highest- is: Screen time: 1hr 42mins Background: 17hrs 52mins Totalling 14% battery usage. With allow app to run in background ON.

The only thing I can think of causing this is the annoying (in my opinion) way that Firefox does not close down all open tabs when I close the app (by hitting the square control button and hitting clear all open apps button) are they still keeping Firefox running in the background as they refresh?

PLEASE add a setting to close all tabs when closing the app. When I close Firefox on my PC and then open it again, I don't get my old tabs, so it must be possible to do on android.

Although I am totally unfamiliar with that word in its actual description.What is my best choice in this setting cause I have no idea wether to allow or not this setting

The Firefox browser I was using failed to back up the synchronization data of the domestic version due to negligence in reinstalling the new version. I can't reproduce it, but sometimes the URL bar becomes unresponsive. You click on it and nothing appens. I've tried to delete cache and history, but nothing changes.
