What information that I can supply would be useful to help resolve the problem? I have seen the problem on both my old (ancient) Windows 10 desktop and new Windows 11 desktop. I have seen it on my Windows 11 desktop on version 129.0.2 and 130.0. I saw it first on the Windows 11 desktop as I am spending my time setting it up. But recently saw it on the Windows 10 desktop on 129.0.2. When I hover on a tab it highlights the tab (background lightens); but NO description or preview appears.

It works on both PCs when I first start Firefox.

Hi. I reallllly don't want to be the person asking the same question that happens every day...but I've tried to do a bit of searching. I could've done a lot more. I had a surprise windows reformat event this morning. Everything is shiny and unmodded. I have never had it open new indow tabs and new windows simultaneously. If I close the window on the toolbar and it closes the tab. I'd blame myself...but the only thing I did was change the font size because I'm nearly blind. Is this a new thing!? I hate it ! I don't want NEW windows, I use firefox for tabs.

this is happening in safe firefox and unsafe firefox. it must be something in the settings but i don't know!! (i've had the worst day at work and having to reformat was unexpected and incredibly frustrating...i just want my computer the way i like it)

Where has the home page setting "Open tabs from last session" gone? All my tabs are gone because the previously saved home pages are now opened automatically. That's it for Firefox!

I had to reset windows 11, all my files were kept ,including the history in firefox but the bookmarks of 10 years of work were deleted. I tried to restore it but there is no old version in my computer after the reset. iI am vey sad. please contact me in [email address] for help thank you

Hi, I've started my laptop after 3 days, opened Firefox web browser and all my tabs are closed / lost. If I try History -> "Recently closed tabs or windows" is greyed out. How can I recover all my tabs from this computer?

When I open up the Add-ons Manager it shows Window Titler is turned on. But Ctrl-Alt-T no longer works, there is no button showing for it, and it seems to be gone. A button for it does not appear in Customize Toolbar. It is the single most important reason I stay with Firefox. How do I get it to work again? Thoughts appreciated.

I want to disable the Tab hover preview and I follow the instructions per Mozilla Support, which are:

Enter about:config in the address bar and set browser. tabs. hoverPreview. enabled = false.

When I enter about.config and search for "set browser. tabs. hoverPreview. enabled = false" it comes up as false. And there doesn't seem to be a need or way to save that setting, already set to false. But it still has the hover preview.

How do I get rid of the preview mode?

How do I get rid of the articles that pop up on my opening page for Firefox, things like an article from Smithsonian about monkeys or how to sleep better. They are very interesting but I find myself going down the rabbit hole and I need to delete them. How? Thanks.

no matter what i do, every website is now dark. I want it turned off and it won't. Since this can't be turned off, how do i switch all my bookmarks to another browser? Chrome, yahoo, etc all of those don't have the dark background
