I have restarted the app, the OS, safe mode, reinstalled the app -- nothing makes a difference. The email are displayed correctly on other machines running other email clients.

It doesn't always happen, but when it does it is usually the 2nd and 3rd emails from the top of the Inbox. So it might not be a reception issue, but a display issue.

I am using a TalkTalk account, with Thunderbird as my mail server. Problem began two weeks ago. At random, my incoming mail is replaced with a formatting style message - reads like garbage. The only consistent feature seems to be a reference to a website called "futurelearn", which was associated with Open University short courses. Sometimes, I can see the email when I first open it, but next time I click on it, it is replaced with this garbage script. From the look of it, it is the same script every time. I have decent AV installed and I have run scans, but cannot find any problems in the computer. If I contact the senders and ask for a resend, the message comes through in a readable form, so it cannot be anything connected to them, or to my TT account. It must be something to do with the Thunderbird on my machine. Note. I have always allowed updates, etc to install.

My Thunderbird just upgraded to v128.2esr Nebula

I was using Cards view and it was nice, but it seems the Cards just got wider vertically. They used to be 2 lines of height, and now they are 3 lines.

As I understand, the 3rd lines is only used to display "X replies", but I use the "Unthreaded" sort option, so the 3rd line is always empty for me, and takes more space for nothing.

As you know, vertical screen estate is limited with our 16:9 screen, so please give us an option to reduce the cards view vertical size (or have it automatically remove that 3rd line in Unthreaded view)

thanks

I am new to Thunderbird having just installed version 128.2.1esr. I am trying to build distribution lists, what you refer to as mailing lists. Your support document says to open the Address Book then Select File>New>Mailing List. When I try to do this after selecting File>New Mailing List does not come up as an option. Is there another way to build my lists? Thanks

I'm using Thunderbird to write artist newsletters.

This involves a lot of formatting & design. I'm currently in the habit of composing my email in Thunderbird, copy-pasting the images into place, resizing them, taking screenshots of them, and then copy-pasting THAT into their place so that I'm not rudely sending lots of massive high-resolution images through email. But that's a little tedious and still leads to emails several MB large. So I'd like to swap that out for remote images, but doing all that AND uploading them to a server and copying the URL for each strikes me as even more tedious and time-consuming, which is a drag on my writing process.

Is there any way that I can get Thunderbird to automatically upload images to a specified server before sending?

Nice to see you folks doing stuff like Appointment - but more than any NEW stuff, PLEASE give so many of us the lost ability to manually reorder folders like we had before version 115. That is really a loss that should be addressed. I am ready to make a significant donation if you take this real need seriously!

I am attempting to migrate my Outlook Calendar to Thunderbird, but import fails with "No importable items found in the file". Here is some additional information.

- OS is Windows 10 - I am using the Outlook Client, part of Microsoft 365 Enterprise. I am no longer with my company, and so my Office 365 license has expired (hence the reason I am moving to Thunderbird). - I have already migrated my emails, using MailStore as an intermediary - Outlook Client will only export my calendar items in ".pst" file format (exporting as .ics is not an option) - I attempt to import the ".pst" file into Thunderbird (import from a file, import calendars) - the file open dialog defaults to ".ics", but I am able to change it to All files, then select the ".pst" file I created from Outlook - Thunderbird Import displays the message "No importable items found in the file" - I am a new user and am using the most recent version of Thunderbird, v128

I'm hoping somebody can provide assistance on how this can be accomplished.

Thanks, Sam
