Are you aware if there is any reason why firefox seems not to work with https://mycambridge.sso.cambridge.org/ in combination with the google authenticator app. I'd be most grateful for advice, as a longtime firefox devotee, who has to remember to use an alternative browser for this particular combination. Trying to backup thunderbird address books. Online help says to select the address book, go to tools, then export and select file type. Instructions say should see file format options like csv but the only option showing on mine is zip with no other options. I can backup the entire profile, and have done so, but how bo I backup the address book?

I have installed the VPN on Mac Desktop but haven't been able to turn on VPN. The icon is present in the top taskbar but only has options to quit or hide.

sync with mobile and laptop. URL in Firefox has Icon to accept QR code, so I tap that and camera comes on. I take a snapshot of the QR code on the laptop, but then syncing gives the error message that does not make sense to anyone from THIS planet and does not sync.

I have just added another gmail account to Thunderbird. I'm using the portable version 115.12.2 (64-bit) on Windows 10 Instead of just seeing the Local Folders and a few folders I've made myself, I can see the Imap folder I think it is, for the email account just created. However, it's supposed to be Pop3 and everything works from local folders. I've compared the Gmail settings against an existing account and they are identical. I've also compared the smtp settings for the new account with an already established one, and once again all settings are identical. Yet for some reason this account appears as a main folder underneath the Local folder. I'm stumped (yet again) and am sick of wasting so much time to try and fix and getting nowhere. I'd love some help please to suggest what's gone wrong?

Hi for some time now i have been having issues connecting to my website.. it loads every other site but when i try and load mine on firefox it comes up with no internet connection but my site works on other browsers.. anyone have any ideas on a fix for this ?

The time window happens overnight and can be for about 70-80 emails.

I am Australian & live in Australia, so the times are obviously quite different.

Hello I have reinstalled my firefox on a new reinstall of windows 10 as my older version 10 crashed and went to the wall. however I have all my tabs and fafourites up and running but when i try and download my paid version of Nord VPN firefox comes back and says its not secure and wont load the website ? this has been working for me in the past. any advise would be greatfully accepted. thank you.

A week or two ago I started having two problems with Thunderbird, but only with some emails related to my clients. Here is a description of each problem (in case the problems are related):

Doubled incoming emails

Emails received at my address david@nsrusa.org are being received and displayed twice. I have set both my email domain servers to delete messages from the server, which is the top advice always given for this problem. The advice doesn't work for me.

Outgoing message failure

Some messages I send using Reply (perhaps the doubled messages) are getting "stuck" in my email server, which keeps sending me updates on this failure. Here is the start of a typical failure message:

My environment: Mailservers are mail.nsrusa.org and mail.springtimesoftware.com, both at IP address 69.48.183.241, Windows 11 Home 64, Thunderbird 128.8.1esr 32 (I have just updated to 128.11.1esr), hp laptop.

With some of the messages I receive and with film sites such as Netflix and HBO Max, the screen becomes too large to access the control column on the right, a necessary manuever as the scroll arrow has suddenly lost its ability to scroll when that column is no longer seen. What do I need to do to rectify this?
