The latest update has moved the adress bar to the top of the screen instead of the bottom of the screen. And there is a bar for open tabs now, which can't be removed. Both changes have made it extremely exhausting to use the app on my tablet and the option to put the adress bar on the bottom is gone. Please help.

Somehow I have lost my check and download email buttons at the top left of Thunderbird. I have checked what I believe is every option to get them back but to no avail. Somehow I hid the easy enough but now they are gone I can't seem to find out how to get them back.

how come when ever i install any antivirus except for windows defender do i get this in Firefox Your browser is being managed by your organization. i went to policies but do not know what to do why can this not be removed from Firefox what do i need to do in policies to get rid of this. here is what i get in policies did not remove any thing this is what i get help please thi is documentation in policies.. I am experiencing strange behaviour with Thunderbird and certain add-ons. For some time now, when I use certain add-ons that are supposed to display a menu, the menu does not appear. It is replaced by a circle (see attached image : two different add-ons, not showing simultaneously, but merged into the same capture). I have disabled all other add-ons, but this has not resolved the issue. I think there must be a setting that is causing the problem. But with so many settings, I don't know where to look.

Does anyone know how to find the reason for this behaviour?

I am using Thunderbird 139.0.2 (64-bit) with Windows 11.

hi, i cant find an option to dismiss the new sidebar. it's pointless and i can switch all the buttons off, but now there is just an empty space at the side of my browser. very annoying. i hate the AI integration and i will not be recommending this browser to anyone in the future because of it. I have spent years convincing others to make the switch to firefox, but what's the point if it ends up just as toxic and useless as every other browser. disappointing.

No, there's no such option in settings. No, removing updater physically does not stop pop-ups. No, there's nothing in about:config to shut up the updates.

No, your updates ruin the browser, more and more, I think I'm about to switch to Pale Moon instead.

When I click on an email in my mail 'inbox', items open in a 'send' window? Why don't they open into a 'read' window? Why are emails opened with red outline boxes and largely inaccessible? Can you help? Must I reload Thunderbird and Firefox? Are there tweaks that I am missing. I have spent several hours trying to sort this out, so far no luck!! Can you help?

Since the last update Thunderbird no longer highlights words in spell check which makes it difficult to determine what word it is checking. Is there a way to resolve this?

The previous view and use was excellent not I can't see how the new process works. Whatever you did has disrupted my work flow and does not make any sense. How can I get back to what was working so well? Also much of my info@reelent.com yearly review is no longer that..... Family correspondences, etc. his applies to all years and files even though the example is from the past.... The new look is scary. Thanks
