Windows10 simply multiplies the numbers of active Mozilla Firefox Apps which are open. Every day for about two weeks I've been having to delete hundreds of Firefox Apps open in the Task Manager. So many open in a very short time it locks up the Win10 system. I've attached a pic

bold text all my passwords seem to have disappered on my desktop, I checked my mobie app and they were there. there was a message to sync this morning on sign in.

My Firefox shortcuts keep disappearing: this is an almost daily occurrence. Sometimes they re-appear later without any intervention, sometimes they re-appear after a reboot. Right now, after rebooting and 'fixing' Firefox from Control Panel, they are still missing. I have 4 rows configured for both shortcuts and recent sites, and had 'pinned' about 20 shortcuts. Currently on Windows 10, soon to upgrade to Windows 11.

Can someone PLEASE tell me if there is a fix available for this (will it be resolved in Win 11?), or if there is a way to easily save and restore these backups when this problem occurs.

The ability to have 32 shortcuts is the motivating reason for my using Firefox over Chrome or Edge (which only allow 8), but if they keep disappearing like this I'm going to have to re-think my browser selection.

When using vertical tabs layout with "expand sidebar on hover" setting enabled, sidebar scrolls up with each expansion, so that when hovering over a certain tab of collapsed sidebar, another open tab is under the mouse pointer when expanded. For additional details please refer to the attached video.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable vertical tabs layout with "expand sidebar on hover" setting 2. Open a lot of tabs 3. Hover over a certain tab

Observed result: The sidebar expands with mouse over another tab and the list of tabs scrolled up.

Expected result: The sidebar expands and mouse pointer is hovering over the same tab after expansion from collapsed state.

I need a fucking no on this setting, not a "not now". I do not want the browser to open on startup. But when I do want the browser open, there is the browser asking me again like an ex that wont get the hint.

...and getting this message.....Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

Quite simply I replaced the dead power supply on an old PC of mine and booted it up to start using it again as a work PC.

When I did the now decade old version on firefox told me I might want a clean reboot which I clicked Ok since the history was so old on it as to be irrelevant. Firefox closed but didn't reboot. So I launched it again and simply chose not to restore the old tabs when prompted (not even some of them as that was also an option). I updated the old version on firefox I had on it before restarting it and logging into my firefox account to sync and try to transfer my work tabs to the old PC. When I did so I realized on the old PC that reopening Firefox didn't reopen where I had left off. I thought it was just the update but did a check nonetheless. Opening a couple of random tabs before exiting firefox and launching it again. It didn't reopen the last tabs. I checked the settings: "open previous windows and tabs" was checked. Did a brief google search that confirmed my next step: uncheck that box > exit firefox > launch firefox > check the box again > relaunch firefox. I did all that and was still not getting my tabs back.

Then I went back to my current PC (where I had changed nothing) and missclicked (I think I was going to the settings) exiting firefox there (3 windows and probably ~60 tabs ... yes I have a problem). And now even on my main PC firefox didn't restore windows and tabs!

I hoped I could go to history > reopen closed windows but no dice. The option is greyed out. That is also when I noticed I had no history whatsoever.

Now I unfortunately relaunched firefox a couple of times here trying to troubleshoot BEFORE I went online and saw that I could have possibly restored the last session using some backups.

With all that in mind can I still restore my tabs/history somehow? And why isn't firefox picking up where I leave it even though the option for it is on?

All of this is on firefox v148.0 on win10 for both PCs if that's relevant.

Hi everyone! Why do I get an error when I try to download messages - "Failed to save message. Check the spelling of the file name, wait a while, and try again"

And the most annoying thing is that after this error, downloading other letters stops and you have to manually search for that very letter, although there may be thousands of them... Please fix this!

I already have two Exchange email accounts using Exquilla that were created in earlier T-bird versions, they work in the latest version as well. I am trying to add a third exchange account, I enter the email and password do auto discover and get the following error; Invalid or missing password: password does not exist in the directory for this user. An Autodiscover site was found, but we could not find a usable entry. This is probably because your server does not support Exchange Web Services (EWS). If your server does not support EWS, then ExQuilla will not work for you. If you believe this to be in error, try manually entering the EWS URL.

I know the message is wrong since I have two accounts that function. I have gone through the manual configuration as indicated online and still have no success just says "URL test failed". I was hoping this latest version would have another way to be able to enter information to get around the failure. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

bis zum 5.3.2026 funktoinierte TB einwandfrei, aber seit gestern kann ich keine Mails mehr versenden, folgende Fehlermeldung wird angezeigt siehe Bild Hochgeladen. Gestern wurde die IP 18.195.155.157 angezeigt, heute 3.70.126.251

Empfangen von E-Mails hat funktioniert nur beim Senden oder Weiterleiten kommt die Fehlermeldung.

es Spielt auch keine Rolle von welchem Konto ich Mails verfasse, ob T-online,Web oder Agenturserver

Benutze den Acount auch auf einem Laptop mit W11, dort funktioniert alles,

Die SMTP Einstellungen hab ich überprüft, Laptop und diesem PC sind identisch (Hatte ja auch keine Änderung in diesem Bereich durchgeführt)

Firefox will only start if I sign in as an administrator. It doesn't connect to the internet, and I can't get to the help screen. I did a refresh but that hasn't help. If I uninstall and then reinstall a new copy correct the problem? How do I save and reinstall my bookmarks and settings? I love Firefox and prefer it over other browsers. But I need to fix it and any help you provide will be very much appreciated. Thank you!

when attempting to login to 53.com credentials are entered, login pressed, login flashes but no login.... as if there is a pop up or something that should occur and doesn't. On edge it works fine, press login and a clock like symbol overlays the login button and then you are in....

I am encountering an issue where, while searching for images on google, the images appear extremely low resolution. When I attempt to open the image in another tab, it remains extremely low resolution and low quality. The issue is not with the images themselves, as I am able to view them on my phone with higher resolution, it is just my desktop that experiences this issue. Please fix it.

I need to uninstal firefox because it is not opening, keep getting message to first close firefox !!! I can not close firefox because I can't get it to open in the first place.

Normally, when zoom in on a web page in Firefox, the page will adjust so the page content is still visible, by insisting the magnified content is still visible, or a vertical scroll bar is created to reveal the content.

I also run into pages where the content is only visible when the page is 100% or less.

Can this be adjusted?

The site froze while playing a video. It happened multiple times. Is anyone else reporting this kind of behavior on Instagram. I closed the tab, but cpu stress-like side effects remained for a while.
