I've selected to delete my history on quit. However, when I subsequently reopen Firefox, I've found that under 'History' all my previously closed tabs are saved. Why is this? Why isn’t *all* my browsing history deleted on quit?

Settings provides feature "Delete browsing data on quit". With this feature ON and option "History" selected, the latest version clears the History list, but does NOT delete the list of Recently Closed Tabs on the history page. This seems to be a major bug.
Can not remove sites under manage browsing data. I select a site, click remove, remove again but it's still there taking up space.
