I dislike the Group Tabs feature. So many times I've accidentally created a Group Tab and then had to figure out how to un-group them.

I've tried to change the value of the "browser.tabs.groups.enabled" preference to false, but it doesn't stick; after restarting, the value is always back to "true".

What’s up with this?

I cannot figure out how to add my favorite things to the toolbar. The toolbar doesn't even show up at the top of my page. I just get a string of random bookmark names under the address bar with the Other bookmarks folder at the end. I can't even get rid of "Finish Setup" which is the last one shown. How do I do find where the toolbar is hidden and get it to show? Once I do find it, how can I add my favorite items to the toolbar? I even had ask a question online to find out how to restore my most recent bookmark which was backed up in the documents folder on my computer. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I don't like the way Mozilla Firefox looks now. It isn't as easy to use. I have included what the top of page looks like now. I am sorry I didn't think to keep one of how it used to be.

Hi. There is a problem with video playback when skipping through the video using a playback bar. The video (but not audio) freezes at the spot when one skippes to another part of the video and re-establishes after a while (not so short while) to the part of the video that is currently played. I'm using Linux Fedora.

Since the last update, I believe, because this error occurs constantly and with EVERY video. This is often, not always, the case immediately after updating FF. Now it was fine for a while, but now it's so bad that I'm having trouble watching YT videos properly. Reason: Browser open, logged in to YT. I click on a video to play - video opens, plays maybe 10 to 20 seconds, then playback stops spinning top, I also found out during the last glitch after update that if I switch the resolution briefly, higher or lower doesn't matter - important is to leave the current resolution and switch to another one. And oh wonder - immediately, instantly with the change, the video starts playing. If I wait for this - without doing anything myself, it sometimes takes 30 - 40 seconds for the video to start ... sometimes it just "hangs" ... This is extremely annoying - if it doesn't work, I have to switch browsers... What is also extremely annoying is that it occurs almost regularly after an update ... until the next one possibly, for unknown reasons, does not fix the error, but sometimes mitigates it. I was unable to find this issue online or on the forums, so wanted to see if anyone can help

-using FF for Android (latest official release) and 1password (latest release). 1password is selected as default password manager and I have disabled prompts for FF to manage and autofill passwords

-when visiting a site with a linked password, the 1password field comes up to fill the saved password, but after clicking, FF brings up a warning:

Fill anyway 1password can't verify the app or website should have access to your XXXXXX login.

Clicking fill once will fill the password correctly most of the time, but this behavior didn't occur previously. Previously, the password would be filled without the extra Firefox prompt.

What I've tried and noticed -removing and reinstalling both FF and 1password, and clearing cache for both -changing default password manager to none and then back to 1password -occurs in regular mobile and "desktop" modes -started occurring maybe in the last month or so, and beforehand this wasn't a problem.

-this problem doesn't occur with other browsers -in the autofill section of FF, the "autofill in other apps" slider is set to off, and there is no way I can slide it on, however when I click on it, it shows that the default android password manager is 1password

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

When you right-click on a window thumbnail, a menu should appear, but instead the window thumbnail just disappears. The screenshots show 1) a Firefox mini-window 2) a mini-window that just disappeared when you right-click 3) a mini-window of any other program 4) the menu that appeared is as it should be Otherwise the browser works absolutely fine for a long time. I've freshly reinstalled Windows 11 and after trying to access and watch a movie on any of these sites I get an error (see the pictures).

Already tried to disable/enable DRM. Already reinstalled firefox. Already manually installed widevine. No clue what could be causing this issue.

I left my computer for a while, and when I returned and took it off screensaver I started going through my emails when I noticed that the bookmarks on the toolbar are missing. The toolbar is present, and I toggled between only show on new tab, never show and always show a few times, but they're still missing. I even tried bookmarking two webpages, but they were not added to the toolbar. As stated, I have the bookmark toolbar to always show. Firefox just updated yesterday, 4/8/25 to 130.1.0, and I'm pretty sure that they were there this morning, but I can't be totally sure. I noticed my computer had updates available, so knowing updating it would not have any effect on Firefox, I restarted the computer while updating so I could also restart Firefox with a bit of a delay. I had also restarted it twice before without any luck. The only thing I did besides updating Firefox was enabled the sidebar, which I then turned off and still did not have any bookmarks in the toolbar. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, but I may not be able to view and any responses or make the stated changes until Friday.

For years I have been able to watch a foreign TV website, despite having only a DSL connection (I allow only the scripts essential to make it work). Since I did the last update, to 137.0, I cannot watch either the live stream ("General source error") or old programs ("There is something wrong with your internet connection"). This is absolutely consistent; I've lost count of the times I've tried.

I never had problems like this before. At worst, if Windows was running a background process I might have to stop it to keep from having pauses in the program. All I can think of is that you did something in the new version of Firefox that has made video impossible on DSL.

With the new update to Firefox v137 I am no longer able to sign in to Government sites using my bank as a sign in partner. Google Chrome will sign in so it has something to do with the new update. I have cleared cache and all data and still no luck with the sign in. Any help would be appreciated because Firefox has been my default browser for years and I'm not interested in changing.
