Usually happens with youtube embed links, not sure if it happens with other(non-embed/other website) links, but it will ask me to open with app or in browser, and can't be cancelled with back button, only home button. when I press home button and reopen the app the embed will disappear in the page

This past week, on my phone, Firefox has been flagged "high battery background usage" and is continuously trying to put app to deep sleep. What has happened? How do I stop this?
