Latest FF release announcement highlights the ability to "shake to summarize" — is this feature no yet available or is it something you have to turn on in FF iOS?

The FF web browser on mac update was pretty clear about what this is and it being a new available feature. See attached.

Trying to sync Firefox on a Win11 desktop and an iPhone 11. The menu on the iPhone does not have a “Sync and save data” to tap. I can’t get to “ready to scan”. To hold my iPhone over the code. Suggestions appreciated.

After the most recent Firefox update for iOS, none of my shortcuts work. They’re all still there - or it looks like they are - but whenever I tap on one of them, I return to the page I was just on - no loading, no changes, no nothing. I am still on iOS 18.6.2, but this wasn’t an issue before the Firefox update.

I suppose this applies as much to Firefox on the desktop as it does to iOS, really.

I'm having real trouble with passwords, now that I've moved over from Safari to Firefox & Apple have seen fit to create a standalone Passwords app. (Life was so much simpler before they did that!)

I have the extension installed, but I'm getting mis-matches between the two (or three if you count the phone, meaning: Passwords App, Firefox Desktop & Firefox iOS).

I suppose the way it should work in my head is that when Firefox asks me if I want to save a password, it should save it to the passwords app (although I have no problem if it saves the password into the Firefox preferences too) & when I go to log in somewhere, it should call the password from the passwords app, but it doesn't seem to be doing that, I'm just getting multiple versions of log-ins everywhere.

I just had to reset my Instagram log-in. Firefox generated the password & it's now saved in the Firefox passwords list but it hasn't appeared in the Passwords app.

Shouldn't the extension be keeping them synchronised?

When I initially press on one of my Bookmarks nothing happens. I must press and hold for a moment, wait for a list of options to cascade downward and select from the list. I choose “open the Bookmark in a new tab”, and again nothing happens. But… after making the choice from the previously mentioned step, I noticed a blue banner appears reading “switch” that I also must press on for the Bookmarked page to actually load. This is far different than Firefox operated previous versions ago where when you pressed the Bookmark the page you wanted loaded immediately. No other steps needed. What happened? Why does this happen? Can the coders please revert this functionality?

On behalf of the Firefox community, I implore you to honor this request and revert to what was a simple browser function.

When I click on a PDF file download link, it opens in a web page with the address starting with "blob:" and I can't download it. The file also doesn’t appear in my Downloads folder.

I’m on iPhone 13 Pro with IOS version 18.5. The version about Firefox is 142.1 (60552)

I closed 1 tab on my phone through the desktop synced tabs. Since then, Firefox has been continously sending me notifications about the tab being closed. I've clicked on the notification to open the app, but I still keep getting this.

I thought I was deleting one shortcut and when I toggled the button on the shortcuts page, they all disappeared. How do I get the short cuts back? And, how donI remove shortcuts I do not want?

As you can see in the attached screenshot, Firefox lists "https://mzl.la/iOSSupport" as the site to provide feedback. This URL doesn't work.

I have a very simple web server on my desk using an ESP8266. It has it's own IP address 10.18.2.3 If I enter this url on Firefox on Android it works just great. However when I enter the same url of Firefox on IOS is does nothing and says "No Internet Connection". I already know there is no internet connection and I do not want one. I just want to have Firefox work the same as it does on Android. What settings do I need to change in IOS to make this work ? I am also curious why it shouldn't work on IOS in the first place too. Wow, I have asked this question at least 10 times now. I'm hoping this time I'll get an answer. Since last week, for some reason i all of a sudden can no longer log into my hotmail and outlook accounts. When i click on "hotmail sign in" located in my book marks, the log in page will not come up. The page seems to flash several times and then i get an emblem telling me "I cannot long in. Try again later". This has been happening for several days now. The only way i can check my email is either from my iPhone or a different browser than Firefox. Why won't Firefox allow me to log in?

I have searched repeatedly and cannot find a way to turn on vertical tabs in Firefox for iOS — iPad specifically. Everything I find seems to refer to Mac.

Running the latest Firefox iteration on Mac, OS Sequoia 15.5. After the last recent update my bookmarks have vanished. I can only find a very outdated set related to an old profile (going back at least two years). There are no files anywhere in the library when I tried to follow instructions for restoration (most of which apply to Windows), and I can't find any backups. Is there a way of accessing and restoring the most recent backups or the original file in this situation?

NB is it possible that the update overwrote my profile with a new one? -- snapshot of the profiles on file attached. bit9ck45.default-release is the current profile; the other is the very outdated one.
