Hello, I apologize, I am uncertain if this is the appropriate place to post this topic. I am having significant difficulty with the forum system when we require assistance.

I have been using Thunderbird for over a year now, and I have wanted to stop using it since the first month of use. Several times a month, I am unable to send messages even though I haven't made any changes. The message keeps popping up: “The message failed to send. The message could not be sent because the connection to the outgoing server (SMTP) ”server name" failed. The server may be unavailable or refusing SMTP connections. Please check that your outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again."

This is supposed to be my work email. I understand that ThunderBird is a volunteer platform. And that you do what you can, but I can't afford to be stuck like this for a “yes” or a “no.” You were highly recommended to me by my website host, and I regret it. I am no longer in contact with that person, so I can no longer get the assistance I needed several times a month to get the mailbox up and running again. However, I continue to receive mail at that address.

Is there a way to automatically transfer emails from ThunderBird to Proton Mail? If so, how do I do that, please?

I can't copy/paste the information in messages in some of my e-mails. How can I unblock these messages.

I can copy/past these messages using other e-mail applications.

I am not receiving new email. What do I need to do to get it working again?

I have vertical tabs enabled and the "expand when hovering mouse" option is activated (see screenshot). However, the latter functionality tends to glitch at some point in basically every session. I can't tell if a specific action triggers it, so far it seems pretty random. The glitch is that either the tabs are expanded and won't collapse, or the opposite: they're collapsed and refuse to expand when I point at them. Is this feature maybe still experimental? or something? I'm running Firefox 149.0b5 DEveloper Edition on Garuda Linux (Arch based).

Having a paid firefox relay subscription, can I incorporate Firefox relay masks into my Avira password management. I use a laptop under Windows 11, as well as a smartphone on Android, both using the same Avira password management software.

More precise, how do I prevent a list of firefox relay masks is  shown if an user name or email address is searched for/ or supposed to be provided by my avira password manager?

Can I prevent that a list of relay masks is listed by inserting/deleting a check sign in what setting? Thanks in advance and Regards.

firefox removed my bookmarks and they had no right to do so. This upsets me big time, and like everything else they have no phone line to cll for support. firefox is a real pice of work.

Links keep opening in new windows, and not within new or same tab. Shift key is not stuck and all toggles in the Tabs Opening/Interaction Settings field have been turned off

how can I cancel my monthly donation to Thunderbird? For the past few months, whenever I use Firefox, I get multiple messages about viruses. I never use thunderbird. I just want to stop the $3 monthly donation throgh Paypal.

Hello, In my Mozilla Thunderbird email client I'm sorting received emails into 'conversations' which in Thunderbird is known as 'Threaded View'. I find this to be useful functionality but one problem I have is that it's not obvious when there's a new email in that thread. The only way to check for a new message in a thread, is to click on the '<n> replies' in the very first threaded email, so that when that expands to show all content in that thread - one can then see that there are new emails that haven't yet been read. Is there any way that new (unread) emails in Threaded View can be made obvious ?. Regards,
