When the Global Privacy Control request is checked (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/global-privacy-control?as=u&utm_source=inproduct) a persistent bubble appears at the bottom of the page indicating the request has been accepted. The bubble is annoying. Is there a way to continue to use this feature without the bubble appearing?

Trying to send mailmerge. Thunderbird version 147.0.2 (64-bit) I have sent a mailmerge from thunderbird before, so it should work. I have my CSV ready, and I type the email draft. I click the mailmerge icon, and fill out the mail merge dialogue box. After I fill out Mail Merge dialog box and click send, a blank dialog box opens, then I can't do anything (my email draft is frozen)tried sending, and saving, or pressing load (all options highlighted in screenshot). See also screenshot of blank dialogue box and frozen message. I tried closing the blank dialogue box, but the mailmerge is not sent, and after that, I can create a new message, but the mail merge option is greyed out, so I cannot select it. So I shut down Thunderbird and restart, then I can click the mail mergeicon, but same problem,I only get as far as the blank dialogue box. Thank you so much for your help

bold text Firefox has been my browser forever. When I tried to open it this morning I was invited to create a profile, so no profile, no Firefox..... I've never had to do this before and am reluctant because of the apparent threat of losing all my passwords and bookmarks. I'm 85 years of age so don't need this complication. Any help would be appreciated, complicated high tech answer will probably be beyond me. Brian.

I retired an older desktop unit several months ago and am no longer able to access the bookmarks associated with my account. My profile information now says account disconnected, followed by my email address. Below that the words Profile 1 appear. The menu below is the regular menu for actions on Firefox but none of the bookmarks from the original computer appear. Is there some way to access them?

Hello, I've just downloaded and started to use Mozilla Thunderbird on my Windows 11 desktop, and have encountered a strange problem. Whenever I compose a new email - it contains a lot of gibberish that looks a bit like a mixture of HTML coding and binary. I've tried changing the format of new emails between HTML and Plain Text and nothing seems to overcome this issue.

My old calendar kept events in Reminder mode until I dismissed them. Thunderbird dismisses them too soon. Can I force it to keep displaing the reminders?

I did something one time, but it suddenly showed a whole month of reminders! That was too much. I just want to be the one who decides to dismiss. Thanks.

Hello, I only use Thunderbird on my PC with IMAP. For the past three days, while I receive my emails just fine, I can no longer send them. They bounce back with the following error message:

The only thing I've done is also install Thunderbird on my mobile phone. It asked me for a password that I don't know and don't think I've ever had one for Thunderbird.

However, when I go directly to the Free Zimbra website associated with my email, it works and I can send my emails. Thank you for your help.

Christian - Error message attached.
