Before asking my question, I have to say that I have been extremely happy that Thunderbird introduced their app. for phones. Historically, I have had many problems with my desktop version, and even now there are days that I cannot send e-mails from my desktop, but that's a question for another time.

My question now is, am I somehow able to access my local folders that my son set up on my desktop (in order not to clog up my allowance), on my phone? The local folders are in the menu on my desktop, but not on my phone.

I went out of the USA on May to Ecuador and Peru, and on the same day the Android version of Thunderbird stopped retrieving new email from the server. I have used Thunderbird pointed to the same server on Windows 11 and Android successfully for years. I thought it might be something to do with being out of the country, but now I'm back in the USA, and sync account on Android still does not retrieve new mail that has accumulated since May 4th. I've been following my email using a webmail access so I know there's lots of new mail. I've closed and reopened Thunderbird on the Android, and I've tried sync account with the webmail access closed. I have not yet tried Thunderbird on my windows 11 laptop because I'm still not home yet. Any suggestions welcomed, thank you for your help! Today I received a suspicious email from wilfred.bayer.lsr8a@sewjp.jolorvex.world. When I tried to forward it to report@phishing.gov.uk, it remained in the mobile app's Outbox and a message appeared as a notification: "Failed to send a message. Reject for policy reason." Then I took a screenshot of as much of the content as I could and attached it to a new email, sending it to the same address. This too remains in the Outbox. What is the problem?

Afterwards, I thought perhaps this might slow Thunderbird down. Is that true? And how do I change "1000 more" to some other value? I've searched extensively but can't find a solution anywhere. Question 1: How can I add an HTML signature file for an account in Thunderbird for Android by referencing a file on my phone? Or, something similar that will accomplish the same thing (i.e., HTML email .sig).

Background: In Thunderbird on my Desktop (currently using 140.10.1esr), I can go to Account Settings, select an email account, check the "Attach the signature from a file instead (text, HTML, or image):" and then "Choose..." a file I created on my local machine. My file is HTML (e.g., mysig.html) and references an image (in the same local directory). I want to replicate this in TBA.

Question 2: If there is no way to do this (the functionality is not purposefully there and there is no work-around to fool TBA into behaving properly), is there a place I can submit this request to the developers?

Hi. I use Thunderbird Android 17.0 on my phone and tablet. Everything is great on the phone.

On the tablet, unified inbox worked fine until two days ago. Now, no email goes into the unified inbox and I have to open accounts individually to see email. The unified inbox still shows, but the last email in there is from two days ago. I did not change any settings and berichten that the checkbox is checked to show the unify inbox.

What cohort have caused this and how can I fix it?

When I click on each account to try to sign in I get an error that says "OAuth 2.0 is currently not supported with the provider". How can I sign in to my gmail accounts on my phone in Thunderbird?1
