I rate recorded interviews from another website. For years this has worked weill but over the last 7 days of say 10 interviews thee are 2 I cannot hear. I clik on them and clearly they have been recorded as the time runs. Others tell me that they can hear the interviews. When I swith to Chrome I can hear them. I want to continue with Firefox my ffavorite browser

I keep receiving notifications I've already dealt with, specifically from Youtube, as of writing this is the third day I've had to deal with them.

The notifications pop up inconsistently, anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour, but when they do pop up, it's a barrage of every notification I've already read since it began.

This may be an issue with Youtube itself or Windows, I don't know.

When I am on espn.com/fantasy team pages everything loads correctly except for one popup table that does not. It will occasionally display but usually doesn't. When it fails to display, the scrollbar disappears but nothing shows. I tried clearing cache and cookies (Ctrl + F5, Settings + Clear data, etc.), refreshing firefox, and disabling all addons/extensions but the problem persists. I also tried turning off hardware acceleration and turned off proxies and secure DNS but nothing worked. I noticed this "_error.js" message in the debugger:

I have used Thunderbird for years without issue. In the last 2 days, it keeps crashing on one of my laptops (fine on the other). I sent a crash report, but I can't reopen Thunderbird. I tried both quitting and restarting. I shut down my computer and restarted it. I tried updating by downloading the latest version, but that didn't work either. I completely uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and it worked for a few hours. Now, it is back to the Crash Report.

Any suggestions? I love TB and don't want to switch to something else.

I want to declutter my list of address books (see attached screenshot) by copying (or moving) the contents of some of them so that their contents appear in a different address book as "subfolders" (i.e., as a lists) nested within that address book. I can then hide the lists and delete the address books whose contents I copied. I've tried several ways to do this but have had no success. For example, I selected a set of contacts within one of the address books, then clicked on New List, typed a List Name, selected an address book where I wanted the contacts to go, and clicked OK. A new list was created within the selected address book but only the names and email addresses of those contacts appeared in the address book. I'd like all the info for the contacts to be copied to the selected address book.

Any ideas for how to do this?

I have struggled with logging into E*trade using Firefox with no real solution other than clearing cache and cookies each time. After downloading No Script extension, I have identified adobedtm.com to be the cause of the eternal white page hangup when trying to access E*Trade. Wanted to make this info available in case a fix can be made without the extension.

For the past several weeks I have been having issues where some parts of websites don't load like on Twitch and amazon, and YouTube videos are choppy and pause playback frequently. I have a 7800 X3D CPU, 32 GB of DDR5, and gigabit Ethernet so its not a problem with outdated hardware. I also reinstalled the newest drivers twice, updated my bios, updated Windows, and reset my router so I'm not really sure whats causing the problem. I tested twitch and youtube on Edge and the issues are kinda there but considerably better. I was having similar issues on youtube several months ago when I was using opera, so I switched to firefox and it seemed to fix the problem until now.

Hi, For several months (maybe even up to a year) I have been unable to edit any existing appointments or events in google calendar while using Firefox.

I can open an existing event, make changes, but the Save button never works. It just stays on that screen.

I can switch to any other browser and it works as expected.

I prefer using Firefox but have tried to find a solution several times to no avail. I have also reinstalled several times.

Any ideas?

I use Otter ai to transcribe my healing sessions w/ clients (I'm an energy healer-I see dimensions within the human energy field). I'm a "low-end" user (I just made that up) because it's just me. When I try (operative word) to export and actually hit the "export" button, I get this stupid, crappy, dangling box about ChatGPT (see image below). There's no place to respond yes, no, or to close it out. The only thing I can do is hit "escape" to make it disappear but then I'm kicked out of the export process to view the original screen listing my recent meetings.

Specifics: I have a Macbook Air, macOS Sonoma version 14.4.1 w/ an Apple M1 (no idea what all this but assume it's useful for you). FF is my default browser. I use otter thru FF rather than an app on my Mac. In FF settings I've added otter ai to a list that allows website popups. I don't use Chatgpt or whatever it does on otter. I just want to export the text.

Sadly, otter ai customer support has been dismal. So, I've turned to you folks. I'm not super computer savvy, but hope I've done the basics to rule out issues. Oh, I've also logged out then in to Otter, rebooted my laptop a bunch- all the things to reset. Didn't work.

On our Windows computer Thunderbird has always had an issue where it would pop up a message saying "Could not connect to mail server imap.comcast.net, the connection was refused". A few hours or days would go by and Thunderbird and Comcast would talk to each other again. I finally had some time to try and debug this and (of course) I couldn't get the error to reproduce but instead I kept getting an imap timeout error. I captured the error message but it doesn't tell me why it's timing out or what to do about it.

P.S. Yes, I increased the timeout value from 100 to 300 and now it simply takes longer

Multiple different sites not just opened or worked correctly because they say I’m not using Firefox but then when I just tried going to Firefox.com/pair the Firefox site also told me I’m not using Firefox and to download it. So I followed the links to download, even though I was already in Firefox, did the update, and came back to go to Firefox.com/pair but it’s STILL telling me I’m not on Firefox!? Idk what’s happening…..

I took the screenshot in the frame I did so you can see I’ve done the update in the App Store, as well as the fact that I’m in Firefox, but the error message shown says I’m not.

Not the first time this happened! I keep a draft email in my Thunderbird program with a list of monthly payments I make and from which accounts. I am running Thunderbird 128.2.3esr (64-bit) on a MacBook Pro M2 running Sequoia 15.0. When the MacBook goes to sleep with TB open, TB will not restart successfully when the MacBook wakes up. Instead, the spinning multicolored circle appears, and in order to get into TB again I first have to Force Quit it. Once that's done, it reopens normally after the crash report is sent to Apple. This also happened for TB 128 with the previous macOS Sonoma. How can I avoid this?

I've been using FF since release #3 and like it a lot since I cut my teeth using NetScape. The past few days FF will not open one of my email accounts. When I click on login, it brings up the logging on page and then just starts blinking and will not sign me on. If I use MS Edge to sign on it works fine. The email account has been working fine for many years so don't know what to do. I've deleted recent history, but that does not help. Any ideas will be appreciated as I like FF and don't like to have to use two different browsers to do my daily tasks. Thanks in advance for any help you can suggest. I'm currently using release 131.0.3 with W-10 on a desk top PC with DSL from my phone company with the email account with their ID. My phone company does no know about or support FF.

Since the big upgrade in July(?), two things happen:

1. When I open Thunderbird, it shows "No messages found" before it loads my folders. 2. More frustratingly, after I send a message, an hourglass sign appears and Thunderbird hangs for about 30 seconds, during which I can't do anything.

Neither of these had been an issue before the upgrade. I keep checking for new updates in the hope that these will be fixed, but so far the problems have persisted. I am using POP and have the most up to date version of Thunderbird. Tried to run it in Troubleshoot mode - the problems are still there. Please help resolve this.

I then downloaded Chrome and everything works perfectly.

For the past two weeks, I have been unable to get to many usual web sites. Just now, it does not connect to my bank, although it did earlier. I cannot get my morning newspaper because it doesn't connect. My work flow is disruptive because I cannot access my usual websites in a timely manner. A few weeks ago, this never happened. What is wrong?
