Hi,
I used Firefox ESR on an old version of Puppy Linux (Slackware-based). It worked fine until about the end of November 2021, after which none of the updates worked. The last working version is 78.15.0esr (32-bit).
On any later version, if I run Firefox from a console I get the following error message:
firefox: symbol lookup error: /opt/firefox/libxul.so: undefined symbol: gdk_screen_get_monitor_scale_factor
About the same time this happened, Tor browser (based on Firefox ESR) also stopped working, giving a similar error message.
Could anyone explain to me why this happens and if/how I might be able to fix it?
Thanks.
