I’m using the latest stable Firefox package from the official Mozilla repository for Ubuntu, on a system with 32GB of RAM.

I’m also using Microsoft Teams for work calls, in the browser (because Linux) and I notice that Ubuntu has killed the FF process twice last week because it was using too much memory - see attached image. I’ve only had 4 or 5 Teams calls last week so this isn’t a great success rate. It seems that after half an hour or so, FF has hogged so much memory that the OS feels the need to kill it.

If this is a known issue: are there any known workarounds?

If this is not a known issue :Can I help by providing troubleshooting data? How?

I have selected the 4 rows for shortcuts on my tab and have installed all but the last 3 spaces in the end of the 4th row. There's no option whatsoever to continue to add those remaining 3 spaces. Any suggestions?

I have been a dedicated user and promoter of Fire Fox and Mozilla; but recently getting very frustrated, when following all directions, cannot STOP Firefox from blocking specific or ALL websites; should be given choices, should be clearly explained and yes, your systems have said click on Shield, but that DOES nothing!

Would appreciate a fix in details by people running the system, and know that suggestion will be simple fix and clearly understood. Thanks.

Currently Mozilla VPN's website settings allow you to exclude certain websites from VPN use, but they don't allow you to INCLUDE certain websites in the VPN when it's turned off. This feature would be very useful for me, since I only need the VPN for a small number of websites and don't need it on all the time. Please consider adding it if possible!

Title says it all, "auto resize pictures using CTRL - + does not work". Generally speaking, the size of pictures simply WILL NOT reduce in size to view its entirety. Even when the scroll-bars are used the picture is still to wide. I have searched and asked for any setting in about_config, NOTHING! I truly expected something. The ONLY STUPID WAY to view said oversize picture is Download it then view. Isn't that a HACKERS DREAM??? YES I HAVE tried looking in SETTINGS and searched for months, found nothing that actually works. So now I have to use that 4-LETTER word... HELP!

Getting around 20ms for DNS lookups so thats not the issue. Why do I see Error Code: NS_ERROR_OFFLINE maybe once every several days when this Firefox has never been in offline mode and never will be? Env is MacOS 26.5.2 with current Firefox installed.

Hi, My browser won't save the open tabs. I lost my tabs multiple times now, I don't even bother opening them back up now, but it's annoying. I have activated ( and disabled/enabled ) the setting to open previously open tabs on startup.

What can I do ? thanks

Greetings. I am on Ubuntu Linux OS. Trying to run WhatsApp, I only have a web based option. Messaging, photos, works well, but no Audio. Desktop Speakers and Mic are ON (tested). No "speaker tab" on Firefox. Help!

In this case I accessed my Acer account and clicked on my notebook. I then got the screen shown in the image. I could access the page with Opera, Chrome, and Edge.

This is happening a lot, and is rendering Firefox unusable as my default browser.

I have to reload history, bookmarks, passwords each 3 - 4 days, when Firefox refreshes the software. It was not happening before, just in the last two moths. How can I fix it?

I lost all bookmarks on or about June 29, 2026 after doing a Firefox update that asked me to create a profile when I'd never had one before. I have not been able to recover them.

A "Cloud' swept over my computer and erased all of my data and fire-fox operating system and and operating system. I think all of data is still in my computer but, I can not retrieve it. My banking information was left intacked but all of the accounts were erased.
