I just tried to upgrade my Thunderbird V 91.10.0 to Version 103, and completely broke my system. (Windows 7, 64 bit)
Thunderbird complained that the folder "Trash" could not be found, and all filters related to that folder were deleted.
When I tried to delete a message, it would not be moved from the inbox.
In many folders, when clicking on a previously saved message, only a blank page would show up.
To roll back to my working version, per other instructions on the web, I uninstalled V 103 and reinstalled V 91.1.0 from a saved install file.
Now, Version 9!.10.0 says that the new version has made irreversible changes to my profile, and it cannot access my previous thousands of saved messages, filters and address books. I tried to import the old profile, but the import wizard says there is nothing to import.
Any suggestions to recover all of my saved work for the past 7 years? This is the first time that a TB upgrade has failed for me. Thanks!
