This problem only happens in mobile...when switched to desktop...site displays properly but site text is not using the full mobile width...any solution?

Using the latest version of Firefox on Android mobile – Huawei / EMUI 12.0.0.149 Normal browsing, not using Private.
Several tabs are open, all specified to show Desktop view. But when I re-open the browser (while it's still running in the background, e.g. if I'd been using a different app or just hadn't looked at the page in a few mins), pages automatically refresh in Mobile view.
Additionally, the "Desktop site" toggle can get stuck: Shows Desktop being on, but the page is in Mobile view and if the button is tapped again, it just keeps refreshing in Mobile. The whole app has to be restarted to fix it.
Ideally, open tabs would stay in the specified view (Desktop) and not refresh automatically. Bonus, if there were also a master toggle to select the view you prefer all tabs to use.
Is there a way to set browser configuration on my Android as a PC by default? Now I have to change it everytime I enter a new page.

If you love mobile view and you love the bigger icons, fine! I'll go get you a juice box and you'll have a great day. But some people don't. I just want default to desktop as an OPTION. This option can be found in Microsoft Edge for Android and iOS as well as in Brave Browser for Android and iOS. When enabled in the settings, the browser will always display websites in full (desktop) mode.
I want my ebay pages to stay on 'desktop site' but it keeps reverting to the default android, now almost with every click. It's become unusable.

Why does the desktop settings keep changing to mobile. This option should not be allowed to be changed by website developers when they identify your browser as a mobile device. I find mobile view is inferior to desktop view and usually has less information that is on the desktop deals I never use it and I'm constantly having to change it back to desktop view when visiting other pages.
I suggest that fire food / Mozilla make the settings option for desktop a user option that is not changeable by websites.

Have they ever given us an option to make a tab always open in desktop mode? Yeah, I realize everybody doesn't need it and the average person might not want it but there are enough of us though who do that, it should still be an option, hence the word option.
So if they haven't given us the option, is it possible to make them aware that there should be an option to make tabs open always and desktop mode for those of us who choose to do so? Those of us who are too ignorant to know any better won't be using them in the first place or those who have smart enough to realize that there is the option but chooses not to use it well. Guess what? They'll choose not to use it, but please don't restrict my options because you're trying to cater to those who don't want them. In this case more is better.

since almost a week I got the problem, that I can't see the bookmarks in my bookmarks toolbar or edit them. The space, where they should appear is still there, just the icons are not. When I use the menu "Bookmarks" I still can see and use them.
I use a mac mini M1 of 2020, mac OS 13.2.1 (22D68) and the Firefox version 111.0.1 (64-bit).

I cannot use the Firefox efficiently on my Kindle Fire HD 10's without going into Desktop Mode each time. As I use it many times a day, but must start & restart it due to other Kindle limitations, it is a chore and takes a lot of time. I want to be able to start Firefox on my KIndle's in Desktop Mode when I start it each time, rather than having to do it manually several times each day. I am somewhat disabled and cannot easily control my hands (fingers) so it takes a LOT of time to do so manually. This message even took several minutes to type!
Hopefully someone can help me.
