Firefox android v117.0.1 On a Samsung A52 running Android 13

When any webpage is loaded in a tab with 'desktop site' enabled and then that tab is unloaded from memory (usually by viewing another app for a couple minutes then returning to Firefox); upon returning to that tab, the page reloads as the mobile version, however the 'desktop site' slider is still enabled and will not disable when touched.

From here the only way to actually load the desktop site again it to close Firefox by removing it from recent apps, then when re-opened it will load the offending tab in mobile view with 'desktop site' off but responding to input again.

Why does the desktop settings keep changing to mobile. This option should not be allowed to be changed by website developers when they identify your browser as a mobile device. I find mobile view is inferior to desktop view and usually has less information that is on the desktop deals I never use it and I'm constantly having to change it back to desktop view when visiting other pages.

I suggest that fire food / Mozilla make the settings option for desktop a user option that is not changeable by websites.

Have they ever given us an option to make a tab always open in desktop mode? Yeah, I realize everybody doesn't need it and the average person might not want it but there are enough of us though who do that, it should still be an option, hence the word option.

So if they haven't given us the option, is it possible to make them aware that there should be an option to make tabs open always and desktop mode for those of us who choose to do so? Those of us who are too ignorant to know any better won't be using them in the first place or those who have smart enough to realize that there is the option but chooses not to use it well. Guess what? They'll choose not to use it, but please don't restrict my options because you're trying to cater to those who don't want them. In this case more is better.

I have an android tablet, which I use for browsing the internet but firefox always open the websites in mobile pages which is not useful and gives very bad experience

I always use Firefox as my default browser on my iphone. Suddenly it’s stuck in desktop mode. I can see how to turn that off in Safari settings, but nowhere in Firefox settings. Using goohle as search engine

How to Request Desktop Site By Default on all tab in the Firefox Android app? I hate to use 1 more browser for this function. FF have speed, security, block ad and I still have to use 2 browser, why @@.

since almost a week I got the problem, that I can't see the bookmarks in my bookmarks toolbar or edit them. The space, where they should appear is still there, just the icons are not. When I use the menu "Bookmarks" I still can see and use them.

I use a mac mini M1 of 2020, mac OS 13.2.1 (22D68) and the Firefox version 111.0.1 (64-bit).

I cannot use the Firefox efficiently on my Kindle Fire HD 10's without going into Desktop Mode each time. As I use it many times a day, but must start & restart it due to other Kindle limitations, it is a chore and takes a lot of time. I want to be able to start Firefox on my KIndle's in Desktop Mode when I start it each time, rather than having to do it manually several times each day. I am somewhat disabled and cannot easily control my hands (fingers) so it takes a LOT of time to do so manually. This message even took several minutes to type!

Hopefully someone can help me.

By default, pages are in mobile view mode. The desktop mode button doesn't apply to all pages and it is not permanent.

Can you please move this to settings with a permanent desktop mode on/off switch that applies to ALL & future pages?

Before I update my tablet, I wanted to know if my tabs were going to look like they do on my phone or stay the same. I prefer the more "PC" look on my tablet. Screenshot attached for example of them all at the top. If not, what can we do? Thanks!
