Using Dark Theme

As of version 91 (currently running 91.2.0, build 20211004152603), parent folders highlight (bold and colored blue) when a new message arrives in it or any of the subfolders inside it. If the parent folder is expanded when the email arrives, the subfolder will also highlight. If the parent folder is closed when the new mail arrives, the subfolder will not be bold or colored when the parent folder is expanded. If I click on the subfolder, it will show up bold, but not colored.

For example, parent folder not expanded, currently 1 unread message in subfolder B: parent folder (1) - bold. Shows unread msg count for this and all subfolders

Expanding parent folder shows: parent folder - No message count (expected, since individual subfolders show message count), not bold or colored -> subfolder A -> subfolder B (1) - currently has unread message. Shows as bold, but not colored

With parent folder collapsed, new message arrives in subfolder A. Parent folder now shows unread message count for tree, and is bold and colored. parent folder (2) - bold. Shows unread msg count for this and all subfolders

Expanding parent folder shows: parent folder - No message count (expected, since individual subfolders show message count), not bold or colored -> subfolder A (1) - unread message count shows in parens, but *not colored or bold* -> subfolder B (1) - still bold, not colored

With parent folder expanded, new message arrives in subfolder A. parent folder - No message count (expected, since individual subfolders show message count), not bold or colored -> subfolder A (1) - highlighted (colored and bold), unread message count shows in parens -> subfolder B (1) - still bold, not colored

I cannot invite attendees to meetings, except in troubleshoot mode, since latest update. There used to be a list of spaces to invite people but now there is nothing there. If I go to troubleshoot mode it looks like it did before the update and I have to keep resetting it to set up meetings.

Can no longer send, reply to or forward any emails after update to 91.2.0 from TB 78. It affects all my email SMTP servers. It happens regardless of firewall setting, VPN or Safe Mode. I have tried the abook mab vs. sqlite route, but that does not work either. My abook remains empty. Manual entry of email addresses make no difference. When pressing SEND nothing happens.

My thunderbird system got upgraded to 91.2.0 (64 bit).

Now when I receive meeting invites (probably through *.ics files) they are displayed without any indication of the meeting date/time time (see attached screenshot). For a new meeting I can accept/tentative/deny them but not see details, and once I've done that there is a details button that will actually show me the proposed date/time but no way of denying it. This makes it almost impossible to decide whether I need to accept or deny the request.

The only way around I have found so far is to look at the message source, figure out the date/time from there, but that is very, very awkward and time consuming.

I found out that when you click the triangle before the inviters name, the actual request is shown, with the date/time information. This makes it workable, but the question remains why a lot of meeting information is shown, but not the time. My guess is only the description is shown and not the important additional meta data.

I do like the fact that the links are now actually clickable in the actual meeting entry, that is a huge usability improvement.

Running latest firefox for android but this has been happening for a while. On every tab change and switch between apps firefox will just refresh the page, which is a huge issue when you need to copy paste something or put in the authentication code because it refreshes the page and makes it almost impossible to log in. I even tried uploading something to wetransfer and when i get to chose file and go on to select it, I guess ff treats that like going out of progran and refreshes the page and i cant upload at all.you used to be able to block this in about config but you cant access config settings anymore. All other browsers are fine, I dont have ram issues it's just ff...

Hi, We create pdf files within a Filemaker database then send them via mapi to Thunderbird. After an automatic update from Thunderbird 78.14.0 to 91.2.0 an error would occur every 5 or 6 mapi emails sent as follows:

SEND MESSAGE ERROR Sending of the message failed. There was an error attaching Email.pdf. Please check that you have access to the file.

After investigation I finally noticed that on the failed messages the copy of the attachment inside the temp/moz_mapi folder would disappear before I was able to complete the email i.e. fill in who it was going to, add a subject and any further content. On successful messages only after I has sent the email successfully was the attachment deleted from the moz_mapi folder.

This morning I have reproduced the issue on a clean Window 10 Pro computer by installing v78.14.0 (both 32 & 63 bit versions) having all mapi emails sent successfully and then having the issue appear after updating to 92.2.0.

I believe I should create a bug report for this but can anyone shed any light?

    I have used the same signature file for awhile.  After 10.01.2021 Thunderbird client for Windows 10 does not insert the signature file when I want to write and send an email. Hi, I have a Brother MFC9340MFC that i can use for scanning documents directly as an attachment to my emails. For years now, Outlook has been my only email client so the attachments went there directly. Since i installed Thunderbird (option" install Thunderbird as my standard email client" has been deactivated during installation). The Brother application does not give solutions for choices between emailclients. I removed Thunderbird, and again the scanned documents were attached to my Outlook client, as before. After installing again Thunderbird (not installing it as my standard email client) the scans for email go again automatically to Thunderbird email client. Brother helpdesk told me it is in the Thunderbird system. However, after having read many posts, i still haven't found the option to choose the email client where the scans should land in. Nor the deactivation for receiving emails from a scan apparatus.

Who can help me finding a solution?
