Hello, I installed the Firefox 158.8 update on my iMac (macOS Sequoia 15.8.1) today. All websites are working as usual, except for Amazon Prime Video; it loads once and then freezes. I can't perform any actions on the page—everything remains unresponsive. I can't enter a different URL in the address bar or reload the page, either. The only thing I can do is close the page. I’ve cleared the cache and disabled ad blockers, but nothing changes. Strangely, this doesn't happen with Firefox on my MacBook. What could the problem be?

Password Primary Password: i had to change it, i went to go online, and my password i use to log in, so that mozilla imputs my saved passwords, says it's not the password, so i had to get a new password to log into my passwords. Still does not work to see my passwords nor can i log in to get my password keeper to log me into my accounts.Just keeps booting me out as if it were the wrong password, i kept a snapshot of my new passwords. please email me when you post the answer, i have many passwords, probably all gone now.

It is really sad that there is no way to contact mozilla directly The update installed on my Windows 7 64 bit is now storing cookies for Proton Mail and that makes the storage amt increase from 29Kb to 78Kb and I am not happy that I can not find a way to remove or revert the update so detail steps to complete that process would be nice. As for my future use of Firefox and involvement with Mozilla I am very seriously considering NO further use of both and your claims are starting to become lies you are permitting tracking in my view of this behavior Community Members should not be dealing with these concerns GET OFF your lazy back side Mozilla

i have tried multiple extent ions to disable ai in the search box on Firefox an nothing works i still get ai. Again why does everyone think ai is so great. why again are people not given a choice like do you want or not want ai. HATE AI IN SAMSUNG GEMINI AND GOOGLE do not want ai anywhere ion my computer or i phone and please let me know if there is an addon or extensions in Firefox to not see it in my searches in google searches

The new update is reminiscent of the early days - too artsy, colorful and distracting. I appreciate FF and want to continue using it. I'd prefer not to have to use code to do this, I don't understand it or what might go wrong. thank you!

What in the world have you done to Firefox??? It is so screwed up that it is impossible to log in. What used to be a wonderful way to cruise the web somewhat safely has turned into an impossible adventure. After several weeks trying to work around what appears to be bad code, I gave up and went to Opera. I've often wondered if people from competitors to Firefox have infiltrated its ranks to intentionally destroy it. It has happened before and certainly appears to have happened again.

My att currently home page is screwed up from your latest firefox update. The main news display is blank and all the news displays are small and all stacked up on one side.

I always use C Cleaner to clear unneeded my unneeded data once a month. It does not usually affect my Firefox shortcuts on the Firefox homepage. It was also after Firefox had updated to version 158.0 . I did this on Wednesday (14th October) and all of my pinned Firefox shortcuts have gone missing. They have not come back, and no other shortcuts are being shown after I have since visited any websites. What has happened to them? Will this be corrected? Regards John

Currently I am trying to use the firefox built in VPN option. When I hit the turn on it turns on and goes green but I am unable to browse. I suspect this is due to the corporate firewall and content filters that are in place when I am in the office. The firewall team is looking for support as we are unable to find out what access is needed to be open for this service to work. What IP's does the service connect to for access? What ports are use for setting up that browser level VPN? Is their any application or urls that should be allowed? If documentation for what access is needed to be opened on a corporate firewall would be appreciated. We have searched extensively and cannot find the information other than this runs by Fastly. We cannot find ports/urls/ips that are needed.

Firefox freezes some seconds or some minute after I open the program, I end task and wait to reopen the program, opening up the program it continues to freeze. I've reset firefox multiple times, cleared cache & webdata, completly uninstalled FF and reinstalled it, doesn't solve it. Starting firefox in troubleshooting mode also freezes and hangs. After end tasking firefox multiple times it eventually stops freezing but during the next day when I open the browser the issue returns, The same goes after I reinstalled it after uninstalling it, works for the rest of the day but the next day the issue returns. Background: I switched from chrome to Firefox some months ago and imported webdata from chrome to FF.

Whenever I use FireFox to watch Twitch, majority of chat just never appears until I refresh the site... It was working good until some month ago...

I use the extension BTTV to get extra emotes on twitch. And it was working perfectly, some say that is the issue, so I removed it to test, but still FireFox is not loading all messages... What can be done to fix this? Just use another browser?

Hi! I´m using Jdownloader2. After an update of Firefox the captcha-extension of JDownloader didn´t work anymore. I reinstalled Firefox, but adding the extension is still prevented. Following quote appears: "Firefox hat die Website daran gehindert, Sie zu fragen, ob Software installiert werden soll" It should be in yellow (but it isn´t), like following site describes: https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/Add-ons-koennen-nicht-installiert-werden#w_firefox-hat-die-website-daran-gehindert-sie-zu-fragen-ob-software-installiert-werden-soll Furthermore there should be a button to authorize the installation. Instead there is only the button "OK". I followed the help-site mentioned above to the letter, to no avail. By the way, I´m using Nightly now, but JDownloader2 automatically wants access to Firefox. So each time this pos browser updates I have to comb through ALL of the setting to see what their stupid brains though was a good idea to change for me? What kind of dirty underhanded BS is this? Mozilla is going to CHANGE my settings, NOT only to AUTO FREAKING OPEN like no one will notice this, now I have to spend time seeing if someone hacked my system. Well turns out, it was permission given I am sure through BS EULA. How is this not against the law?

Firefox icon issue

There are two websites. On my PC, one of them displays its icons correctly everywhere: on tabs, in Firefox Suggest, and in the browsing history. However, the other website only displays its icon on tabs.

On my phone, the situation is reversed: the website that displays its icons correctly on my PC doesn't show them on my phone, while the website whose icon only appears on tabs on my PC displays its icons correctly on my phone.

I've tried various solutions on my PC, including removing the website from my browsing history and creating a new favicon file, but the problem persists.

Please change my settings back to where important cookies aren't deleted! Now, every time I go to a regular trusted website (i.e. - to pay a bill) I have to register all over again! How do I change it?
