I used to be able to press Enter in the empty Firefox search bar to bring up the (DuckDuckGo) search page and enter my search from there. Don't ask me why I like doing that, but now after the latest Firefox update, 128.0, on my MacBook Air I can't do that anymore. I have to type in the search bar to bring up the search page.

I know it's a small thing but I wonder if it can be put back to the way it used to be.

Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play any samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. When I click the word "Sample" Audible opens up a new tab with their Web player and I always get an error message that is just a rectangular box with an exclamation mark inside a triangle on the left side of the box. (Screenshot attached.) There are no words inside the box and the only option is to close the tab. Since there is no actual message I'm not sure what the problem is.

Playing samples used to work fine when you could play them within their web page before Audible changed its system. I seem to be able to play samples on Audible's Web player in Chrome, but would prefer to keep Firefox as my default browser. I have tried deleting all history, cookies and cache; closing and reopening Firefox; turning phone off and starting again after an hour. I've also tried enabling autoplay, but that made no difference. I was thinking that the issue may be with my other settings within Firefox, but I can't tell. Any help you can provide would be great. I am having issues signing in to the playstation store using firefox. It works on edge (although I have the same issue in ungoogled chromium). I have tried refreshing but that didn't work. I uninstalled it and deleted all mozilla folders in appdata, then tried again without signing in to my mozilla account on a fresh install but i'm still having the issue. It might be a windows configuration issue because I don't see why this would work on edge but not on firefox. I've tried disabling all cookie and tracking protection features but I still have the same issue.

The latest Firefox update has made it impossible for me to log into https://www.discover.com/ I consistently receive the following error message: "Your account cannot currently be accessed. Outdated browsers can expose your computer to security risks. To get the best experience on Discover.com, you may need to update your browser to the latest version and try again. For questions, please contact us at 1-800-347-7769. We're always available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

Pop up blocker in the address bar has been manually turned off and antivirus VPN has been manually turned off. Discover has told me the problem is with the browser not their website. I can access the account via one of the less secure browsers (edge) but am not comfortable with that company and would prefer this glitch being fixed if possible. As of today and today only Firefox refuses to show my homepage like it's supposed to, and instead it only shows some strange webpage I have never seen before saying "Account not found".

I opened my website on Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox on my iPhone with zero issue. However, I have check Firefox for desktop on two different computers, and been shown the same page.

I have already cleared my cache, history and cookies. I also uninstalled Firefox and did a fresh install, only to have the same problem.

I'm just really confused what happened as this has never happened before. I got scared someone hijacked my website, but that wouldn't make sense since it's working on everything but Firefox on my desktop. I've just never seen this "Account not found" page before and this page has nothing to do with my website, domain, or hosting. My website and domain are all on Squarespace.

I forgot my primary password and a double password system is a pain. I would like to eliminate the primary password, Can it be done w/o losing other data I hope.. Thanks for ANY help Email removed for privacy reasons

I am using a windows 10x64bit desktop and I want to find a 32 bit version of Firefox for my laptop which uses Windows 7 x32bit. I have tried the download for customising, ie set it for Win7/8 but the version which is downloaded reflects on the laptop that that version can only be used on a Win 10 computer. Please give me a link where I can find the 32 bit version of Firefox meant for Win 7. THANK YOU.

When I scroll down the page on MSN and try to open a link in a new tab the page jumps back to the top. It then opens a link of another article that I never right/left click on. I have my mouse set up to left click to open a new tab. Does not occur on any other sites.

Hi! When I bring up my Firefox browser it automatically shuts down and comes up again with two issues: 1. Do you want to restore pages? 2. A red striped URL with the little robot and the error message: browser is under remote control reason devtools

I've read all the postings and I don't understand many of what they are suggesting and those that I do, don't work. Please help p.s. I've already downloaded the newest version.

browser.cache.disk.enable, is re-enabling itself on every Firefox update. WHY?! I disable disk caching and SSL caching because I use a fast NVMe SSD and I don't want to use up all the write cycles to it.. cookies caching is fine with me...

It has been doing this on every update for a while now.. this is annoying and not ok.. please fix.

Updated my Win 11 laptop with latest changes and find the fonts on pages and on tabs is all messed up. I've tried Settings to choose larger size, set defaults to Arial and/or Arial Round .... does not help.

How do I either fix this, or undo this update, or is there a fix coming ASAP??

Hello, Today I was writing a draft post on Substack and the screen refreshed every few seconds. Possibly when Substack was saving changes. Each time it did this, the screen would go blank for an instant and refresh, and then I would have to click to place my cursor where it had been.

This is new as of this week. I was not writing on Substack using Firefox last week.

When playing any Ren'Py web build on Firefox Windows, the frames freeze while entering inputs. Depending on what is being displayed on screen, sometimes it will still continue despite the mouse movement, but most things just completely freeze up. Once the inputs stop, the frames will skip ahead to where they should be. This only seems to happen on Windows, as I was told it is not repeatable on Ubuntu using Firefox. This is also not an issue on Chromium based browsers.

Has there been an influx of blue as the preferred icon color the latest years?

With somewhat degraded eyes, this has started to become a problem for me.

I want to have Firefox Developer edition installed, but I have to settle for the standard edition. Why ? Because the standard edition has a distinct orange icon. I am not able to quick glance at the task bar and see the difference between what window is Firefox Dev (blue icon), Outlook (blue icon), VSCode (blue icon), Azure Data Studio (blue icon), WebStorm (blue icon), 1Password (blue icon) or MS Edge (blue icon).

My problem is that my web browser (in this case Firefox) is the application I most often switch back and forth between and the struggle is real... I have to spend a lot of time looking at the task bar to acuatlly be able to see what icon is Firefox Developer Edition.

I don't need this as a feature in Firefox, necessarily, just some tips or tricks if there is any icons in the program folder e.g. I can swap out.
