The text selection toolbar (often just called the text selection menu or contextual selection toolbar) is used throughout my Android/Samsung phone. It appears whenever you long-press text, a textbox, or URL bar, and shows actions like Paste, Copy, Select all, and sometimes Extract text depending on your keyboard/OEM.

In the lastest Android Firefox app update, the "Clipboard" option is no longer present in the app on the contextual selection toolbar.

This is a major inconvenience. I'm a longtime Firefox user and this missing feature is a huge inefficiency problem. This means I cannot easily use text copied or cut from elsewhere on my phone and easily access it without individually and tediously copying and pasting individual text content.

I find US date format utterly confusing. I want change settings so that my Thunderbird email is in UK date format. 1 - How can I do this please? 2 - If the answer to 1) is "you can't yet" then how soon will this option be made available?

I have had a signature for some time (some text and a Jpg) created in word and saved as html always worked. Just made a change to the working and now it will not display the attached jpg.....I open word. (2003) type text, insert logo pic, resize pic, hit save as ,,,html.....open thunderbird and choose that saved file under the account settings, go to inbox and hit write and signature text is there but just a blank box where logo should be. I have tried everything....please help (windows 11)

In my current version of Thunderbird, new messages show a dark blue subject line only until I click on them. After I open the message once, the blue highlight disappears. Is this the normal behavior now?

Is there any way to extend that same dark‑blue highlight to other emails as its really helpful to provide good contrast between individual emails.

[DESKTOP VERSION] The font display size in the email composition window is at least 2 'clicks' smaller that what is actually displayed in the received email. When writing an email I need to do a double Ctrl+"+" in order for the text to be easy to ready. When I read the sent email (sometimes I need to send emails between accounts - I have 14 between my business domain and my personal domain), the text that I entered is the proper size. I can easily see this because of the graphic image in my signature, which is the same size in the composition window as it is in the received email. See attached composite graphic.

I want Thunderbird to stop marking everything I delete as having been read. The way it works now, if I accidentally delete mail that I haven't read yet it's much more difficult to find it when everything is marked read even when it wasn't. I searched everywhere and haven't come up with a solution for this. It was reported as a bug years ago and was never fixed.

Is there any way to disable the ai summary feature on the mobile version of Firefox? I despise it , and if Firefox continues adding ai features, I’ll just uninstall

I have Thunderbird 148.0 with windows 11. I have 5 email accounts. How do I turn off those unwanted and unneeded notifications of email messages. There are TONS of them and they are very irritating and serve no useful purpose that I can see.

After installing thunderbird, It takes me hours to figure out that my fonts are too small because of one value in Settings > General > Language & Fonts > Fonts > Advanced > Fonts for Other writing systems gives a too small number.

It seems insane and I don't think users can easily get there. Maybe some users want to set different fonts for different languages and the "Fonts for ..." is for them. However, for most users who just want to change their font size, I don't think it's a good experience to going so deep and find an option in the loooong "Fonts for ..." list.

So please give users a simple option where I can just set my font size without such pain.

I know there's a font size option in TB menu but it doesn't work as expected. In my case, the font size shown in TB menu is 16 while the font size of my plain text emails is 12. And 1. email font sizes will change to TB menu size as long as TB menu font size is not 16. For example, when changing TB menu font size 15 -> 16 -> 17, email text just suddenly goes from 15 to as small as 12, and then from 12 to 17. 2. email font size seems changing with the TB menu font size. However, email text font size will go back to what it was when open another email.

In both my desktop older installation (now updated) and my new laptop installation, when I go thru Account Settings and check off what I want, it all changes when I leave the setup. I uncheck the startup page, and when I open both versions of Bird, the startup page is there again. Same with table/card setup, and other options. Isn't there a "save" in Account settings? Currently trying to find a solution to my firefox browser not responding to the errors in my text. Spell checkign seems to be unavailable on all pages.

I am on the latest Version 144.0.2 (64-bit), have box checked "Check Your Spelling" and have the langauge selected to UK GB English.

Also tried about:config in address bar. Then checked layout.spellcheckDefault and the results are default 2, true and true. I adjusted this number from 1 as directed on a previous help ticket.

Can anyone assist me?

I am getting exhausted with Firefox changing my configurations when updating. I always turn off automatic update for all software I use. I even turn off Windows updates. These updates always break something I regularly use and offer me little if anything that improves my experience.

Recently, the update modified my configurations to allow automatic updating. So I had to turn that off. A recent update removed the simple "!gm" shortcut to Google Maps. I had to create a new shortcut for Google Maps so I could type into the URL bar something like "!gm Missouri" to get the map to display. It wasn't displaying before this and returned search results like "General Motors". Ugh.

Can't Firefox stop updating my configurations and making life difficult for me?
