Some websites won't load at all while other are very slow to load but some will load just fine, example Crunchyroll (screenshot attached) won't load at all its just spinning loading icon and a white page but if I try it in a different browser it works just fine, but with Youtube it will load but is choppy and low quality videos and same thing as before I load it in a different browser and no problems. I have tried every possible solution I can find from clearing cookies and cache to refreshing Firefox even scanned for malware and virus nothing has worked please help me figure out what is happening and why it's only with Firefox that I am having this problem and its not hardware can play online just fine and download games from steam perfectly fine.

Hello. My tablet, has limited memory, due to its age. I am now finding that one of the main reasons why it is so slow is because whenever I open firefox, it opens multiple firefox processes which drain the memory and in some cases crashes the system. I have followed all the advice given to reduce these multiple processes, however nothing seems to work and at least 6-8 firefox processes open each time I open it. I have unchecked the recommended performance settings as well as hardware acceleration boxes. However, I cannot find where to set the content process limit to 1. Please tell me how to do this and if there anything else I can try to stop it opening multiple processes or I may be forced to ditch Firefox altogether for an alternate such as Bing, Chrome or DuckDuckGo. If I'm on a website and let's say I'm reading an article and I'm midway, if I switch to another app momentarily for a few seconds (eg go to a messenger app to send a quick message) most of the time when I get back to Firefox it seems to reload the app and refreshes the page. This makes me lose my scroll position and progress. This doesn't happen on other browsers like Vivaldi,it feels like aggressive memory management. Please fix this if possible because I don't think it's my phone's issue , I have a Xiaomi 14 Ultra with 16gb of ram and Android 16 (latest hyper os 3.0.3)!

Will this fricking "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional" B.S. ever be fixed? Firefox didn't have this issue for years now for almost a year every time Firefox starts up on a cold boot I get this idiotic non-sense message!. I have to close the browser I JUST OPENED and reopen in. This error is pure B.S. as again cold boot, just launched there is NOTHING other than Firefox that might be accessing the various sql.db's...so if this message is to be believed Firefox is blocking Firefox from Firefox... FIX THIS!

i am trying to type this message on firefox, but i have to avoid shift key not to interrupt typing. when i hot shift+some other keys like i, b, v, etc, devtools pop up. i have checked other forums, other q&a on firefox support, and concluded that the same issue have occurred to many users regardless of the os, features, extensions, various keyboards (but not the virtual one for me) or system settings. i have to type a lot in the browser, so i just choose to delete firefox until someday the issue is fixed.

Frequently when I hibernate my laptop firefox prevents its (as soon as it enters sleep it wakes up)

when I close firefox it hibernates fine

when I go to powercfg /REQUESTS its the audio card that is driving the wake up

In settings I have turned media.video-wakelock. to FALSE etc and firefox still wakes the computer

I have been using Thunderbird for many years, and it's been a while since I cleaned out my Inbox & Folders. I get about 1200 emails a week, so the clutter is extreme. Yet it is still stable, and now I am waiting to see at what level it falls over. Currently I have 84,544 emails in my Inbox, 131,597 in the Junk Folder,33,718 in Archives, 13,388 in another Inbox, and a whole heap which get deleted when I compact the system.

I reckon compacting it has got rid of another 200,000 or so this year.

Do Mozilla really have no idea why their browser is considered a better alternative to other browsers? Why do they insist on making their browser WORSE for the sake of jumping on the latest stupid tech trend!? Some new tech that makes everything it's used in perform considerably worse? Oh boy sounds like the perfect thing for firefox! If this keeps up I'm looking into a browser that's at least more open about the fact it doesn't care.

Of 3 macs in the house, all on OS12, the one on ethernet to the ISP has been failing regularly: 1.) fails to collect history 2.) fails to present long-time home page 3.) if it does boot-up properly, expected behavior slows down markedly during a session on the computer (Usually rebooting the entire machine restores this. This morning even that didn't work.)

This version is very slow when opened ... it seaches through for various emails (gmail and Outlook) and snags on something called 'Checking Mail Server Capabilities'. Other issues include a slow copy to the Send folder once an email has been sent. I am not a technical person, been using TBird for many years and until now have really enjoyed its capabilities

Is there a known related issue? Overall the performance is very poor ... I use a series 7 processor and have WiFi speeds in excess of 100 MB.

a black box appears over the search box when mouse is moved over the tab. Tried in safe and troubleshoot mode. Box still appears only in white I did find an answer previously but reinstalled firefox and the fix was lost. Problem resolved.

Thunderbird version: 146.0 Platform: Windows 11 Email Provider: Google workspace

I'm slowly persuading my wife to move over from outlook to Thunderbird (due to constant issues with google sync). I've got it all setup nicely and working BUT i'm having a real issue with the thunderbird calendar taking an absolute age to populate It is quite a well used calendar with lots of recurring events/reminders to pay bills etc. Just to get the Holidays in United Kingdom takes about 30 seconds and to populate from the gmail calendar takes around 8 minutes

It's the one stumbling block i'm finding to persuade her to move over so any advice that can be given would be greatly appreciate
