Hi. When I go to YouTube.com on the Firefox mobile browser, I cannot for the life of me find my notifications. On the Firefox PC browser, there is a bell icon in the top right of the screen, but not only is it missing in the mobile browser, I cannot find any button or section labeled "notifications." Please advise.

Moving a bookmark on Firefox on mobile device when opening the bookmark edit if you want to move a bookmark for example for Mobile bookmarks to Desktop bookmarks:

In my case I first click edit, click on the location and edit > Folder and I am showed unlike when I browse my bookmarks where folders are closed, all folders in hierarchy are opened which make for an endless scrolling for minutes trying to find the folder I want to move my bookmark to, as a poweruser who has thousands of folders and bookmarks.

There are ofher browsers where this is reversed and easier to move a bookmark because all folders are closed. Is this a feature that can be added to Firefox?

Also the setting saying you can display bookmarks on home screen, actually its a scrolling banner with most recently saved bookmarks. I miss the old classic Firefox where you could set your new tab and home page as your bookmarks list making it super easy and quick to get everything you need right in front of you without needing extra steps to enter your bookmark lists.

If this is not the right forum please direct me where I can forward this feature request

Every time I try to go full screen on firefox for the youtube site, it will quit the Firefox app, or turn into a black screen with a tiny bit in the corner, or go into the wrong orientation. After maybe the third to fifth try of full screening, it will finally work. I had this issue with the firefox app for all my phones (all Oppo, so unsure if this is device specific). Thank you for looking into it!

I left a review and was asked to post this here so here goes. Firefox on android is currently the highest user of power on my Google Pixel 8 android phone. From the battery usage data (since last full charge) Firefox has used: Screen time: 2hrs 33mins Background: 5hrs 46mins Totalling 19% battery usage. Even though I turned OFF allow app to run in background!! Before I turned this off, the battery usage was similar. In comparison: WhatsApp -the next highest- is: Screen time: 1hr 42mins Background: 17hrs 52mins Totalling 14% battery usage. With allow app to run in background ON.

The only thing I can think of causing this is the annoying (in my opinion) way that Firefox does not close down all open tabs when I close the app (by hitting the square control button and hitting clear all open apps button) are they still keeping Firefox running in the background as they refresh?

PLEASE add a setting to close all tabs when closing the app. When I close Firefox on my PC and then open it again, I don't get my old tabs, so it must be possible to do on android.

Hello, I realized today that when I want to search in Firefox mobile on Google something and want to add something, that it's impossible especially if your last search contained only one word. If it contains more as one it will erase the space and merge the words. I usually use opera on mobile so I never had this problem, but sometimes do I use also Firefox and now did I saw this problem. I attached a video to this post (it won't be there forever, but I will try to let it there for a while).

The video shows when you searched for "Jeans" and want to expand it to "Jeans red" the word Jeans is erased, just gone, no editing possible. The end of the video shows, when you have multiple words like "skinny jeans in red" and you want to edit it or add something, the "in red" gets merged to "inred".

There is some strange behavior happening. My active extensions:

  1. Dark reader
  2. Ublock Origin
  3. Auto scroll to top/bottom

Video: Google drive link with video

OOT: Btw: I dislike that you can't hold your finger here on a word to select it, I wanted to select my text to check my English through my translator. The editor doesn't allow Text selection by touch :( that is not nice. (Lol.... I could double tap the "oot" to select it and make it in caps, but now I can't do it again 🙃 very strange editor here!)

Hi,

Firefox android provides no master password/primary password protection so passwords in the Firefox password manager are protected only by your lockscreen swipe(yeah, I thought the same thing you just thought).

I need full protection like on Desktop or I can't sync my passwords to Firefox. However, when temporarily enabling password sync on desktop, for example between two desktop devices it also temporarily enables it on android Firefox that you might have synced as well. The upshot of this for me is that I now have all my passwords on android without wanting them there for the above reasons.

So, how do I remove all passwords on my firefox android, without having to reinstall Firefox on the phone?

Trying to set up sync on my freshly reset Pixel 8a (on Android 16) and did reset as I was failing to log in in the first place.

Either password authentication or scanning QR takes me to the MFA prompt and end up with "Bad Request" "Something went wrong, please close this tab and try again"

Have tried numerous times!

Whilst viewing news stories in Google, I keep getting pages that do not load, so I go to settings – apps- Firefox, scroll down to memory and clear the cache. I go bag to Google new click the link and most of the time I am taken to the page and can read the article (but not every time). But the page not loading happens frequently and it is becoming a pain having to clear the cache over and over again. Is there a shortcut I can use to reach Firefox memory or is there a way of stopping Firefox to clear the cache as it is created.

I would like to request that you urgently add more languages to your roster for translation especially Japanese! I would think that this day and age these language was would be fairly easy to add since there's so many different libraries and this has been done and is offered on so many other browsers. My otherwise really enjoy your product and would like to offer my gratitude and appreciation for Mozilla Firefox and the effort and work you guys have put in. Quality product keep up the good work!
