I cannot seem to add a bookmark from my iPhone. I have done everything on my phone to try and fix it. It just closes the menu and i open it back up and it closes again when i click it. I even checked every folder and link i had and the website i am saving is not there. EVERY other button works to my knowledge, or at least everything i usually use. I am beyond confused and feel i am doing something wrong but i am unsure. I would add a photo but idk how to add a photo of the UI not properly working on my phone.

Nothing is wrong on my computer. Well not anymore. I used to always randomly for no reason lose bookmarks when i moved anything around and had to export them often which i do anyways luckily. It was so bad i had to switch browsers on my computer and phone but tried Firefox again and it seemed to be fixed. But now this is happening. When i mouse wheel click the bookmark folder, it always switches to the first tab when doing so. This notably doesn't happen when i click the non-folder bookmark. Is there a way not to have this behavior ?

When I search for something, the location bar no longer shows the address and the star to add bookmarks unless I click on a little globe. I installed a Firefox update not long ago but this has only just happened. I'd like to be able to just bookmark searches like I used to.

I have a lot of bookmarks and lot means A LOT OF. When I add any bookmark to a specific folder, then the list becomes a mess. I can't find any folder easily where I want to add new bookmark. It's so inconvenient and time-consuming. So, I request you to please address this issue and improve the bookmark section. I'll be very thankful to you.

I have a folder with many bookmarks in it, and when I want to open multiple links in the folder but not ALL of them, I have to keep opening the bookmarks folder after middle clicking each link 1 at a time. I can't open the entire folder - there are 100+ and say I want to open 10.

Is there a way to keep the bookmark folder open while I open each link in new tabs?

Recently switched from Chrome and in Chrome I would open my "Other Bookmarks" folder and middle click a bunch of bookmarks which would open them up in a new tab without switching to that tab or closing the "Other bookmarks" folder.

Is there a way I can replicate this on Firefox? Because at the moment, middle clicking the bookmarks does nothing. This is not about the bookmarks bar at the top.

I used to use Firefox as my standard browser until this issue occurred some years ago. I can no longer add, edit, or see any bookmarks I previously had. When I start the browser, I'm met with an error message (see below), which then sends me to the site in the image below. The title roughly translates to: "The System for Bookmarks and Browser History is Non-Functional". I've tried following these steps in the past with no change regarding this issue, and I've had to switch back to Chrome. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, but the issue persists.

Has anyone else encountered this?

After exporting bookmarks.html from Ffox on old computer, importing it to Ffox on the new one, all good, except that bookmarks toolbar shows on the imported list but doesn't display as toolbar.

Old computer crashed....so lost all my bookmarks and their folders. Now in Windows 11 and I can make bookmarks for my Fox toolbar but I can't find where I can created folders for my bookmarks. Can I still do it and if so how?

Is there a way to permanently set sorting from A-Z? When I open a file & go to site, I then have to reset sorting within the folder when I go back. Using down arrow sends me to the next folder. Have been Mozilla user for decades but didn't open account until recently. Always set to my default, even on latest PC, in conjunction with other programs. Don't like Microsoft programs.

Guess I probably owe Mozilla a donation but have tight budget, as Sr. on Social Security. Maybe I can contribute a small amount if that would help?? Don't want a subscription. Can't afford it.

I used to have Bookmarks in a particular order based upon the most frequently used ones vs others plus, I also had rhem grouped according to websites associated with them and their relevance.

Now, I can no longer edit their order back to what I had before.

The current selection for sorting does have any way to customize them either.

Is there a work around or app that will provide the capability to order them as 'I' need them to be?

Firefox is the default browser on my Dell Inspiron laptop which runs Windows 11 Pro. I have several bookmarks in my bookmarks manager that I'd like to copy to my desktop; how do I do that?

I have multiple duplicate "Other Bookmarks" folders populating my "Bookmarks" folder. I can't seem to get rid of them. Any solutions? If I delete one folder will all be deleted? Windows 10, Firefox 140.0
