Today Firefox stopped altogether and dimmed the entire window and popped up a "Try the Firefox VPN" message. I use Firefox specifically to get away from disruptive, intrusive violations like that. This needs to be removed immediately and never ever happen again. It's completely antithetical to the core values of Firefox.

This affected me on Windows 10 running Firefox 113.0.2 64 bit.

When I scroll down to look at recent posts on Facebook groups I follow all but the top one has suddenly lost its date/time – I just get a blank where the details would usually be and have to hover over to reveal the details. The silly thing is that this only happens when I sign in and it doesn’t happen when I use chrome – although I prefer using Firefox, not least because the bookmarks sidebar is better. I have tried getting rid of all extensions and running in troubleshoot mode but without success. Any help/advice would be appreciated (as long as it is not about football!)

When I go to youtube.com in firefox it redirects me to https://secure.winred.com/save-america-joint-fundraising-committee/google031723/?utm_medium=ad&utm_source=ci_d_google&utm_content=kw002_na&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIx7rq04KK_wIV4-jjBx34MgztEAAYASAAEgKXMfD_BwE&exitintent=true. This only happens in firefox, not chrome or edge. How can I prevent this from happening?

Add the Play background option to videos and audio, pre-installed in settings, as it is in the Brave browser. The current Background Video Playback add-on does not fully play all video and audio background playback features, it does not fully work. I'm trying to migrate from Chrome to Firefox browser. I cant load Twitter and some other links. I get error message. JavaScript not enabled. I can't find a setting anywhere to enable it. Help!!

I've asked this question a long time ago, and received no answers. I resorted to resetting it every time, however a new problem has come about, forcing me to ask again.

Whenever I open my browser, my tabs have reset themselves to default width. I prefer them at a wider width, so I navigate to about:config and edit the browser.tabs.tabMinWidth to 100. I have to do this every time.

However, for some reason doing this now also hides/removes tab close buttons on each tab, which is problematic to my style of browsing.

I had an userCSS file, but even after removing it as a test, the problem persists. If it matters, my style of browsing has me keep two windows open at any given time. I did try to change it with only one window open, but the change did not stick.

Only tab-specific add-ons I have are FoxyTab and a tab suspender.

Any help is appreciated, be it making sure the tab close buttons do not disappear, or be it making sure the tabs remain at minimum of 100 width.

I have attempted to watch DRM using content that I have the rights to via subscription as well as by purchase. When I attempt to stream movies I OWN via Vudu or Youtube, it tells me that DRM features are not active when they very much are. I checked my settings and DRM content is enabled. I have also run into the same issue with Netflix as well. I cleared out my browser cache, which did not help. I disabled and re-enabed the DRM options. This did not help either. I restarted my computer multiple times and this did not help either.

Firefox says it is installing the features needed to watch the content but it never does, or rather, it doesn't show any progress. I have left my computer and browser running overnight and not had success.

What is the "Find in page" toolbar called?

The 113.0.1 update (sic) moved it to the bottom of my page. I want to search for a way to restore it back to the upper part of the page (probably using userChrome).

(Note: I was happy with my setup in 112.0.2)

Please help. My seamless syncing is not seamless. Laptop has win11, version 114, all the necessary options, but my phone has no in-browser scan accessed through the missing 'sync and save data' option. I remain a loyal (2004) user. Thank you
