I tried change setting and it it did not help. After the update, it was ok, but now after last update I have the same problem. Thunderbird sometimes delete all inbox in imap account (imap.wp.pl  ; ~5400 emails on account) and download everythink again. How to repair that?

We have a site that for some reason just started getting blocked by FireFox's Tracking content setting in private browsing mode. We have a Production build that still works but our QA build does not. For the life of my I can't figure out what changed that would have triggered Tracking content to start blocking the site. Basically the site will load but we only get a blank page.

Is there any way to debug what exactly the Tracking content filter is blocking?

Well let me begin by saying I 'LOVE MOZILLA AND THUNDERBIRD!'! Next I need help. I am not the brightest star in the computer sky. A kind phrase would be "Computer Challenged Olde Pharte". I want to escape Snoopy g-mail/Google & all the others including Facebook. But I have FOUR gmail addresses 1. church groups & the like; 2. E-pals Jokes & Stories; 3. JUnk Mail - all the stores that want your e-dress; & 4. e-Bay. I have Charter.net as my ISP. So they are where I get my T-bird emails. HOW can I or CAN I??? Get rid of gmail (I use Duck Duck Go for search engine) ??? Bless you all for what you do Being altruistic in this day & age is NOT easy!

More Explanation: My internet is provided by Charter/Spectrum. When I look at Thunderbird, it is on my charter email address. I have 4 gmail email addresses & 1 gmail Facebook address. Is there some way I can get e-mail accounts without having to use gmail, or hotmail, or the other big boyz? I guess I am okay with having to pay my widow's mite to an email provider who does not use all my communications to sell & otherwise profit from them. But how do I do that if it is possible? Sometimes when I respond to an incoming email the sender does not receive my reply. I also tested cc'ing myself (to another Gmail email account I own), and the email was not delivered to that email address either.

However, if I create a BRAND NEW email entirely (from scratch) with EXACTLY the same subject line and body as the original (I copy and paste from the original email to the new one to ensure its exactly the same) and send that to the SAME person who sent it to me, they receive it every time.

I don't understand the following:

(1) Why sometimes when I respond to an email the sender does receive it, while other times not... Appears to be completely random.

(2) Why the brand new email I create with exactly the same subject line and body works every time when responding to the same sender.

Has anyone else experienced this?

When start picture-in-picture mode video starts in same resolution that set in player (for example 720p), but after 1-2 minutes resolution decrease to minimum available at current video(for example 240p). How i can prevent this?

I am afraid that I am very confused about the changes to this site. Are the FAQs the only way to learn about the changes, or is there some documentation I am not presently seeing?

Hi, I'm on a Mac, OS 10.15.7, using Thunderbird 78.7.1 (64-bit). Recently my Address Books disappeared from view. I can only see a list of all contacts in all address books. I cannot find a setting that allows me to see the 10 individual address books that I've set up over the years. If I ask to create a 'new' address book, I can see a listing of my other address books by I cannot access them. Can anyone help?

OK, I've selected automatic updates for Firefox. MacBook Air. So, I need to restart in order for the update to INSTALL. I can't just close and re-open Firefox to get the update. After I restarted, Youtube would not play. AGAIN. This happens with EVERY update. So, following instructions from an entry on the web, I erased my history. OK, now Youtube plays. But I notice I've lost my bookmarks in the process. I've mentioned this before. What's the secret to getting you experts to pay attention to this annoying, recurring thing? I would not have lost my bookmarks if I did not have to erase my history. Why can't updates be provided that will allow me to play youtube and KEEP my bookmarks--- like on every other day??? I've just found out that I did not need to install a special client as Thunderbird has a client integrated since years (in Nightly since March 2017, and possibly available in stable since Thunderbird 54).

But I'm quite puzzled that I've needed to manually set `chat.prpls.prpl-matrix.disable` to `false` to bring it up in the new chat account - What is the reason to still have this disabled (possibly there is none and a future version can remove that option altogether)?

I monitor 4 work email accounts with Thunderbird. I have recently moved my email server to office365. I can receive and view all accounts on Thunderbird platform but I can only send from one, which is the first one I set up after the change of servers. My work emails "bounce" of my website domain name and I am assured that all dns settings are correct. All securtiy, server and encryption settings are identical in every account (apart from the "name"@...). I can send from all accounts within office 365. I have tried a friends hotmail account in thunderbird and it works. I downloaded a free trial of "Mailbird" and it worked for the 365 accounts but I had to give it permission to to get the information from outlook. Do I maybe have to do the same with Thunderbird and if so HOW? I am using windows10 Pro and Thunderbird 78.7.1 (32bit). Any help appreciated, even the so called experts haven't yet been able to work this one out and I reckon it's quite possibly just a silly little setting somewhere or maybe a permission not granted. Lost emails in Thunderbird version 78.7.1 , I noticed this morning that all archived emails (at a minimum) prior to 2021 have disappeared. Most of my archived folders show as empty. I checked the forum for solutions and my computer does not have any of these folders set to "hidden".

It seems since the last update if I drag an image into the message body and try to resize it the image disappears. The image boundary box remains.

If I go to Format->ImageProperties and select Dimensions and select Custom Size and put in a dimension it will resize and I can now select a corner and resize the image within the message body.

In the last version or two there was no issue to select a corner and resize the image.

I have been having this issue since "upgrading" Thunderbird about 2 months ago. If I move received email messages to another (usually LOCAL) folder, the message continues to get downloaded from the server over and over and over. The ONLY option that prevents this cycle is deleting the message.

  For what it's worth, I am using Windows 10 Home (32-bit operating system, x64-based processor)

I want to know how do I select multiple emails in my sent folder, so that I can copy all the emails addresses from the selected emails all at once and then past them into a new email as an email to go to all of the recipients I am sending it to?

Is there an option to do this in Thunderbird?

I have around 500 emails in my email sent folder, many are not saved in my address book, so instead of spending hours and hours of selecting each individual email, copying the email address and then saving it it or pasting it to a new email, is there a way to do this all in one sitting. Thank you.

Hello, I want to open a new eBay store. I started on eBay a few months ago and then I was blocked and now I need to change the ip so as not to be blocked again, I used the grinder they give recycled cloud servers and I was blocked every time because probably someone before used the ip address and was blocked, I wanted to ask is the proxy for me? Will I block using proxy? I wanted to ask if it is possible to do the Israeli proxi? Thanks for the help
