Hello. After a reinstallation of W10, I imported in Firefox the file "bookmarks.html" that I saved before this installation. Usually it works very well, but this time, there are no more bookmarks in my menu after the import than before ! It looks as there was nothing in my file Bookmarks.html, however I am sure that this file is complete because I verified it in Excel (.csv). What happens ?... Thank you by advance to the community ! Hello,

Whenever I search for a particular bookmark in the address bar, the first result is the general URL address of the bookmark (which I don't want) and the second is the bookmark (which I want) : https://user-media-prod-cdn.itsre-sumo.mozilla.net/uploads/images/2020-10-18-05-34-48-9d41d0.png

Searching * steamdb doesn't really help, because the bookmark I want is still the second result after the search engine suggestion : https://user-media-prod-cdn.itsre-sumo.mozilla.net/uploads/images/2020-10-18-05-39-15-2031ad.png

This issue affects all my bookmarks, not only this one.

I know I just have to hit the down arrow key to access the bookmark, but it would be infinitely more convenient if I could disable the first result (the general URL address of the bookmark).

Win 7 Pro, 64-bit, FF 81.0.2, 32-bit.

It appears that FF will not permit me to enter a duplicate bookmark. However, there are times when I would like the same bookmark to appear in more that one location. Is there a way to do this?

Dear community, does anybody know a mean to collapse the individual folders of the bookmark list when editing bookmarks?

I sync my bookmarks from the desktop browser - therefore I've got a lot of nested bookmark folders.

When I try to stash away a new bookmark on my android device I get the full expanded list of my bookmark folders, which makes it difficult to find the correct base folder.

Thanks for ideas !

Hi there, I reset my computer to the factory settings and I thought that my google account will hold all my saved bookmarks, that I need only to sign in and find them again in the bookmark manager. I can't find them anymore and there is no backup file as the comp was restored. Is it possible to get them back somehow? Some of them were quite important. Thank you very much.

Firefox is my default browser. It’s bookmark manager is incredible! However, I have many Firefox (and other browser) exported files I need to consolidate. The Firefox bookmark manager is so good I can drag and drop bookmarks from these other files into Firefox.

I want to consolidate these bookmarks using the Firefox bookmark engine, but not by interfering with the bookmarks currently in Firefox. Also, since this will take a while, I don’t want to export my current Firefox bookmarks; clean out my current bookmarks; and spend the next two weeks using other browsers while I employ Firefox to clean up my bookmark situation.

Three Questions 1) Can I bring up another/unique Firefox window (like an earlier version; a separate window; a second install that I can open/close separate from the install I’m using now) that I can scrub clean of all bookmarks use it to rebuild all my bookmarks by dragging/dropping bookmarks from my many saved .html bookmark files--WITHOUT MESSING WITH MY CURRENT BOOKMARKS? 2) Alternatively, is it possible to just install the Firefox bookmark engine, separate from the Firefox browser? 3) Also, is there a simple way to instruct Firefox’s bookmark manager to delete duplicate bookmarks?

Thanks
