I have Thunderbird 144 and i have problem. I add pop3 account. New clean instalation Thunderbird. The name of Inbox is in Slovak "Doručená pošta" This is ok. Other folder have bad names. Not in Slovak but in English. Older versions Thunderbird not have this problem. Version 140 is ok. When I upgrade version 140 to 144 problem is here.... What about that?

I don’t see the translation option in the menu. I am running latest Firefox (148) on iOS Translation used to work yesterday

I have a Mac desktop running Seqouia 15.1.1, and I'm using Firefox, primarily.

Inside LinkedIn, the "see more" link is missing in people's profile sections. I can;t expand any of these sections to read them in full.

They are present in Chrome. They are present on my iPhone.

I've reset everything I can think of but nothing impacts it. Also, this is a fairly new problem. So, something updated that caused this but Idk what.

The attached images give examples.

1st image (FF): Where the "..." is, a "see more" text link should also appear. 2nd image (CH): "See more" is present.

Hello! Why do I get all of the Tools Menu in english when I've chosen Norsk Bokmål as standard language for my use at sites/streaming etc. What is the purpose of selecting the desired language if the tool options are only displayed in English?

I was previously successfully using the translate selection with the translate dialog automatically detecting the language of the selected text. Then, with that dialog open, I tried changing the from/to language - you know, just messing around - and now it refuses to automatically detect the language. It is now stuck on Tranlate to French. I've checked my settings page and my default language is English. Where is it getting the idea I'm French? Annoying af.

How can I get the automatic language selection to English as it previously was?

NOTE: As I was composing this request, I visited the Amazon store - as that's where I use the feature most - and noticed it's probably the tool itself that's broken recently as it was getting it right all the time before but now it's hit or miss. Again, annoying af especially because I've come to rely on this a lot. Please fix.

Overvejer at droppe Microsoft 365 til fordel for LibreOffice og Thunderbird, som begge er gratis og virker fint. Jeg vil høre om nogen der benytter Thunderbird kan få mails oversat automatisk eller ved at højreklikke og vælg oversæt, som det er muligt i Outlook Synes det er besværligt at skulle kopier teksten for at få den oversat. I have downloaded downloaded language packs English UK and French France, but when I spell check in Mozilla the only option in the open menu for language there is only English US to use even though the other two preferred languages have been downloaded. Am I missing a trick to activate the languages so that they show in my language menu when spell checking?

Very frustrating that I only have a default of US considering I am in France and use French and UK English.

A website I have accessed many times before now redirects me to an italian site. Is this because of the beta translation? I'd like to be able to go to the real site. mecaforpeace.org

Hello Forum, since yesterday I receive some emails by thunderbird only as a letter salad.

Ionos claims that this is no ionos issue...

I am using thunderbird 141.0 on Windows 11. But The problem ocurred already on Windows 10. Not all Emails are shown wrong only a few from different countries and sender. I have already tried to repair my inbox, checked the size of inbox folder (5,5mb) and reinstalled thunderbird. I have the profile folder in a different path on a different hdd.

I am desperate... Can you help me?

Somehow my app is not is Dutch or German (??) and I can’t figure out how to switch it back to English. Please respond with specific screenshots on how to update the language. It’s not in English so I will not be able to make the update without screenshots. I’m using the latest Firefox iOS app. Just updated.

Hello Frustrating.. I live in UK and want Thunderbird to work in English English but it keeps changing back to Canadian. I have been in settings and added English English and made it the default but TB keeps changing the setting and making Canadian the active language. How do I stop it?

TB 140.6.0esr (64-bit)

I changed computers and in order to make sure I could use TB on the new one, I updated the old computer from 120-something to 128.5.2, and then installed 128.5.2 on the new one as well. The transfer went okay - once I saw the video that explains how to do it - but when I sat down to write an R-T-L email, it didn't automatically R-T-L, and when I looked for the "switch-direction" button I was used to in the old TB, it wasn't there! I can write in Hebrew, (or Arabic), but I can't R-T-L the text. HELP? HELP! Thank you
