E-mail has always worked perfectly (Hotmail/Outlook.com), but my Calendar is still empty (it is not downloading the items I know that are in it). No idea what to do to get it synchronized. Provider for Exchange ActiveSync is installed and enabled.

For tab settings I have checked these: Open links in tabs instead of new windows When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately

In the past links opened in new tab immediately. But now some links open in SAME tab immediately. For example: I open https://www.pbs.org/livestream/ and start watching the livestream. When I click the link On Air Schedule It opens immediately in the same tab, which ends my livestream

For several weeks now, I have been unable to upload videos to a group in Facebook using Firefox. Previously, I posted a video almost daily. The loading wheel keeps spinning. This in Windows 11 Pro version 24H2 with Firefox 135.0 (64 bits).

I am on a web page and right click & select "View Page Source" that then opens in a NEW TAB with the source code. Then CTL F and select the string "mp3" to find. This then takes me to a position 142 characters to the right of the actual "mp3" location. Skipping back to actual location the "mp3" now appears as "blank". Very strange!!

I am on a Mac desktop running Ventura 13.7.3 and running Firefox 135 with extension of Ghostery, Privacy Badger, Google Don't Track Me, Facebook Container, FoxClocks and SoftGreenLeaves theme. All of these extensions have been playing nicely with each other for a long time.

Recently I've been having trouble recently with Firefox doing that thing of suddenly freezing/producing multiple windows and I need to refresh in order to get it working properly again. This has happened three times in the last five days - so frequently that I now keep the refresh instructions on my desktop. Today I heard the CPU grinding and clicked open my Activity Monitor to see four listings of 'FirefoxCP Isolated Web Content' running all of them using in excess of 2Gb. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a screenshot of the Activity Monitor while this was going on as I had the Mac force quite Firefox and the moment I did, the activity stopped, but I've attached an example of the Activity Monitor showing still high CPU values for a few moments of browsing.

So what's up? How can I stop the CPU grab? How can I stop the frequent crashing?

On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, Thunderbird was auto-updated on my computer. Shortly after that, I tried to start the tax preparation program I use for preparing tax returns for my clients. I am a CPA and tax preparer. The tax prep program is called "ATX" and is a product sold by Wolters-Klewer (aka CCH), and is unrelated to Thunderbird. I can no longer access my ATX tax prep program.

When I try, I get this message: "The program has encountered an unexpected error and needs to close." I have tried multiple times, and get the same error message every time. I also get that message when I try to start ATX for previous tax years. I am sure it is the Thunderbird update that is causing this, as I have made no other changes to my computer, programs, hardware, or anything else. The ATX program worked just fine up until yesterday.

I badly need that ATX program. Please help ASAP. If someone wants to call me, my number is (775) 747-4666.

Finally, the error message I get when I try to start the ATX program has a link that says "Show details." When I click that, I get a long list of gobbledegook, but one line may be relevant here. It says: "Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it "

I have over fifty tax return to prepare before the extended deadline of October 15th, so I desperately need to be able to open my tax prep program. I am almost certain the Thunderbird update caused this, so please help fix this right away. Thank you.

Everytime I open an e-mail I get a blank page and I cannot see anything. I have uninstalled Thunderbird and re-installed it. I have disabled my anti-virus and anti-spam on thunderbird. There are no add-ons or anything in my thunderbird. I have no idea how to get rid of this. Anyone that can help?

Windows 10 thunderbird 91.13.1 (I know ... out of date, but I tried a newer version last year and hated it.) My special address book sub categories don't work as they used to. I used to be able to right click on one of them and I got a choice to add all the entries in to a BCC field. This was great for forwarding things to a list of people with a common interest, but without sharing their addresses with all of the other recipients. It just quit doing this. If there is no easy solution, I guess I'll have to man up and upgrade! Many thanks for your volunteer work! Jack

When opening the calendar on a Mac with an M processor, it takes a terribly long time for the ball to stop spinning, on a Mac with an Intel processor it works quickly and normally. Does anyone have a solution?

1. When I start Thunderbird, the first thing that comes up is the "misinformation" "No message found". Only some time later is the inbox with the new messages displayed. The initial "misinformation" is annoying.

2. When I open a message, I have to constantly click backwards until I get back to the inbox. Why is there no button for this?

When I run Thunderbird, it automatically downloads my new e-mails. Every time I launch the program, it gets stuck on the next to last e-mail (i.e.- the display shows 8 of 9) and hangs for several seconds, during which I can't use the program at all. Is there a fix for this? I turned off junk mail scanning.

I've used FF for years. The last year, it does not function correctly on about 20% of sites. I suggest focusing on making it compatible, rather than requiring sites that are perfectly coded. I may have to drop FF soon.

Help me return to correct settings in Firefox so I can enjoy playing "June's Journey" and "Pearl's Peril"(which isn't opening). As I explained in my question, there's a wide band across top of "JJ" game which appeared, as well.

 About one week ago, I was trying to re-set use of my debit card, was unable to as I'd probably severely cancelled it 6 months ago. I don't have a clue as to what the connection between these two activities have to do with each other but it's all I have to go on.

Hi I recently changed over to Microsoft 11, my computer was installed and set up by Computer Help by a IT Consultant. My addresses are not like they use to be just come up names and addresses have disappeared which is frustrating.
