Background -- I have a Synology Disk Station. When setting it up, in order to make a secure connection I registered the Domain I planned to use with Synology and received a registered Domain Name. I then applied for and received a certificate from “Lets Encrypt. It worked fine for a few years. I was able to login to the Disk Station Locally using the Local Network IP I had assigned to it, and also able log in via the registered Domain through Synology with a Secure Connection using either method when logging in. Everything worked perfectly. Over a year ago I had some issues with my network (it has been too long ago for me to remember what it was). I could not resolve it, so when I called Netgear Tech Support they had me reset my router to factory settings. This did fix the issue I was having, but I later noticed resetting had changed my IP address. I thought this was not a problem at the time. It was then I also noticed I was no longer getting a Secure Connection on through my Disk Station. Have been trying to resolve this on my own, but I am not having any luck. But I am learning as I go. Present Day – I am still having issues logging in. The message I get when I log into the Synology registered Domain with Firefox is "Unable to Connect". I tried Chrome and get a similar message. When I log in locally using the assigned IP address I get "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead".
I click on the "Advanced" button where Firefox displays the Error Message: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN. I continue with the exception and able to log into the Disk Station.
My Goal is to get it working with a secure connection as it did before the Router Reset. -- I have checked all the appropriate ports are open. 5000 and 5001. -- Have checked for any firewall restrictions. -- I have tried replacing the previous certificate with a new one. -- Synology Tech Support does not seem to know, so I figure the problem lies within Windows 10 or Firefox. -- The Certificate in my Windows mmc Console says the Certificate is OK. Weather that is the one that is used for this connection I am speaking of, I do not know. -- The Certificate is current and has not expired. My apologies for this description being lengthy, I just want to make sure I state everything I can think of in order to get this fixed. I do not know a lot about this topic, but am learning as I go. Any help is very much appreciated.

The last update of Firefox Android completely broke base functionalities such as tabs, and you now have to go into sliding sub-menues just to open up new tabs, or even switch between tabs.
For the longest time, I've been trying to stave off using Chrome, even as more and more pages seem to flat-out not work, but with this latest update, I really can't excuse using Firefox anymore, as even basic usage now becomes a constant back-and-forth, trying to fight against the application itself.
Is there any way to resolve this, or am I forced to migrate?
Or, if this is not possible and Firefox Android 79 is indeed unusable, how do I upgrade to 68 (which I believe was the previous version) without losing my pre-existing tabs (of which I have oh-so-many).

Automatically received the latest major firefox update on my Samsung galaxy tab s3. I don't know what Mozilla did to this release but I can't find any functions to do basic browser controls like going back to the previous page, going to the next page, or refreshing a page. I really love firefox but it's kind of unusable without these controls. I'm going to have to use chrome which I'd prefer not to do until this is fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was using Firefox in my computer and it was working fine. But after I migrated to windows 10 Os and installed Firefox, I am facing some issues with Firefox. First of all, the gmail.com page is not loading correctly (image added). Also some websites like geeksforgeeks and other websites are having trouble to show some images (mainly).
- what I tried doig previously. 1. Doing ctrl + shift + r on those pages 2. Uninstalling and reinstalling firefox with clearing firefox app data folder from windows computer. 3. Doing a refresh from help menu. 4. Tried running in safe mode. (disabling all extensions) 5. Clearing cache and data from firefox settings.

I want to automate setting the zoom level.
Is there a way to programmatically set the zoom level from a script? Does Firefox expose such an API / command-line tool?
Thanks!

Hello All, I'm trying to block all Mozilla extensions and allow only a few that's approved by IT. Our environment is pretty big over 2k devices and we are using well organized AD structure by departments and did similar project with Chrome with no issues. But Mozilla template doesn't have same options as Chrome. Any idea how I can accomplish this ? Thank you.

Currently the menu only shows "Open Link in New Tab" and "Open Link in New Private Window"
I seem to remember having to edit something in about:config to get this option in the past, but I just installed Firefox on a new computer and can't find the option.
I'm aware that there are other methods of doing that (middle click), but that's not ideal as I'm really used to using the right-click menu.
Firefox no longer signs me in to my Yahoo mail, I get in through microsoft edge have done all the suggestions deleted history, cookies, etc still can't sign in.
Over the last week or so I've encountered several websites where the fonts aren't rendering properly. (Sample image attached.)
Anyone know why?

TL/DR: See the image. ;)
I'm on Ubuntu 20.04 (Xubuntu flavor), using Firefox 79.0, working on a web site. I'm coding specifically for Arial... and it's returning Times New Roman.
I have Arial installed, via the ttf-mscorefonts package and also adding them from a Win10 box.
Please, no "But you should do 'font-family: Arial, Veranda, sans-serif'" dismissive answers. Why? Because if I do "font-family: Arial, Veranda" I still get Times New Roman. I can even substitute "Pulsar Beta" here (a font that is installed to my local account) and it still gives me Times New Roman.
If I do "font-family: sans-serif" I get Veranda, not Arial... which is odd because Arial is my default font.
Doing "font-family: Veranda" gets my Times New Roman.
Chrome doesn't have this issue!
As a picture is worth a thousand words, see the pic.
What can I do? I did see some bugs that were fixed in v56, but none of the debugging tips help there.

I hate, yes hate the latest Firefox upgrade! In its infinite wisdom Mozilla has taken a perfectly fine browser and fucked it up! I can't find things. I can't get to screens I was used to. I can't figure out how to bookmark a page! And the icons are so small in my list of top sites that the list is now useless! (And I suspect these changes were made to make the browser better for cell phones, and we tablet users are now shit out of luck!
You people and your stupid fucking updates that are supposed to make my 'user experience' better. Well, you've failed miserably!
So, how can I uninstall this update and reinstall the version that was working for me? Or, is there some sort of 'classic mode' option to allow the browser to look and feel and function as it used to? Or will I - as I suspect - now have to look for another browser to use?
