I've been trying to get a video to play for over a day now, drm-controlled content is checked but firefox won't install the widevine plugin, it just keeps saying that it will install shortly. I even deleted the cache in hopes to fix the problem, but it did nothing. What can I do to fix this? Also, and I don't know if this is a related problem, some websites just don't show up. It will say they are loaded but all I get is a blank screen (dailymotion and instagram so far).

On Firefox settings I came cross some locations where I see Google Chrome like on page info about:home or Application Basics: Google Location Service Key and Google Safe browning Key. Also, on a link called Survey where there is Google forms to fill out. I don't use Google Chrome because of the issues Google Chrome creates when I go on my the websites. Why are these Google things in Firefox and is there a way to remove them?

I stupidly exported my Google browser bookmarks to Firefox when setting up on a new device and lost all my firefox bookmarks from all my other devices as a result. I am utterly horrified and freaking out - it's years of bookmarked articles that I'd even organised into folders! Is there any way to get them back?

Starting last week, or earlier, Firefox in my iPhone renders some websites in night mode colours. This seems most frequent in sites accessed by Google. I have tried turning night mode on and off in as many places as I can find, without improving the situation.

Hey, Since I've updated my ipad to the newest os (15.7) my Firefox got really slow and buggy. Often it simply crashes once it's loading a page. I am not be able to use my enpass password manager anymore too... It simply won't show the keyboard once I want to log into anything. A look in the reviews section of the app store shows me I am not alone.

What's going on? I am using Firefox on so many devices but not on my ipad it's just not usable anymore.

I've read the forums, i've tried adjustments for days on Win 11 and firefox. Zoomed in zoomed out, adjust font sizes Either it's way too tiny to read or the page is fine but text over laps i've tried the zoom in on text only as well Basically tried everything. enclosing a youtube page for reference

It seems that printing in Firefox for Android is not possible. I don't understand this as I need to print constantly. I've always preferred Firefox to Chrome, but I'm going to have to quit Firefox and use Chrome or brave. Because they will let you print. If they can let you print so easily, why can't firefox? I also can't find a way to make a PDF. Print PDF is in the print menu which is not available, it seems. I also have printed PDFs in Firefox for Android, but I can't make a PDF in order to print one. This is just nuts, and is infuriating and a big time waster. Goodbye, Firefox.

What are the correct settings for email accounts in Thunderbird? On my new computer my accounts were setup in imap with SSL - but then changed to TLS, but I continually get this message " Non-overridable TLS error occurred. Handshake error or probably the TLS version or certificate used by server imap.actrix.co.nz is incompatible." I have a Dell Vostro 5620 laptop with Windows 11Pro. I am using Firefox 105.0.1 on a Windows 11 computer. I have sufficient gpu and cpu power to run 4k videos in full screen with no choppiness or lag. However, when I exit full screen mode it seems as if frames are being skipped. I am using LocalCDN, Ublock Origin, and container tabs.

Is there any reason for this to be occuring?

Yesterday I noticed that my saved passwords were not being retrieved from Firefox. I did do a Windows update before this happened. None of my passwords are able to be retrieved. My Firefox account says my sync is not working & that my account is disconnected. Which is weird bc I'm actually signed in to Firefox now - able to see my user name. What's going on here & how can I fix it? Thanks!

revert back to Firefox 101, which I believe was presented in the mass update of 102. my problems: a: Address lists could not be easily selected to send emails to . b. no check boxes for sending such as "TO", "CC", "BCC".

Accessing mail.yahoo.com as I have for many years, recently many functions do not work in Yahoo mail with Windows 10. Cannot select a message, cannot reply or forward, cannot go back to messages clicking the "back" arrow, cannot select the settings button. Yahoo mail works correctly in Chrome however. How to fix??

This should sound familiar.... It's copied from a 2 year old thread on the FF boards. I cleared the cache and flushed all my cookies. I removed my recently added addon (Malware Bytes). Problem still there.

password listed in the saved logins is correct, but it does NOT export to the bank a/c correctly - it adds one more character, and since I can't "view" it there I don't know what it adds! when i copy and paste it from the saved logons page, it works - but the "automatic" entry onto the bank's sign-in page is not correct, and I can see it has one too many characters there.

one of my friend uses google. As we live in sweden, We have to visit so many swedish site. But google always translates all those possible to English automatically, and also there is an option comes as you can change the language.

But I do not get the chances here.

I had two Firefox windows open. One had 100+ tabs open, the other had around 5 open. Like a klutz I accidentally closed the window with the 100+ tabs open instead of the other window. Now when Firefox restarts it opens the version with the 5 tabs.  :-( I read about lost tabs in Firefox. I have found a file with the 100+ tabs in it. It is called: upgrade.jsonlz4-20221007134813. But what do I do next to restore Firefox to restart with the 100+ tabs version? Thanks.
