I am having a problem with receiving emails that are someone replying to an email I sent. I don't hear back from them and when I give them a call to see why they haven't responded they say, yes they have. So I go and type their name in the search bar at the very top and it shows me their responses and says that the email is in my inbox but it isn't! How do I figure out where these emails actually are and how can I get it to stop doing this?

when I click - to open - a downloaded message, the message immediately opens up, (after my click), but the page is all words/sentences to click on to open up to view the actual content of the Page. This is hard to describe.

Before, when I clicked a message in my inbox, the full page opened up. Now I have to do a second click to see the content of the page. Hope this helps describes my problem.

I have re-downloaded Thunderbird, but my problem remains.

it's driving me crazy. Thunderbird suddenly and randomly switches to dark mode. making some things unreadable.

As Soon as I open Tools --> Add ons and Themes and then close it again everything is back to normal. I checked and the system setting is on "Light", so that doesn't solve it.

Can anyone pl;ease, pretty please tell me how I can switch this behaviour off? Any suggestion will help and I would appreciate if I don't need to dig up the Windows version, build, Thunderbird update versions and all these requests for numbers, which should not effect it. Any suggestion is welcome.

i have used thunerbird for many many years ... yet today i can't sign in ... message says don't recognize me earthlink email ... yet i have spent all day signing into mozella .. giving $ .. espablishing password .. etc ... i am 90 yrs old ... this process is driving me crazy ... please have a human call me at 510.540.7853 and walk me thru sign in ... i have loads ofr data in thunderbird ... addresses, sent emails, etc etc ... please please please help an old man long term user .. i NEED THAT DATA !!!!!!!!!!! ... thand .. george killingsworth [edited] @aearthlink.net ... In the last couple of days sending of two emails has failed. On both occasions the error message has reported that the message has been 'rejected for policy reasons'. It concludes 'Please check the message and try again'. What can cause this in a message? What should I check for?

I have filters set up to file emails to a second IMAP server email account. The filters are set up to copy then delete the email as the source is Gmail. When I get two emails in a row that match the same filter, the first email copies and then deletes as the filter specifies. The second email does not copy but does delete. The filter logs show that both copy and then delete.

Last emails I have received through Thunderbird on my computer was April 17, 2025. the email provider is shaw.ca. I still receive emails since then on my phone or on my computer when I login to the shaw webmail site. How can I fix this?

My printer only prints blank pages from the Thunderbird email. It prints normally from every other source. Can you tell me how to fix this problem. Thank you, Bryan

Thunderbird freezes/hangs on restart (mac OS 15.4), including in safe mode. I've updated to 137.0.2 from 129 and the same problem occurs. It only displays "Looking up gmail.com" and I get the spinning disk of doom and have to do a force quit…

Hi, I’m an employee of the City Office of Biała Podlaska (a local government unit). We have our own mail server set up, based on the OAuth2 (OpenID Connect) authentication mechanism. In our daily work, we use Thunderbird to handle email, and I try to keep it updated from time to time. However, each update comes with a certain inconvenience: after every Thunderbird update, I have to manually add entries about our server to the OAuth2Providers.sys.mjs file.

Is there even the slightest chance that these entries could be included there permanently, just like the entries for other mail servers? I’d be grateful for any feedback on this.

I have downloaded and installed Thunderbird v 128.7. I can't find an extension or procedure to sync the contacts with google contacts. The Calendar did sync just fine. I tried to install the "gContactsSync" extension, but it says that it does not work with my version of TB (128.7). I tried to do the same with the "google contact sync" extension, but it gives the same error. Anyone got any idea of what will work for veersion 128.7 of TB?
