I have installed T'bird in a new replacement pc and also added my two accounts. However, I now need to include my many Local Folders using Profile Folder information from the old pc.

Should I delete all the account information I have installed in my new pc T'bird prior to installing the Profile Folder copy? Thanks Ron

Latest update (10/2/24) is impossible to use. How can I get back the prior version for Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1 on my Macbook Air?

I have a TBI that really limits my ability to process information. The tabs now have a dropdown that is very confusing and gets in the way of my working. I have to shut Firefox and leave the computer, but of course when I am recovered from the confusion, I come back to the same situation.

I was able to find a way to stop the even-more-frustrating dropdown video preview, but it's not enough.

I have relied on FF for years, but it seem that putting more bells & whistles is more important than providing a functional browser interface. Please explain to me in plain English how to remove the overloaded browser and revert to a version I can utlize without a breakdown.

You can fix the software problem without requiring a system restore to do so. It only is happening with Firefox, not other browsers. The website display in some coding format, which I don't know how to use.

I have my settings set to automatically update Firefox. Earlier this week, Firefox 131.0 was installed through this automatic update. Since then, Firefox repeatedly and randomly crashes, and I have no idea why because it did not happen with previous Firefox versions. There seems to be a bug in the new release that is causing this.

It seems from reading on forums and googling that there is a "return receipt" function in Thunderbird. My problem is I can't find it anywhere in my software. I've searched in every category and can't even find an "Options" on the menu. I remember when Thunderbird did have a "return receipt" that was very easy to find. Now it seems that it has disappeared altogether. What gives?

Today I was notified version 131.0 had been installed. Now, when using ThinkorSwim (a Charles Schwab web-based trading tool), I can't access my banking account. Here's the error: "You might have cookies blocked or cross-site tracking prevented. Depending on what browser you're using, check your settings for these terms: • Block third party cookies • Cookie tracking • Cross-site tracking Make sure cookies are not blocked and cross-site tracking is enabled. Follow any additional instructions in your browser once you have adjusted these settings."

I've used Schwab daily for 12+ years, and have never encountered this. Today is 1st day with FF 131.0.

A couple of days ago Mozilla updated the home page. Even though I examined the spiel I now get MY Home page and a Mozilla page when I open up the computer. How do i get rid of the Mozilla page?

I am getting the following error message: Platform version 131.0.1 not compatible with miniversion. Please see the screenshot attached for further details. I cannot open firefox due to this error message and I receive this error message every time I try to open the Firefox.

How can I tell Firefox that I know how to find it in those app stores if I was using any of them? Or that I know how to find anything that I need on the Internet?

Why this aggressive promotion? What is the business model behind those free apps?
