Good morning. I opened up Firefox this morning and all 4 rows of shortcuts were missing. I have gone into settings and made sure the settings for 4 rows was still the same. I cannot find them anywhere. Please help

I have various shortcuts saved on the shortcut page comes up after logging in. Its set to 2 rows.. I use it every day. Used it this morning and working perfectly. Been out and when I came back the page is totally blank. I've tried sytem restore to 5th October but makes no difference. I use Windows 10 and read that Firefox are continuing to support Windows 10 I'm visually impaired and use a desktop PC with a large screen. I'm not PC techically knowledgeable. How do I restore my shortcuts or how do I re create them?

Hi, Since the last update for Mozilla on the laptop (updated on 6/Oct/2025 - version 143.0.4 (64-bit)), all the shortcuts to websites in Firefox homepage I had pinned have disappeared. Also I can't add new shortcuts. I already have shortcuts enabled in Settings>Home>Firefox Home Content>Shortcuts.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Don't know how to describe the issue. I leave the computer on all night. In the morning, when I move the mouse to activate the screen, there is a large, 3-panel image with links to various websites. Today's panels are titled "Daily Wonder," "Hats Off to the Class of '25," and "Markets." A click on any of these panels takes me to a website. No idea how these panels are produced or by whom. If I try to take a screenshot, the images disappear and my normal home screen is shown. I do not recognize anything in the Task Manager that might explain this. Not sure if this is a Windows issue or a Firefox issue. Perhaps another user can ask me questions that will lead to more information.

I have Firefox's New Tab set as my home page, since I'm choosing to divorce myself from political doomscrolling for the next four years. The New Tab page is perfect for having frequently visited sites at the top, Pocket stories I can curate in the middle, and what used to be a history of articles and sites I've read most recently in "Recent Activity" along the bottom. Within the last few days, "Recent Activity" has been blank, and will no longer keep track of articles I've recently read. I've tried clearing the browser history and cookies, and it came back for a moment, but quickly went back to being blank. And the major downside to clearing the browser is that my four rows of most frequently visited sites gets wiped clean also, and I have to spend time getting them back on the list. I do not have Firefox set to automatically clear history upon closing it. I've tried turning "Recent Activity" off and on with the page's Settings (cog in the bottom right corner). I'd really like to have this back, as it can help me find recently read content (especially Pocket content) easier than wading through the History log. Any help would be appreciated.

When v143 was released something happened to the shortcuts row(s). Regardless of refreshing efforts, rolling back versions, and searching the forums, there's no way to consistently get the shortcuts back. Sometimes they appear with a new browser instance, sometimes they don't. They don't appear with new tabs, and they don't stay when they do appear with a new browser. Grrrr. Please restore the shortcuts!

Hello, I'm using Firefox on Linux Mint. All of my homepage shortcuts have disappeared without the option to add them back. I tried toggling the shortcuts option on and off and nothing happens. Nothing also happens when checking and unchecking the sponsored shortcuts setting.

Since the Firefox 135.0 update loaded during the second week of February 2025, only the first tab displays short-cut tile rows ~ but thereafter all tabs are blank now.

What is going on?

For some reason after an update I lost the ability to access my collections. I can add new pages to my collection but have no way to access them. The option to add it to my homepage is now gone.

On a new tab page, I have unselected "recommended stories" and added four rows of shortcuts. Almost invariably, when I open a new tab, Firefox has added a couple of new shortcuts, bumping two of mine off the page. The shortcuts I've selected are the ones I want. I would like Firefox to stop making suggestions. Does anyone know if that's possible, and, if so, how do you do it?

The favicons on my homepage are not appearing when I launch Firefox, and I can't find any way to restore them. Turning the favicons on/off in the settings doesn't help, it just moves the location of the search bar. I've included some images to better illustrate the problem.

Is there any way we can restore the favicons?

How to disable the auto-adding of shortcuts feature from history to home page? It's really annoying, when I want to change my pinned shortcuts, I have to delete all auto added shorcuts (Even when the items on the screen are finished, they keep appearing in front of me, and this takes a long time). It is a must feature I think.

I have not changed my settings -- still want 1 row of shortcuts. They were just fine this morning but now the whole row is gone -- it's blank. I don't know how to get them back and can't seem to create new ones. Looked all through the Firefox settings but no good. What happened? Please advise.

Previously, in the shortcut screen, you could swipe left right to display the other eight shortcuts. This no longer works. I have to tap showall to display all the shortcuts. Additionally the showall setting should be remembered, you shouldn't have to do two taps to get to the second list. Please let me know how to get my favorite sites back on my home screen. I use them a lot as they are real time savers. When I signed on this morning, it asked if I wanted Firefox to access my computer. I've always said yes and the updates have never caused a problem - until today.

I would appreciate an email ([edited email from community support forum]) letting me know how to get this to work.
