After the last Firefox update, when I clicked on bkspace, it would take me back to the previous webpage. Happened on both Firefox and Chrome (laptop with Win10, all current/updated, as well as flash). Following (from 2012) Mozilla community support instructions, went into about:config and dbl clicked on browser.backspace_action and changed value from 0 to 2. This stopped the problem everywhere but Firefox on Facebook (I make sure cursor is flashing in a text box, trying to post, comment on another post or typing in messenger). The backspace key does nothing, just sits there. I type a lot...and trying to correct typos is a nightmare! I don't know if this is Firefox related, or Facebook. Have reported it to Facebook every day, but thats like beating my head against a wall, ugh! Help!?!

Is this google's latest monopoly trick or something, or what is going on?

This has happened a few times now. At first I thought, I thought I did that, must have been confused. Then, must have been on the other machine.
Now, I'm very sure that I was on v 47.0.2 yesterday. Today It says I'm on v 45.0.1 again. This time it was immediately after FF crashed. I can't verify that was true the other times.

Back to the same old problem I'm afraid. The last update of Firefox actually asked me if I wanted to enable a Trusteer Rapport add on - which I did. Naively I thought that all my previous problems would be over. Now I've got a message telling me that the add on has been disabled because it can't be verified for use with Firefox - but I've been using it for months and Firefox asked me if I wanted to enable it!!!!! Nearly every bank and building society in the UK recommends installing and using Trusteer Rapport in order to improve the safety of one's online banking. As a result I would very much like to get Rapport working again.
My only option at the moment is to stop using Firefox.

Firefox just updated to version 57, and I really don't like it. I want to downgrade to 56, but everywhere I look I have to completely uninstall firefox and then install the older version. That means I'm going to loose all my book marks, history, add ons, everything that I love about firefox. My main question is, is this a Firefox problem with moving to WebExtensions API or is it RoboForm not developing a separate toolbar and just going with the Chrome addon.
To either I would say....If I wanted Chrome and its features/worthlessness, I would use Chrome. I use(d) Firefox do the the way I can dock bookmarks on the left to have them open all the time and how the toolbar for RoboForm made everything so simple.
Please let me know whos fault/problem this is so I can either switch browsers or switch password managers (still have close to a year subscription left but this non-toolbar is a deal breaker so I would gladly leave early).

I use a few add-ons: Dashlane, New tab tools, uBlock origin, Disconnect, Dashlane, Internet Download Manager. Than you for reading this, i hope there is a solution.

10.224.219.149 is a music box that flak format files are stored and plays music. It is controlled mostly through the 'part of the package B2 as a web interface. The unit goes on line and the number it has is a static number. We use those static net numbers to access our unit. The Brennan B2 is sold with the site control. You ignore business needs and ability. The INET is a named list not a number list. It is useful if someone registers a name like https://FireFox.com and if someone enters FireFox they get the traffic not you. Try Utube.com the real one is youtube.com lots of people get trapped. So it is a bad site. Someone stole the lookalike name. Numbers are subnets of other numbers that likely have names. Let me have access or inform me how to get to my site. We need a getaround.

In prior versions of Firefox, the Properties Box used to include a large text "Description" box where I could put login information and other details for that bookmark. Now, in version 62.0, that text box no longer exists. Old bookmarks that I have no longer have this information either.
I used this text box extensively and Firefox was the one browser that had this box. Now it appears to have been removed. Can I get this Description box back? Or do I switch to a different browser?

I have the usual "Icons replaced with boxes or letters" (or tomshardware for example, the Toms Hardware logo is replaced with "t H") but none of the solutions I've found have worked. I've tried Firefox Refresh, clearing cache/cookies (also with CCleaner), Checking gfx.downloadable_fonts.enable, making sure Firefox is set to download custom fonts.
This happened once before, and it just went away. Then it happened again, and a Refresh fixed it for a little bit. Now it's back, stubborn as ever. It's happening on every site that has special icons (e.g., YouTube's like/dislike buttons, though as I was writing this the like/dislike buttons came back). It's also affected profile pictures on Tom's Hardware, not showing them either.
Any help is appreciated. :) (I can't upload images, it just stalls. Let me know if I need to post them through Dropbox or similar)

BSOD - no code given. The error is always KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE.
The past three incidents (last night and twice today) were when I was in outlook.com email and right clicked on a website.
I can read other email and click other links, but when I click on THIS company, I get the BSOD. Event viewer simultaneous errors are "Update Windows license and product key tokens failed with 0x80070005." No driver errors and I checked Driver Update. No malware or viruses (several scans). I have an event viewer full of the same information, which I am happy to provide.
I did the May cumulative update on Saturday and subsequently had four BSOD shutdowns. I posted to Microsoft, as I did last month when their CU crashed my computer. I have had BSODs every days since Saturday. I tried reinstalling the updates and it crashed my computer again.
The website that keeps crashing ME is below. We used to be able to toggle the navigation bar on and off with Ctrl-L. New, "improved" versions made it difficult so a plug-in was created to "hide" the navigation bar but it didn't work consistently and newer versions of FF disabled it. I am holding off updating until this problem get fixed
I got "Unexpected error" when trying to sign in to Firefox Sync.
I have no such issue with my office computer.
Please help.
