Whew! It’s been 3 hours, you’ve been tinkering in Photoshop all afternoon, but you finally got it:

… The Perfect Mask.

It might be the wings of a soaring eagle, your best friend's wedding veil, or a model’s curly hair — it’s the part of your photo that has real soul in it, the part you desperately want to keep.

I've received an email account from a company using Office 365 on an Exchange Server. The server is setup for IMAP. I seem to be able send mail from TB (using smtp.office365.com as the outgoing server), but it will not show up in a "Sent Folder" in the Account on TB. Both the sent and received emails are saved on the Office Mailserver, if I look on the web portal or on my iphone's mail app. Even more puzzling, I can't received email on with TB. The inbox is empty, although the emails are being received at the server (showing up on Web portal and iphone). I've got 4-5 email accounts, all running in TB. I'd hate to have to use something else for this MS Office mail. Is there some secret in getting Thunderbird to play well in this environment? The incoming server is auto-discovered by Thunderbird as IMAP SSL/TLS on Port 993, but I'm getting a reject of pswd authentication upon trying to "get messages" in TB.

How to hide the address/URL bar again ?

Hello all,

I run a bunch of web applets locally on my computer for personal use only (http://localhost/...), and until recently I could successfully launch FF using window.open(...) with the new window NOT showing the address bar (because it takes space and looks ugly within the applet, so I want to avoid it at all cost).

I believe this changed with FF 76 (I now run v. 76.0.1 64-bit on a Windows10 based computer), anyway at this point it seems impossible to NOT have the address bar show up in a FF window. :-/

To be clear : I have searched for a solution in this forum and elsewhere, found the solution to another new problem with FF ("megabar"), also seen the trick to hide the url in the address bar - but this is not what I'm looking for : I just want to *get rid of the address bar*, period.

Thanxx in advance for any help with this issue (surprised noone else seems to complain about this). :)

As of update to v68 I get errors like these: Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at file:///D:/website/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff?v=4.2.0. (Reason: CORS request not http).

What the heck is this? Why did silly mozila messed up the development of local files? How can I bypass that WITHOUT ALTERING my code? It broke fontawesome functionality! Very stupid!

I was trying to load facebook.com and this is error it get

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

any idea how to resolve this?

Since yesterday, Youtube hasn't been working on Firefox. The page loads, but then the video itself just won't play. The black screen comes up and then a circle, saying it's loading but it just never does. I've tried:

- Using Firefox in safemode, which caused YouTube to work again. I then re-entered the normal mode an disabled my only add-on (AdBlock Plus), but YouTube still didn't work. - Deleting my cache/history - Doing the windows+r thing, and deleting temporary files, which someone else on the website suggested - Refreshing Firefox

None of these solutions have worked. On my 'plugins' section, Widevine something and OpenH264 something will be installed shortly, but I don't know if that'll change anything, and it's been saying that since yesterday.

I have Firefox set to automatically download updates, but to only install them with my permission. The problem is that Firefox Quantum has a feature that displays a little green icon in the top-right corner of the window indicating that an update is available, and frequently brings up notifications prompting me to update. Most of the time, I can't just drop what I'm doing and restart Firefox, so these notifications are nothing but an annoyance.

Is there a way to disable both the notifications and the little green icon while keeping the "update but don't install" option enabled? I assume that how frequently the notification is displayed is controlled by the app.update.promptWaitTime preference, but that's the only relevant entry I found in about:config. I'm willing to disable this through my userChrome.css if necessary. If I can't find a way to disable these, I'll probably disable searching for updates completely.

Hi,

Recently large file (90+megs) downloads keep failing . The download started normally, downloads for a little, then idles out and fails with no error messages. I'm currently on Windows operating system and i even tried disabling all add-ons and scan functionality in my browser and it's not my IPS giving me grief either. I've also tried with other browsers such as Explorer and chrome and have no problems with them with the same file and location.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is getting really aggravating...

Thanks, - Ult
