The latest example is the button to sign into LinkedIn. It is not working in Firefox, but it does in other browsers. I have other examples just from today. I have used firefox as default for many years. I assume this is a security thing, but these are basic links. I have no add-ons or other complications. Most times, I do not even realize there is a problem, but when I feel something is wrong, I try another browser and it works. Thank you.

Hi,

I have scoured the web and can't seem to find a solution to this. Either firefox doesn't support this feature or I haven't looked enough.

How can you identify the pid of a tab in firefox? There isn't a tab in the task manager that shows this, like with chrome, opera, and edge.

I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks

I recently installed new pc with fresh Firefox Developer Edition. Then I transfered the profile folder from old pc to the new pc. All bookmarks, addons, etc is there. Just the XULRunner popup appears only on the new pc. I uninstalled firefox on the new pc again and reinstalled it with profile cleaning. After profile cleaning firefox got faster and addons got removed. But the XULRunner popup keeps appearing. When I go to taskscheduler and trigger the "Firefox Developer Edition Background Update CA9422711AE1A81C" again, the XULRunner popup appears. Removing this taskscheduler and Firefox keeps readding it and the XULRunner popup are back. Any idea how I can get rid of the XULRunner popup?

Suddenly, I cannot sent Spectrum email from Thunderbird. Spectrum checked things on their end and said all is fine. I turned off Deep Guard in my Anti-virus software (briefly) and that didn't help. I get this message when trying to send email: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Outgoing server (SMTP) error. The server responded: impout002.msg.chrl.nc.charter.net cmsmtp 47.134.62.67 blocked. Please see https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/understanding-email-error-codes for more information. AUP#Out-1130.

I can receive mail fine. I tried to look at my outgoing 'settings' in tools but only see the setting for incoming with the port @ 993. I CAN send Yahoo mail from Thunderbird fine (though I cannot SEE any outgoing port info in that mail either). Hoping someone can help.

TIA...

When I now open my firefox browser it will only open in a minimized window located in the upper left corner of my monitor. I then need to click the "minimize window to change to "maximize" and then click it to open the window to a full size screen. As I open new tabs after this they open in full size screen mode. But once I close the browser I have to start all over again. Is this happening because of the new update? Would appreciate your help please. Note: I did not take a full pic of my desktop, just the top portion that includes what I see when I open the browser.

The BBC website believes I am in another country, other than the UK. It currently redirects from bbc.co.uk to bbc.com, with some content no longer being available.

I have checked my IP, and it is currently a UK-based IP address. I do not have any active VPN profiles.

I have refreshed Firefox, deleted profiles, and redownloded but still the issue presists.

This problem is not reflective on any other browsers on the same machine.

Grateful for your help.

This is the BBC's advice, which I have followed - https://www.bbc.co.uk/contact/questions/behind-the-scenes/website-domain-change

I am using Thunderbird with the two following extensions: (i) Thunderbird Conversations and (ii) LookOut (fix version).

Sometimes, when I receive an email containing some attachments, they are not displayed unless I open the email by selecting the option "view using the classic reader". This is quite annoying as the only way to realize that the email is supposed to include an attachment is that the sender mentions it in the message. However, that doesn't always happen (in most of the case I actually see the attachments) and I cannot figure out what makes Thunderbird show (or not) the attachments and the end of the message.

Does anyone have the same issue and know a way to systematically see attachments included in emails? Thank you.

I'm running Firefox 99.0.1 on Ubuntu 22.04. Recently (I think since I updated to Ubuntu 22.04 about a week ago), Firefox has been refusing to show me file upload dialogs. When I click a button that's supposed to give me one, nothing happens.

This has been happening with: - The "attach files" button in Gmail - A file upload button on Gradescope (website for managing homework assignments) - File -> Open File... and Ctrl+O.

Dragging and dropping a file onto an email in Gmail does attach the file -- it's just that the button doesn't work.

I've tried restarting, and I've tried running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode -- so far nothing has fixed the problem. What else should I do?

Hi all

For a while now I've had a problem in Firefox where images randomly show up with green blocky glitches or yellow lines on them. Also sometimes text does not show correctly. I've attached a couple of examples. The image is from my Facebook feed (but it can happen on any website it seems) and the text is open tabs - the one on the right is this page.

Any suggestions? I've refreshed the Firefox install, and have only one add-on - an ad blocker. I've tried two different ad-blocking add-ons and the problem persists with both.

Thanks

I have gone through your posted troubleshooting steps for Firefox on my desktop, to no avail. How do I get my desktop back to version 100.0 so it will work again? I can access my OneDrive account via the web on my desktop when I use the Safari browser, so the issue is definitely with Firefox version 100.0.1, and not with my desktop.
