Firefox (32-bit) constantly crashes since updating to v53, I've tried to disable most of my extensions but with no luck, and updating to v53.0.2 didn't solved the problem. It can work some time but when I refresh or load new page, it sticks for some seconds and then shows crash report form, and I see it ten times per a day.
Problem is that these crashes only happen on internal resources (e.g. our local TeamCity server) from offline Firefox profile, so I can't just send bug report using crash report form. I've copied report files from pending folder of my offline profile to the same folder of online profile but I still can't submit it because clicking on report at about:crashes page opens About Throttling page. How can I force submission of this report?

I'm running XP64 pro. The scripts on Yahoo will stall FF after a few minutes. Often I get the popup message that a plugin script has stalled and asks if I want to prevent seeing this again from the site. That's nice but every page on Yahoo is unique. So the stall happens on every page that isn't closed after a short while. The more stalls I get the slower my computer runs even though I use task manager to kill stalled processes. Then I have to reboot to clear out the FF remnants. Is there a way to kill remnants of stalled scripts without rebooting? Often FF crashes and asks me to send a report to Mozilla. Seems to me you guys should have a feature to enable extended logging for inclusion in crash reports. I have sent many requests to fix the problem. If you guys can't fix the root cause of the problem then can you at least provide a decent workaround so the memory doesn't get cluttered up with orphaned threads sucking up all my CPU power?

I had problems with Firefox crashing lately, and it may have something to do with one of the plugins. So I checked the plugins I have, and I noticed that I have Java DT 8.0.660.18 installed, yet there is a warning that the plugin may be vulnerable. I have Windows XP, (yeah I know, stupid Microsoft doesn't support XP help anymore), and so getting the latest version of this will be tricky, let alone impossible. Should I change the setting in my Firefox to "never activate"?

Clicking to launch Firefox immediately causes it to crash with the Mozilla Crash Report appearing. Even that doesn't work properly as I get a message reading, "There was a problem submitting your report."
I am connected, using IE to submit this request for help (the machine is XP). Below is the pasted Mozilla crash report information.
Thank you very much.

I cannot start Mozilla Firefox at all, no matter what I do. Nothing on the site so far has been able to help since everything assumes I can actually start it! The only thing that happens when I click Mozilla Firefox is a crash report, that's it. Nothing else, no screen flicker, no Mozilla appearing for a second or two, nothing but the crash report. I've been having this problem for about 4 days and haven't been able to fix it. The only thing I can think of is to completely uninstall Firefox (which I've been avoiding since I'd like to keep all my preferences if possible but it's looking more and more like I cannot).

Hi Mozilla,
I am experiencing repeated crashes when opening Firefox (both standard and developer versions). The crash happens within 30 seconds of opening Firefox. The behavior just before the crash involves a slight hang, and then a crash.
I am able to debug with Visual Studio, and can see the following error message: Unhandled exception at 0x00007FF836A36FB1 (xul.dll) in firefox.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0000029F7A02DFDC.
I have tried many, many avenues, including: - Freshly reinstalling Windows 10 Enterprise - Running Firefox as Admin - Starting Firefox in Safe Mode - Refreshing Firefox - Reinstalling Firefox - Disabling/Enabling hw acceleration - Running a malware scan - Installing all necessary Windows updates
If I have some time, I will likely get the latest source and run it locally in debug. However, I am a C# dev, and not a C++ dev, so it may not be all that helpful.
